The "SET" key function is used to set up the air-to-air radar for a missile mode. For example, if you select an AIM-120 with the HOTAS, you can set up the radar for the bar scan, azimuth scan, range, PRF, and if you look under "DATA" you can set that to the save time for a contact via your radar. Once you do all of that, press "SET" and that will save the settings for the air-to-air radar then you can go back to you normal scanning method until you need it. Say you cancel A/A mode then you have to call up the AIM-120 again, it will go back to those saved settings. There is a YouTube video about this ability:

One problem I noticed with that is when you go to enter the coordinate, by default it only accepts the 2 x 3 format. So if you get an 8 digit coordinate, you can use the precise coordinate function on the DATA WYPT tab in the HSI so you can put all 10 digits in as you stated, or stay in the default mode and only put in 6. There will be times as well when you add the trailing 0 at the end of each segment it might "round". For example for the 9282 sequence if you put in the trailing zero it might round to something like 92819. In some location having the elevation will make or break how easy it is to find the target.

In a YouTube video I was watching this week, someone mentioned the same thing and he made a comment that he thought the pilot might be cold so he turned up the temperature for the pilot and it stopped. If this is so then it is a weird undocumented flex.

Good evening, Like some I have been chasing this for about a day now with the same issues where any sort of cluster munition would not work for the F-15E with the JSOW's just coming out. I also did not work on Mk. 20's, CBU-87/97's as well. I found that I had to delete my JAS39 install. Once I did that a lot of the issue I was having including some I didn't know I had went away. That included issues with static vehicles not placed in the ME as well.
