Great info and insight! I have been playing since beta v.3 and have not any problems with the MAV in any of the steps you have described and always managed to get a lock-on the majority of the time. Today I decided to switch TMS-Up with my weapons release buttons on my joystick. After the switch, is when my problems began. I still can`t get the MAV Wheel to lock to the waypoint/marker with new TMS-UP button or release my weapon with the switch I made. I reverted back to the keyboard TMS short forward with the mav as SOI to actually lock the missile TMS FORWARD and now it does not work as it always had. I have also tried short range with no success. I read somewhere in the forums that re-assigning commands must follow a specific order or the Sim could crash. I currently have another tread going to locate that thread...I think that could be my problem. I also have the same problem with " center cockpit view " I can`t bind it to any new key or to my joystick...it just won`t work.

I need to re-install the final version of the A-10 Warthog again. When I installed it the first time I was using an installation guide that I had found in the Warthog forums. It had some information in it that will help solve my problems incurred in my first installation. It had some information on the order of assigning new key commands to your joystick. By mistake I deleted the link and I can`t seem to locate it in the forums . Anyone out there know which thread I an referring to and where it might be located?

I think I got it to work...one question. When using my MAV Missile I get a diagonal line from the wagon-wheel pointing out of its center instead of locking-on to the designated steer-point (tanks ) it happens even after I re-start the Sim. Any ideas?

yes I thought of re-installing but may try your other option. I know I can set each command to its default setting...is there a way to set the entire command options to their default settings with one click?

I can`t seem to find a way to re-assign TMS Forward and DMS UP on my joystick. I have done it before and I can`t remember how I did it. I have tried deleting the original key assignment then adding the new joystick command followed by re-adding the original key assignment....then the opposite! I also deleted the original key assignment permanently then adding the joystick new command only. In short I have tried every permutation possible that I can think of, the only thing that bothers me is THAT I HAD DONE IT BEFORE!! What is the proper procedure...if there is one?? :helpsmilie:

When using my targeting pod I had an option to deploy my weapons on or near a target by selecting either "area" or "point" to deliver my chosen weapon. I just downloaded the final download for the A-10 and wondering if that option has been changed? I can`t seem to replicate that option. What am iIdoing wrong or is the option no longer available in the final version Thanks.

To turn on labels you have to be in game mode...what fun is that?

Can someone please list the order or a short outline as to how to locate the enemy in campaign mode. PLEASE! THX.

H LCtrl is the key assignment for changing the HUD color...but it does not work for me. Is there another key command? Thanks

I have finally started my A-10 and loaded all my pages, weapons, tgp etc on both my mfcd, the only thing that is missing is my HUD DISPLAY! I must have missed something on my start-up procedures....what command am I missing to call-up my HUD? Thanks.

can`t find....Controls and filtering for HOTAS. I also did not see nws in my controls list.

I assigned a different function to my pinky button on my stick to find out that it was reserved for..nose wheel steering. I want to keep my settings the way they are. Is there a button or switch option on my control panels in the cockpit for nose wheel steering. I just can`t seem to find it if there is. Thanks:joystick:

My son uses the x-65x Saitek for the DCS A-10 and I have the opportunity to get the new Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog Stick and throttle joystick as a birthday present. My question is, since both joysticks use special software will they conflict with each other by creating unwanted problems?

Goshawk...it does not work for me. In controls what should I be looking for...I don`t see left throttle/right throttle as an option to enter a key command
