  1. IT WORKED!!! You are one awesome dude. I can't tell you how much this problem has aggravated me. Not to mention how much of my time it wasted. Thanks again.
  2. Many thanks, MAXsenna! I'll give that a try. It will test my tech abilities, but I'm a fast learner (I think).
  3. I have been enjoying using A-10C and now A-10C II for over a year. However, whenever I go to play, it can take up to ten to twelve minutes to load the program. This is especially true if I had recently restarted my computer. Hence, I tend to leave my computer in "sleep" mode, but even so, it takes a very long time. I have a very powerful computer with lots of RAM. I'm wondering if this an issue with my firewall. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  4. THANK YOU TOM! I can't believe it. Where did those wheel chocks come from? I have played this program about forty times and never had to remove any wheel chocks. Maybe they were added in an update. Anyway, thanks for the suggestions. I was thinking that I would have to buy a new set of rudder pedals or something. I am a glider pilot. We generally don't need chocks., just wing tie-downs.
  5. I am a new but enthusiastic member of the A-10C community. I have been attempting to learn the basics of this phenomenal game, but I have run into a very vexing problem. Typically I use the "Cold and Dark" training program under the "Instant Action" heading. and it was working fine until recently when, for no apparent reason, after I have gotten my taxi clearance from ATC, nothing happens when I apply power. Plenty of audio and all gauges are working. However, despite going to full power, there is no movement (and no, my feet are not on the brakes)! What is that about? Sorry to bring such a lame problem to the community but I am a newbie. Any thoughts?
  6. jaylw314, YOU ROCK! I suspect this was incredibly easy for you but I would never have figured it out. Thanks.
  7. Hi there. I am new to A-10C (legacy version) and a noob in general. I somehow figured out how to remove the joystick from the cockpit view so that I can see the NMSP. However, the Emergency Manual Chute handle on the right blocks my view of the ILS and TACAN frequency windows. Any tricks to get a better view?
