  1. Having a hell of a time spotting on WW2 servers while playing 4K on a 42" 2D screen. What is strange is I can see the distance dot pretty well far out, but at about medium range totally lose visibility. Practically have to stumble in at 5 miles to see planes. So can pick up planes at 20 miles, but once within 10 miles it starts to draw in a tiny little plane and you lose it easily. Feel like 4K has a distinct DIS-advantage over lower resolutions, which feel a bit backwards IMO. I see some videos to drop your screen resolution but that won't happen with a Tobii Eyetracker 5. Have zoom setup and use it, but even when zooming in, at a certain zoom it'll flip from a good sized tracking object to the tiny plane just like if you were closing and not zooming. Not sure what the solution is outside of lowering resolution. I saw some patch notes on this, but doesn't seem to help so far.
  2. I set the Terrain Shadows off and seemed to help me. Still get the building and tree shadows here, so that seems fine.
  3. Hi all, Currently sporting a 5 year old ASUS ROG Swift PG348Q IPS 1440p widescreen. Getting very high FPS with a RTX 4090 so considering making the jump up to 4k. Specifically looking at the ASUS ROG Swift 41.5” 4K OLED Gaming Monitor (PG42UQ). Was wondering for those that went 4k and possibly have OLEDs. 1. Going from a IPS monitor to OLED worth the extra cost? 2. OLED a big improvement with DCS World? 3. I see a lot of people using LG C2 TV/Monitors for DCS World. Those worth taking a look at? 4. For people that had DCS World with a 1440P and went to 4K, how big of a FPS hit did you take? If you had to turn down eye candy, was the extra resolution worth it? Thanks for any input or recommendations ahead of time!
  4. Yup that was it. Just needed to hit M. There a way to make them enabled by default instead of hitting M every time?
  5. So haven't added any Mods, read some of the other threads on the F14 Mirrors but haven't found a solution. Basically my mirrors in both the F14A and B are just blurry textures. Checked mirrors in the F18C and those look fine and work as expected. nullTried changing some settings around, but nothing seems to make a difference. Turned off settings or lowered the cockpit resolution down to 512, no difference. Verified that my description.lua in the F14\Liveries\F14B_Cockpit had the following set already. livery = { {"mirror_top", 0 ,"mirrors",true}; {"mirror_left", 0 ,"mirrors",true}; {"mirror_right", 0 ,"mirrors",true}; {"rio_mirror", 0 ,"mirrors",true}; } Anyone have ideas?
  6. Found it! Thanks, was in the Virpil Controls LIte views and not the PRO. That's what hung me up, plus found this video incase it helps anyone else.
  7. Been trying to figure this out for a while, but haven't found anything in searching. I have a Virpil MT50CM3 Throttle, which has the flaps axis level in the front right corner. Now it acts as a Axis Control (Axis 3 / rZ) in the VPC Configuration tool. However in DCS I cannot figure out how to map it to the Flaps controls for any plane since they are all Keyboard buttons and not a Axis. There a way to map my Flaps axis bar to the DCS Flaps commands? Been driving me nuts. Thank you!
