  1. Hey, super you found a solution!!! Unfortunately for me, turning off HT worsen my stuttering, so I let turned ON. Could I ask you your specs in order to try to compare and understand a little bit? I'm pretty sure my problem is related with bottleneck on the CPU.
  2. Hi to everybody, long time without posting. Let me update a bit in order to try to help others. After a lot of time of testing and testing, I’ve quite happy of how DCS is running now, not still perfect, but almost playable. But caution I’m mainly single player user and I don’t know how should be working on MP busy environments with several units. Probably much worst. I’ve finally got a let’s say almost stable FPS and frame rate lines, putting all the possible settings on DCS to its maximum quality allowable. I was almost sure that my problem was related with a CPU bottleneck, and with my settings previous tested both on NCP and DCS trying to get as much FPS as possible I’ve realized that my GPU was sending too much FPS to my CPU that was unable to process. At least is what my poor knowledge understand. Putting all the settings to high quality on NCP and on DCS, makes happy the GPU working to it’s 100% not stressing so much my CPU. I’ve got stables in between 40 to 90 FPS depending on the loaded scenario, depending on the airplane flown, and much more noticeable now, depending on how much closer of terrain I am. But I say again, with quite stable lines of FPS and frame rates. Only random spikes/drops on FPS when maneuvering fast or when moving my TRACKIR abruptly, even when using the mouse. What seems to make a big difference for me is also NVIDIA drivers. All the newest released versions tested had horrible performance for me, rather than the 536.36 which seems the one that likes so much to my specs. After all this tests, I haven’t realized about any relationship of having unofficial mods installed or not. Just to let them know to all of them that suggests to uninstall as a first option to try to solve it. Regarding my 11th gen CPU, any change or setting on CPU cores affinity seems to have any impact or relationship to improve/worsen the problem. Well I hope that at least someone else could take benefit of my reflexions and I’m quite sure that upgrading my CPU, to one of the latest versions will help quite a lot, but this means upgrading MB and RAM as well and for instance my PC box. So a new PC. Let’s wait a bit and meanwhile this will works for the purpose I want and use DCS. please @BIGNEWY take note just to try help others and again thanks for the support. safe flights to everybody
  3. I've opened a ticket directly with ED. That's the unique possible solution that I've finally found. I'll suggest to do the same. As much tickets as they get maybe we will get a solution.
  4. I've finally opened a ticket asking them exactly the same. At least they could inform us about the status or something. We all spent a lot of money in to it!!
  5. Yes I've also disabled the Microsoft Device Association Root, but I can't really tell you if it has helped or not. For now is disabled. Anyway thanks a lot for the tip. To @BIGNEWY for me what it seems to make a really difference on having a serious continous patter of sttutering and just only having few and randowms stutters is: 1) the last nvidia drivers 546.33 versus an older one as the current that I've have installed right now 536.67 2) DLSS on or OFF. All other tips, tricks, settings etc etc seems to has minor impacts and no change at all regarding stutter with my specs. Could you please tell us how is the situation at ED about this stuttering as it is affecting so many users?
  6. Ok Thank you. I'l,l try it It's super strange, and completly random how to someone something could be affecting and to others not. Le'ts hope ED will find a solution soon. For me still random few stutters, much more pronunciated when flying above complex terrains (nevada, sinai etc etc)
  7. Ok, and that's thanks to, do you think? Thanks for sharing Me still small in and out stutterings, very much fewer than previous of SO fixing but still very random for me. Still making tests with DCS settings trying to understand. For now for me it seems that DLSS is on of the majors issues worsening the stuttering.
  8. Hi, and thank you to answer and all the suggestions. Yes I regularly clear all metashaders and fxo folders. Regarding the other suggestions I will try with calm those that I still haven't tried. Make your swap file be fixed in size (e.g. 32GB), on a very fast drive (best is not the same drive as the DCS installation) In Windows, add a "Graphic setting" for DCS.exe (in the MT folder!!!) for "High performance" (note that the default would be "Let Windows decide"). Could you please however explain me a little bit more about those two? not sure exactly what are you talking about. Thanks anyway. Done both of them!! And for now still haven't moved into VR. Thanks also to you
  9. Hi, and happy new year to all!! Find here attached the log, let me know if you have any ideas. dcs.log
  10. This is how is running now. Completely upgraded comparing with the first video. VID20231228204939.mp4
  11. Hi guys, Sorry for late reply, had a lot of work to do. So, after follow this advice, I've moved in to a clean install of windows, discovering some interesting things. I've realized that I've had strange partitions on my SSD NMVe disks due to a windows cloning from one disk to another one that I've made about year and a half ago. It's like the EFI partition of windows remained on the original disk where I've had installed windows, and the new windows location continued on the new disk were I want to place. So I know a big mess, which I was not aware of. So for now, first impressions just after a clean and fresh installation of windows and clean installation also of DCS open beta (only, not stable any more for now), with all the disks rearranged and cleaned of any partitions unnecessary. Some irregular but weak stutter, more weak and much more less constant than before of picks on my FPS line. So for now I could say that my main problem, was solved, however the stutter it's still present. What I don't understand is why it' has worked pretty well before the release of 2.9 an not any more after. Hope that @BIGNEWY and the Ed team could find a solution soon. In fact I've marked your answer as a solution because it has made a very big difference for me, realizing that my system was not in the optimal conditions. I will keep making tests and reinstalling super slowly all my peripherals and hardware as like the software to see if is there is something else interfering. I'll let you know. Anyway thanks a lot for the ideas and suggestions. Very great help.
  12. And still no divorce hahahaha nice. Let's take with a lot of patience then
  13. Hi, Thanks for your answer I'm working right now again in a fresh clean install of windows 11. After that I'll do what you suggest. I'll let you know Thanks again
  14. Ok, nice to know. What kind of system level are you thinking about? Any idea where to I start working with? I'll give a look at mouse usb pooling rate as well. Not done for now. Thanks!!
