I have duplicated and compared the level flight acceleration test according to the F14AAP1.1 manual, Figure 8-5. Level Flight Acceleration (sheet 8 of 12). Game settings: temp 15C, 29.92hg, 35000ft alt, 2+2+2 configuration, full internal fuel which brings a gross weight of 63877 pounds in mission editor page, since the AIM54 pallets and fairings (2200 lbs total)weight is not calculated in ME page so the actual gross weight equals to 66000 pounds. Spawned at 35k alt, immediately enter full A/B and maintained alt during whole process, here is the table I made. left column is the indicated mach number ranges, right column is the time spent to travel through corresponding ranges. indicated mach time spent(secs) 0.68-0.8 22 0.8-0.9 16 0.9-1.0 26 1.0-1.1 39 1.1-1.2 31 1.2-1.3 23 1.3-1.4 21 1.4-1.5 20 1.5-1.6 23 1.6-1.7 29 1.7-1.8 36 my observations: a) In-game F14B underperforms in the m1.0-1.2 range which takes 70 secs while in the manual chart it takes roughly 0.5 mins (30 secs), I also tested a full clean configuration in game and it still takes 49 secs to complete the m1.0-1.2 acceleration, still longer than the manual chart 2+2+2, so it's not about payload drags. b) In-game F14B overperforms in the above m1.6 range, it only takes 65 secs to complete a m1.6-1.8 acceleration, in the manual chart its 1.7 mins(102secs), it's even faster than its own m1.0-1.2. I think it will be a good idea to look at it. -------- I didn't include the manual chart because I don't know if I'm allowed to, if you have the F14AAP1.1 you can easily find the right page I'm talking about.

F-14A/B Flight Model Tuning - Guided Discussion

why don't you just click the camera itself to hide it?
-
manually delete the liveries: F14 liveries located in your: DCS World Openbeta/CoreMods/aircraft/F14/Liveries they are in zip files and just delete them

Hello sorry to revive the thread but after my testing I suppose this fix is still not implemented? I mean the radar lock after slaving to TCS lock.
-
oh please do not remove the current one, many people still prefer the dirty ones.
-
@Timghetta our hero, would you please check this out? my humble apology for @ you
-
dear Razbam could you please update these small details of the external model to bring us a better & more accurate simulation? I beg you, 1 million thanks
-
the sound alarming logic is correct, however the tone might be adjusted by a little bit in later updates.
-
right if there's no hotfix
-
SME just said in DC that it will get fixed in next patch/hot fix it will be a bracket around the AI threat who is locking on you
-
Does that mean we will have no way to identify which AA threats are currently locking on us if there are multiple of them? ----------------------- never mind i just found the discord server.
-
Hello the RWR behavior and symbology got updated I'm confused, now the circle thing around an airborne threat which is locking you no longer exists, so now you will have no idea which threat is locking on you, but the latest manual still says there will be a circle around the emitter indicating who is locking you, so is this a new bug or the manual is wrong? and the sound now is far less warning not only because of a much lower volume but it also only beeps for several seconds instead of the constant beeping... is this more realistic? null null

Jdam - last bomb dropped falls behind/short of target
zlm63682 replied to Flapjacks's topic in Bugs and Problems
I can CONFIRM this issue still exists, 2 bombs from CFTs are still approaching reversed terminal angle when releasing at 20k altitude IN ZONE. come on this issue has been existed from day 1 of JDAM update it's almost 3 months.. -
AP SEL function stops working after 2.9 update

I have already figured it out that it only works under certain parameters and in my case it's because supersonic. I have already figured it out that it only works under certain parameters and in my case it's because supersonic.
