  1. Ok, Will try to remove them. However them worked properly untill the above mentioned missions were installed. Thanks!!!
  2. Hello, after downloading and installing some missions I'd flown a while ago, such as Top Gun Final MIG Encounter or Top Gun Last Dogfight, My planes explode or crash into the water as soon as I start the mission on the aircraft carrier. This doesn't only happen in the previously mentioned downloaded missions, but now also in any new mission I create. However, this doesn't happen if you start the mission in flight or over land/airport. It's as if it only happens when you're over water. I've tried performing both a normal and extensive repair of the game, and nothing has changed. I've attached my log file and another one called dcs.old. Excuse me please if this question should go in a different thread. dcs.log dcs.log.old
  3. Yes please @BIGNEWY take in to consideration to suggest to ED. Thanks
  4. Hi, Same here! In my case the bug seems to be related depending on if you choose the 1 screen or 3 screens on Monitors options. With 3 screen monitors option chosen appears the bug. Instead if you choose 1 screen only the bug disappear, and the screens on the airboss station works normally. I've reported to ED. Regards
  5. Hi, Answer from ED open ticket with them reporting same problem. Hope helps others. Quote This happens with flaming cliffs So, the programmers decided to abandon the single FC3 module. Now you have six separate modules (in the case of the old FC3). These modules should be available to you in missions. However, the old FC3 module still requires you to install this. Please do not pay attention to this suggestion, it is impossible to install FC3. I hope the programmers will be able to fix this as soon as possible.
  6. Hi! FierceLV, Just want to let you know that I have also exactly the same problem and in the same situations that you are experiencing. I've tried almost everything, and all the possible suggestions, tricks and solutions provided by users, and devs also after beeing talking with ED with an open ticket during a long long time. They are very kind, but no solution at all. Nothing changed. We are guilty of having a specific specs PC's, or are our Mods, or are our settings wrongly set or configured. That's true that if you change and play with your settings, you can manage to improve a little bit, but come on, on a game where a big percentage of people we have spent an important amount of money on the modules, its not possible that we have to spend time and time testing and playing with all the possible fixes that work for many, but not for many others. Neither we should not never have to learn how to play with P/E cores or cores affinity. Should be a plug and play game, otherwise at least let know the big public that they should be prepared about learning and playing with informatic stuff. But, It's not due to a poor game optimisation. It's always our fault. Well, they will know I hope so, and they sould be working on a future optimisation I hope so too, otherwise I'm not going to spend even a single more euro in this game. Even do I'm like crazy waiting to a solution in order to be able to buy and try the F4, or the new maps release. But not for now with this poor game optimisation. So, let's see. Let me know if you find a better solution. No improvement for me lowering pooling rate from 1000 to 500. Neither other pooling rates settings. Safe flights
  7. I will take a look at what you are pointing, however as I told before, after almost 4 months of testing absolutely everything and all the possible combinations of NCP and DCS settings, these are the settings that gave me the best, highest and flat lines among all the combinations. I'm also thinking about de-sync issues but I don't know how to solve it or how to test and identify it. I think I've tryed also all the possible kind of combinations. I know that my GPU is not good enough, however why then If I lower the settings the problems still continue? Maybe a hardware issue related with the GPU? mmmm, tried as well, locked by NCP and DCS settings, same spikes, no changes. Thats why I left on high settings and not locked, in order to "minimize" the effect when the spike occurs.
  8. Yep, exatly, I'm not on VR.
  9. Hi to all again, Let me update my situation in order to see if someone else could shed light and give more ideas in order to try to fix it definitely or at least try to improve a little bit more my situation. Find attached my settings on DCS as well as in NCP and DXDIAG and DCS.LOG and a small video of how is running right now and the usage of my system while DCS is running. I've got a stable FPS line and Frame Time line but as you can see on the video, It's showing some spikes/sutters from time to time, specially when you face or point to the terrain with the airplane and wen you look sidewars wheater with the trackir or with the cockpit views. If you flight straight and level the line is pretty flat and stable with some randm spikes. Also the stutters appears when you apply sudden control on the joystick. This could be related with the rfresh rate of GPU and monitors? I think I've tried all the possible solutions and ideas thrown on the forums and on intermet about how to try to solve the stutters on 2.9. Let me resume a little bit all the possible settings and solutions tryed and how it was now setted up on my system. ·Hyperthreading ON or OFF: currently is ON, with OFF found worst beahaviour and worst stutters. No difference at all neither on using intel turbo boost technology or not. Just time to load DCS. ·HAGS: Left On. On OFF selection stutters worsen. ·Windows game mode: is ON. On OFF selection stutters worsen. ·All the possible programs related to DCS are selected as exclusions from windows security as suggested several times. (DCS, trackir, saved games, voiceattack, afterburner, nvidia, thrustmaster, absolutely everithing) ·Processlasso: No difference on using it or not using. ·RBAR: enabled throug Nvidia profile inspector. ·MSI util V3: interrupt priority of GPU set to HIGH, no changes at all. ·NCP: all possible combinations tested founding those ones on the attached screenshot the best with more stable lines. ·Core affinity: No change at all, deselecting core 0, core 8, half of the cores and then the otehr half and returning to 100% of the cores. NO change at all with any combination. Strange (should be related with 11th gen CPU maybe, I don't know) ·Energy plan: No change at all, disabling on or off the Energy service. Currently is ON and with max performance selected. ·I've changed RAM from XMP1 and XMP2 and no change at all, now currently setted XMP off with the memory try it setted up to 3600 Mhz to CL18. ·MSI afterburner: No change at all leaving on default stock cores frequencies rather than OC to a higher (tested and stable) settings. For now left it overclocked. ·No difference at all between having unofficial mods installed or not. For now few of them left installed. ·Clean and fresh installation of DCS. No changes same stutter. ·Clean and fresh installation of OS. No changes, same stutter. ·Trackir: up to date and no difference at all using or not using. · Attached MT lua file suggested by BIGNEWY is currently attached on the Saved Files folder. No change at all, left it attached for now. ·And last and for me most significant and strange affecting thing. NVIDIA driver: I've tried all possible combinations of GPU lastest releases of drivers with no improvements at all. The driver that seems to like more to my system and sepcs are the 536.67 version, which strangely is one of the latest provided for an GTX 980 (my first GPU that worked perfectly after the release of DCS 2.9 version. So, said all of this, I'm seriously thinking about a CPU bottleneck, but upgrading my CPU means change MB, and RAM memory and those a PC case cause im currently using a micro-ATX case. So definitely to change an entire PC almost. I'm also thinking about how my monitors could be affecting to all of this. I'm currently running a 60 Hz 1080p monitors. So maybe upgrading to a higher refresh rate monitor could suppose some difference, I don't know. I've also tried changing from response time on the OSD menu of the monitors. From high to medium, to low and to off, with no changes. And of course my medium range GPU could be one of the causes, I know of course, but in theory should be anough for my 1080p set up. But as I've said before, upgrading to a best and newest PC would grant me being safe of suffering stutters? As I've read on the forums, a lot of people with a monster specs and monster PC's aren't free of suffering stutters wheter playing on VR wheter on 2D screens. So its really whorth it? and in that case with which specs that will grant me to not suffer sutters? I'm really disappointed, almost more than 4 months without playing seriously and doing only tests and tests and more tests. I would really continue buying more mods and terrains for my enjoying but for now ED has lost a customer till this will be fixed. So, any more ideas? Please @BIGNEWY @Flappie could you take a look again pleasebg and let me know? Thanks again to all and have safe flights VID20240511123834.mp4 dcs.log DxDiag.txt mt.lua
  10. Hey, super you found a solution!!! Unfortunately for me, turning off HT worsen my stuttering, so I let turned ON. Could I ask you your specs in order to try to compare and understand a little bit? I'm pretty sure my problem is related with bottleneck on the CPU.
  11. Hi to everybody, long time without posting. Let me update a bit in order to try to help others. After a lot of time of testing and testing, I’ve quite happy of how DCS is running now, not still perfect, but almost playable. But caution I’m mainly single player user and I don’t know how should be working on MP busy environments with several units. Probably much worst. I’ve finally got a let’s say almost stable FPS and frame rate lines, putting all the possible settings on DCS to its maximum quality allowable. I was almost sure that my problem was related with a CPU bottleneck, and with my settings previous tested both on NCP and DCS trying to get as much FPS as possible I’ve realized that my GPU was sending too much FPS to my CPU that was unable to process. At least is what my poor knowledge understand. Putting all the settings to high quality on NCP and on DCS, makes happy the GPU working to it’s 100% not stressing so much my CPU. I’ve got stables in between 40 to 90 FPS depending on the loaded scenario, depending on the airplane flown, and much more noticeable now, depending on how much closer of terrain I am. But I say again, with quite stable lines of FPS and frame rates. Only random spikes/drops on FPS when maneuvering fast or when moving my TRACKIR abruptly, even when using the mouse. What seems to make a big difference for me is also NVIDIA drivers. All the newest released versions tested had horrible performance for me, rather than the 536.36 which seems the one that likes so much to my specs. After all this tests, I haven’t realized about any relationship of having unofficial mods installed or not. Just to let them know to all of them that suggests to uninstall as a first option to try to solve it. Regarding my 11th gen CPU, any change or setting on CPU cores affinity seems to have any impact or relationship to improve/worsen the problem. Well I hope that at least someone else could take benefit of my reflexions and I’m quite sure that upgrading my CPU, to one of the latest versions will help quite a lot, but this means upgrading MB and RAM as well and for instance my PC box. So a new PC. Let’s wait a bit and meanwhile this will works for the purpose I want and use DCS. please @BIGNEWY take note just to try help others and again thanks for the support. safe flights to everybody
  12. I've opened a ticket directly with ED. That's the unique possible solution that I've finally found. I'll suggest to do the same. As much tickets as they get maybe we will get a solution.
  13. I've finally opened a ticket asking them exactly the same. At least they could inform us about the status or something. We all spent a lot of money in to it!!
  14. Yes I've also disabled the Microsoft Device Association Root, but I can't really tell you if it has helped or not. For now is disabled. Anyway thanks a lot for the tip. To @BIGNEWY for me what it seems to make a really difference on having a serious continous patter of sttutering and just only having few and randowms stutters is: 1) the last nvidia drivers 546.33 versus an older one as the current that I've have installed right now 536.67 2) DLSS on or OFF. All other tips, tricks, settings etc etc seems to has minor impacts and no change at all regarding stutter with my specs. Could you please tell us how is the situation at ED about this stuttering as it is affecting so many users?
  15. Ok Thank you. I'l,l try it It's super strange, and completly random how to someone something could be affecting and to others not. Le'ts hope ED will find a solution soon. For me still random few stutters, much more pronunciated when flying above complex terrains (nevada, sinai etc etc)
  16. Ok, and that's thanks to, do you think? Thanks for sharing Me still small in and out stutterings, very much fewer than previous of SO fixing but still very random for me. Still making tests with DCS settings trying to understand. For now for me it seems that DLSS is on of the majors issues worsening the stuttering.
  17. Hi, and thank you to answer and all the suggestions. Yes I regularly clear all metashaders and fxo folders. Regarding the other suggestions I will try with calm those that I still haven't tried. Make your swap file be fixed in size (e.g. 32GB), on a very fast drive (best is not the same drive as the DCS installation) In Windows, add a "Graphic setting" for DCS.exe (in the MT folder!!!) for "High performance" (note that the default would be "Let Windows decide"). Could you please however explain me a little bit more about those two? not sure exactly what are you talking about. Thanks anyway. Done both of them!! And for now still haven't moved into VR. Thanks also to you
  18. Hi, and happy new year to all!! Find here attached the log, let me know if you have any ideas. dcs.log
  19. This is how is running now. Completely upgraded comparing with the first video. VID20231228204939.mp4
  20. Hi guys, Sorry for late reply, had a lot of work to do. So, after follow this advice, I've moved in to a clean install of windows, discovering some interesting things. I've realized that I've had strange partitions on my SSD NMVe disks due to a windows cloning from one disk to another one that I've made about year and a half ago. It's like the EFI partition of windows remained on the original disk where I've had installed windows, and the new windows location continued on the new disk were I want to place. So I know a big mess, which I was not aware of. So for now, first impressions just after a clean and fresh installation of windows and clean installation also of DCS open beta (only, not stable any more for now), with all the disks rearranged and cleaned of any partitions unnecessary. Some irregular but weak stutter, more weak and much more less constant than before of picks on my FPS line. So for now I could say that my main problem, was solved, however the stutter it's still present. What I don't understand is why it' has worked pretty well before the release of 2.9 an not any more after. Hope that @BIGNEWY and the Ed team could find a solution soon. In fact I've marked your answer as a solution because it has made a very big difference for me, realizing that my system was not in the optimal conditions. I will keep making tests and reinstalling super slowly all my peripherals and hardware as like the software to see if is there is something else interfering. I'll let you know. Anyway thanks a lot for the ideas and suggestions. Very great help.
  21. And still no divorce hahahaha nice. Let's take with a lot of patience then
  22. Hi, Thanks for your answer I'm working right now again in a fresh clean install of windows 11. After that I'll do what you suggest. I'll let you know Thanks again
  23. Ok, nice to know. What kind of system level are you thinking about? Any idea where to I start working with? I'll give a look at mouse usb pooling rate as well. Not done for now. Thanks!!
