After today's update I experience exactly the same thing. Devastatingly long loading times and even launch screen pops up super slow. When I start the DCS the fan speed goes up slightly then almost goes sleeping. Usually the fans should have been spinning fast. What I noticed, even the video in launch screen runs with stutters, I am not even mentioning the game; my FPS dropped from 72 solid to 20 max.. I did numerous methods, thx to Chatgbt, but the problem still exists. Then I read this forum and disable the Hyper Threading, unfortunately also this did not help. Since yesterday I had no issues at all... Let me know if anyone has an idea

I barely used to fly the F5 and updated the module with the thought of getting motivated again. As everyone mentioned cockpit looks great. I cannot say much but the reflections on the glass looks beautiful. I am not sure if this was the case with the old module: If I press the Escape button and return the menu while holding the Nose Wheel button, Nose Wheel remains active even though Nose button is released. So after I resume the game I can direct the plane on the ground like the new era jets w/o holding the Nose Wheel button. When I want to disengage,I simply push the button again. Kinda cool bug!

I agree with you.. German pilots want no restrictions with their plane, especially on MW50, and more slots in different airfields. As you mentioned P51D is also not historical as well. Also even though I enjoy the historical accuracy, I'd rather fly an opponent match with what I fly. As we all know Germany lost the war and one of the main reasons was losing the air superiority. We should be not be reenacting history rather simulate it. However as one of the fellows here mentioned 4YA has some certain rules and there will never be MW50 for Doras well I respect their decision but I also see that many Axis Pilots avoid fighting there and that is very why it is usually not balanced. Again I should say, it is a server with certain rules and if you do not like it you do not fly there, simple.

Hi, Actually small X also does not work for me. Have you so far succeeded in locking the targets. I simulate in the mission editor and I cannot lock a supply ship. how did you make it work?

After installing the both replacement lenses I still have blurriness for both lenses (left one is just alright) and still some distortion. I contacted the customer service, and now they are sending me a new right lens. I do not understand why the lens quality differs that much. I think they are handcrafted..Anyways, the 3rd lens (right) is on the way.. Also on Friday there is a Pimax Roadshow close to where I live, I will have the chance to try a different headset.. Also what I don't get, even though I use eye tracking and DFR, there is still significant sweet spot with this headset. To be honest Q3 has better edge to edge clarity. If I look slightly anywhere apart from centre the image quality gets blurry.

I got the new pair of lenses. They are way better than the stock ones. However there is blurriness slightly over the centre, at least something I can live with it. What I realized with Pimax is, it is has a sweet spot and it is not edge to edge clear like Quest 3. Nevertheless it has much higher resolution on comparison to Q3. Also far better in terms of performance. Q3 was terrible on that. My experience with Pimax's customer service is positive. whenever I create a post in reddit or in discord, they always respond with some feedback. Recently I opened up a ticket concerning my faulty lenses, they immediately responded and sent me a new pair of lenses. I also had Quest 3, and I can say their customer service is not good at all, whatever defect you might have the response always the same: "That is normal". Actually from my side Q3 has much better potential, adge to edge clarity, great sound, standalone content etc...however product quality inconsistency is a big drag!

UPDATE: I sent a video image to Pimax customer service, the day after they responded my email and now they are now sending 2 new lenses. Good customer service!

like a big wavy bump in the middle of the lens when looking at stuff alongside poor clarity within that bump.... It was resolved by sending new lenses. I am sure this is what I have. I believe Pimax is solid and the best headset around as long as it works properly

Thanks for your respond. Yesterday I have spent hours to fix things, distortion gets less and less if I move away the headset, so I think I need Spacer and thicker pad. Distortion is still there but bearable. However, blurry image does not make sense. I use eye tracking together with DFR but slightly abovee centre is blurry even though I look there. Actually I have seen a pot in reddit about it. This is exactly what I am experiencing, beside that chromatic aberration is also there, but does not bother me a lot. Maybe it is because of my head shape or my eyes... I am not sure, but also I know couple of friends using Pimax are very satisfied with it. May be not for me. Quest 3 was really good in terms of Focus but stutter issue frustrated me a lot

As a person who owned G2, Q3 and Pimax, here are my thoughts. Before starting my comments I am not an advanced tech savvy person, I usually use Reddit or youtube for troubleshooting and most of the time I must admit those are not really helpful. 1. Reverb G2: that is the headset I used almost a year and I should say my favourite headset. Why favourite? I set it up and used almost 1 year with the same settings I set up initially and the visuals were smooth, audio was amazing and super comfy 2. Quest 3: This headset could have been the best of best ever however: I bought this headset 3 months ago and initially It was amazing for DCS. Edge to edge clarity, above average speakers (not as good as G2), comfortable with 3rd party options. The first month was amazing however in the second month of my ownership I started to get stutters or choppy visuals without frame drop. I probably watched tens of youtube videos, spent hours on reddit and finally gave up. I tried almost all probabilities with the debug tool, asked for help, uninstall and then reinstall lot of things in my PC but did not help. I even changed completely my internet package, bought a new Wifi 6e router, reinstall cables with CAT7 but nothing helped and a month ago I sold it. Again the image clarity after Reverb G2 was a big step up 3. Pimax Crystal: Dissapointment? I owned this headset for 3 days now, for the benefit of the doubt I put a question mark. The image clarity is excellent, however the blurriness just above the centre and below the centre does not make any sense to me. You must wear the headset super accurately to find the sweet spot. Also I am very much annoyed with the distortion. With Quest 3 I had no distortion at all, focus was effortless. However with Pimax it is a challenge. It feels like I am looking through a fish eye camera (some say barrel distortion). I wear the helmet as instructed but nothing helps so far. What I noticed I need a thicker pad for separation as when I move the headset away from my eyes the visuals get slightly better. Also chromatic aberration is noticeable but I don't mind it. What is really frustrating for me is the distortion of the lenses, I totally lost my depth perception. I asked my wife to wear the headset (for sure we set up IPD for her) she experienced the same distortion. It feels like there is bump or dent slightly higher and lower of the centre of the screen. with Quest 3 even if wore the headset sloppy I had never had this problem. Audio, terrible!. I already ordered DMAS (it is on the way). And for some reason there is audio lag, and if I click audio latency the lag goes away but the quality even gets worse as if it there is room to get worse. Conclusion: considering the cost of products, If I had no frame latency issue Quest 3 would be a winner by far. High likely I will return the Pimax in the next few day as I cannot focus with the present distortion. I know many people favours Pimax but did not work for me.

I also had a disappointing experiencing with Quest3. I used to have Reverb G2, I was content with it, no issues but I wanted to upgrade. The first month was amazing, I was baffled with overall clarity and on games like Half Life the results were excellent. However after the first month I started to getting annoying choppy visuals and audio issue no matter what settings I had. I tried the VD, it was much worse. I purchased a new 6e router, thing the issue was the bitrate, did not help...Even tough I set min graph settings I could not get rid off the stutters and choppy visuals. I had no problem with Reverb G2. Then I saw numerous posts on Reddit and other platforms where people also telling their frustrating stories. 2 weeks ago I gave up and sold the headset. Some people have decent experiencing and some don't. I had almost spent hours for troubleshooting. one day, there is a debris on usb slot, another day Q3 cannot find 6ghz network etc etc...I am now looking for a new headset. High likely I will go for Pimax but kinda costy.

It has been more than a month and still have the choppy visuals and time to time audio, What I did: - I bought Asus 7800 Wifi 6E router and placed it near my PC and connect it to my PC and the modem with CAT 7 cable. - I tried every possible scenario for Oculus Debug Tool - Finally as of today, decided to sell the Quest 3.. Nothing worked. Playing DCS is way too painful

Well, don't bother the official cable. From my perspective it is a rip off, and also does not function different than a 20 eur cable.

I think this could be the solution. Obviously this is something to do with bitrate.. what a waste to spend 100 Eur on a cable...Stupid me
