  1. First and foremost, thank you for the countless hours and dedication you put into creating liveries for the DCS community. Your work is truly appreciated! Over the years, I’ve downloaded numerous skins for DCS and other mods, and one common issue I’ve noticed is the lack of correct installation paths for liveries and/or mods when posted to Userfiles. Could you please include the correct path reference when posting your liveries? I’ve tried to gather various references based on what I’ve seen, but it can be confusing at times. Providing clear installation instructions would greatly help ensure that users can properly install and enjoy your work. Thank you! This is not a default reference but something I've thrown together in the meantime as a reference: [Livery Name] for [Aircraft Name] Installation Instructions This livery should be placed in one of the following locations, depending on your preference: Saved Games (Recommended for Multiplayer & Integrity Check Safe) C:\Users\<YourUsername>\Saved Games\DCS\Liveries\<Aircraft Name>\ OR (for Open Beta users): C:\Users\<YourUsername>\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Liveries\<Aircraft Name>\ This method ensures the livery remains intact after updates and can be seen by others in multiplayer. Core Game Directory (If Needed for Mods or Official Modules) If installing directly in the game files, use the following paths: For Official Modules: <DCS Install Directory>\Bazar\Liveries\<Aircraft Name>\ For Certain Modules with CoreMods Folder: <DCS Install Directory>\CoreMods\aircraft\<Aircraft Name>\Liveries\ Warning: Placing liveries here may be overwritten by updates. Use this method at your own risk. Notes & Multiplayer Compatibility This livery will be visible to others if they have the same skin installed in Saved Games. If this livery is part of a custom mod, ensure all players have the mod installed for it to be visible in multiplayer. If experiencing issues, verify the file structure: Liveries\<Aircraft Name>\<Livery Folder>. 🛠 Enjoy the livery! If you have any issues, feel free to report them in the comments. Feedback and suggestions are welcome! If you like this livery, please consider leaving a rating!
  2. ----->I TAKE ZERO CREDIT FOR ANY ORIGINAL IMAGE CREATION<----- I've been experimenting with skins and mods to improve the detail and appearance. In this process, I discovered seven variations (not counting the default) of the F-14B engine nozzles. I labeled using the "A#" to track differences. The GoldenWaffles' Realistic F110 Livery Mod played a role in this, along with another non-stock RoughMet I found among various F-14B liveries. However, I'm unsure of the original creator(s) of the RoughMet files beyond the default and the mod by GoldenWaffles. Which of these variations do you think looks the most realistic? Which one appears more visually appealing or practical? For testing purposes, I used the VF-24 Renegades NG200-210, stock skins from DCS. Weathering is a natural process in the real world, and I've used numerous real-world images of F-14B and F-14D models as comparisons. I realize real-world maintainers and engineers might cringe at my general ignorance of the subject, so I apologize in advance. My opinion: A2-A4 is based on various reference images, and I’ve seen what could pass as A1-A2 nozzles on late B or newer D models. (Yes, I know we don't have the D in DCS... cough HB cough). Looking forward to your thoughts! Discuss and enjoy: GoldenWaffles' Realistic F110 Livery Mod null nullnullnullnull
  3. PointCrtl is acting strange when sensing either FCS. Already ran a calibration (failed) Redid firmware. I tried factory resetting. I held set up, tapped reset, and then followed the process. There are no results either. Uninstalled and re-installed. I reseated UBS cables. I tried 5-point steps as well, with no success. Also, the axes are reversed; not sure how to flip/change if possible. I tested facing a monitor and towards a blank wall to check for interference/reflection. Testing facing a blank wall. The results are the same: cursors erratically bounce around the screen. Unable to use the devices. Any help? Does anyone see this or similar? Thanks.
  4. I posted this tongue-in-cheek to "capture" the "nature" of DCS from the player's perspective!
  5. My 14900k is water-cooled, holds in the 40sC heat is not an issue, and GPU is water-cooled as well, in the 40s. I strongly believe it is tied to Nvidia's recent driver.

One thing I haven't done yet, was clear cache (unsure where to look/which cache) Crashes at load into MP server. Either immediate crash or, in the most recent case, flew CAP mission on the MP server, four mig kills, RTB - at touch down, the game crashed. Looking for help. Thank you.
  7. Can someone provide the correct path to install this mod sans using any mod manager? I am trying to find out where to understand the correct directories to put mods in, but there seems to be no consistency between various mods. Some start mid-path, some just list a folder name, and some say, 'put in x directory,' but it doesn't work. Does anyone have a list, a compilation, a link, or something to a scope of directory paths that mods should be installed on? I've seen comments of just using OVGME or a similar mod manager. Still, even after reading/following the directions, mods are not showing/displaying correct textures, etc., as if things will magically work, which is not the case. Thank you.
  8. I don't know where to ask where to look, but what I am looking for is: Written guide (not a video) on configuring OMM for mods. I find posts talking about mods/omm, but I cannot find an actual guide. I guess I am unsure what search references to use other than OMM. Is there a list of 'must have' or common core mods across multiple servers? Thank you.
