One problem I noticed with that is when you go to enter the coordinate, by default it only accepts the 2 x 3 format. So if you get an 8 digit coordinate, you can use the precise coordinate function on the DATA WYPT tab in the HSI so you can put all 10 digits in as you stated, or stay in the default mode and only put in 6.
There will be times as well when you add the trailing 0 at the end of each segment it might "round". For example for the 9282 sequence if you put in the trailing zero it might round to something like 92819.
In some location having the elevation will make or break how easy it is to find the target.
