  1. It's not your ship to steer either my dude, only one of us is trying to stop the other from voicing their opinion and that's you my guy.
  2. If you think that customers opinions don't matter because no money has changed hands then you are just a belligerent and ignorant person. All the reasonable arguments levelled pre release against M3 or any other dev for that matter have centered around increasing trust through more transparent, honest and frequent communication. Nothing more and certainly not difficult. Sounds like you are perturbed that people disagree with you.
  3. If you honestly don't think the Corsair development isn't a commercial undertaking, whether it's done by enthusiasts or professionals, part time or full time is irrespective. It's obviously being made for them to sell. The sooner you figure that out the happier we'll all be. Stop being belligerent and disingenuous.
  4. Completely disingenuous to suggest that they aren't trying to sell a Corsair module.
  5. To be perfectly clear, I'm not demanding that they hurry up and release the module (despite my feelings that 8 years is an enormous amount of time). The almost complete lack of communication and community engagement plus a contemptuous "you'll get what you get, when we give it to you and that's the end of discussion" attitude isn't acceptable, particularly when from the people trying to sell a product. It's an easy fix, it needs not be more complicated than that. It also does M3 no favours to be so quiet, it leads to rumours and innuendo and it's hard to blame people for calling this project Vaporware, when the devs themselves are barely visible, some what akin to vapour.
  6. You've described a forum where no one can say anything as their respective opinions are only a matter for themselves. Also nice what-about-ism. No I haven't made a 3rd party module, I'm not a michelin star chef either but I could tell one his chicken is undercooked. Patience has it's limits, I'm not being abusive or crass. Merely stating that the lack of communication regarding a LONG awaited module is ridiculous. It's unreasonable to say just be patient after 8 years when you throw terrible communication into the mix. One only needs to look at HB for an example of how to communicate with your customer base, particularly after a setback. As someone else has now said this problem is very easily fixed.
  7. Exactly right. The endless keyboard defenders will come up with every reason under the sun to defend something that is very obviously poor customer relations. Arguing with them is like arguing with a flat earther. It's shilling in it's purest form. Just write a forum post more than once in a blue moon M3 it's not that hard. People have put in 10x the amount of effort trying to justify why you don't.
  8. There's 2 sides to this coin. I'm under no obligation to buy the thing they are selling either. It's a fundamental tenet of business to convince your customers to buy your product. Keep everyone happy, put out an update every week/fortnight ( whatever form that may take). It's not that hard. If you're not interested in updates then it's no skin off your nose, it takes nothing from anyone and only value adds. Also as well articulated previously, it's one thing if a project is a year or so old, this is coming up on 8 or so years which is what it is, but to expect the same pitiful level of community engagement after this long is ridiculous. They really should lift their game. At this point, choosing to be endlessly optimistic and defending this behaviour is silly.
  9. Exactly right, ignore the endless shills and white knights, it takes about 5 minutes once a week/fortnight to jump on here and give an update from a developer. It's laziness at best, contempt at worst that they don't do it. Best part is this keeps EVERYONE happy not just the portion of a community who is happy to wait endlessly for what has very slowly turned into vaporware. Corsair won't be released this year.
  10. Thanks Mike, I was hoping for a quick breakdown of what the DCSG/DMAS actually are and what features they add. Cheers
  11. Can someone give me a TLDR on the two versions of F-4E they're developing please? As always phabulous work Heatblur, a testament to your work is the trust the community has in your ability to deliver a working product and engage with the user base to develop something truly worth our money. Many a DCS developer could learn something from your approach.
  12. Was the Corsair the most fuel efficient fighter of all time? As far as I can tell the Corsair has been coasting for 8 years on Vapours which is pretty impressive, although I'd like to see some data to back it up. In before Rudel says:jUst PLaY SomEtHiNg eLSE ThE DeVs wILl giVE an UPdATe WhEn THeyRe ReADy... Just provide regular updates M3 it's not that hard.
