DCS wont install on steam due to the CONTENT FILE LOCKED error. I installed a mod for dcs for which I also had to replace certain files. That didn't go well, after which I decided to delete my DCS saved files folder and uninstall DCS on Steam and then reinstall it via Steam. Unfortunately, that is no longer possible. After 4-5% download I get the error message: CONTENT FILE LOCKED, the download then stops. I have already tried several things, including running everything as Administrator, clearing the cache in Steam and changing download region, repairing the Steam download folder, resetting the network on the PC and then running a prompt via CMD and restarting. Even uninstalling and reinstalling Steam doesn't work. Please help.

Hi there, During the summersale I bought the Heatblur F-14 Tomcat module and the Supercarrier DLC. Was really looking forward to do some awesome carrier operations using the Mighty Tomcat. But I keep having bad preformance issues using these DLC's. I already lowered my setting in DCS burt my framerate keeps going all over the place and the stuttering is really breaking the immersion for me. FPS is around 30-50. Recently I'm also experiencing some bad loading times in online servers. Yesterday I have upgraded my RAM from 16 to 32 GB, hoping that this could solve the problems, but unfortunatly not. Below are my specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Memory: 32,0GB Dual-Channel DDR4 3200 MHZ Motherboard: MSI MPG B550 GAMING PLUS GPU: 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (MSI) All of my software and games are installed on a SSD drive. Hi there, I love the Gripen and when I found that there was a DCS mod I got really excited. Ive downloaden the files and dropped them in the correct mannner in my mod/aircraft folder. I tried out a training mission and after that flew the Gripen in a custom mission with friends. After about 1 hout into the game my DCS crashed. After that I was unable to join any DCS servers online. Found out that the Gripen mod folder caused the problem. I had to delete the mod in order to be able to play DCS. Is there a way to make the mod working properly? Thanks!

Hello, I am playing DCS for about a week now and I am using a Logitech Saitek X52 Hotas. I am trying to fly the T-51 Mustang that comes with the free DLC. My first attempts at take off were oke. When gaining sufficient speed the plane would take off but since yesterday I am having serious issues. I followed some tutorials about correct engine start, taxi and take off. I follow all of these steps correctly including setting the rudder trim to 5 degrees. When I am on the runway, holding brake and gently increase the throttle an release brake, it rolls down the runway as usual. But when I am at a speed of about 100 mph the plane suddenly takes off and rolls down to the left resulting in a fast crash. This has happened every time I try to take off since, even when I use the auto start procedure. All of the assisst are turned off in the main setting menu by the way. What am I doing wrong here?
