  5. The White Eagles are still looking for folks to join our community and fly one of the most complete, unique, and effective planes in DCS. We can also offer casual training and practice missions for folks who want to try it out! Come see the DCS world from an airframe that doesn't have a 14, 15, 16, or 18 in the name!

  7. Sounds like you'd fit right in! I think AAR is something only a few of us have mastered, hah. I think most of us have all the weapons systems down though, and we love using all the different options during our Sunday missions with the NATOJO group. Feel free to stop by the Discord and say hi, we'll get you set up with the crew and get you hooked in on some casual flights to start. We usually fly public servers together throughout the week and welcome anyone to join us, then we have the big group mission on Sundays. Hope to hear from you!
  8. Greetings DCS pilots! Is the F-16 simply TOO fast? Are the F/A-18 and F-14 too salty and naval? Is the F-15E not cool enough without cruise missiles? Lucky for you, the JF-17 is dreadfully slow, chock full of awesome weapons, and takes off from the ground like the creators in the heavens intended. If the Jeff is your thing and you need someone to fly with, you're in luck! Come fly the JF-17 with the White Eagles, a dedicated squad within the greater NATOJO umbrella that flies this glorious aircraft regularly. We're looking for new members to join our milsim-lite, laid back, and friendly crew of Jeff Enjoyers™. The White Eagles have a varied roster, with pilots from Europe and the US, and we're looking to bring on new pilots that match the crew's atmosphere and the milsim-lite tone. The NATOJO group provides weekly missions or server flyouts, hosts a dedicated Foothold server, has a wide variety of other airframes to cooperate with, and hosts people from all walks of life to chat with about DCS, other sim games, music, and IRL events. Weekly missions are generally part of a hand-crafted campaign, designed to accommodate the wide variety of aircraft within NATOJO in general along with the different roles the JF-17 can undertake (we're actually experimenting with Olympus now, it's fantastic). You'll bring your charm and wit, curiosity, friendly demeanour, and desire to learn and fly one of the most under-appreciated modules in DCS. All new pilots start as guests, but get their squad assignment after just a few missions with the White Eagles! Come and fly with us, learn with us, and wreck anything that dares to fly or drive under the sun with us! Discord - Ask for the Eagles and we'll come greet you! https://discord.gg/aakzUkYuCQ Requirements: 16+ Syria, Caucasus, and Marianas Maps Basic Mods/SRS Good Attitude: Friendly, Curious, and Interested in Being Part of a Great Community

  10. For those who are new/learning, this is only possible if you bring the KG-600 jammer pod with you. The jammer pod can detect the actual physical location of radar signatures and display them fairly accurately on the HSD. If you do not bring the KG-600, the radar signatures on the HSD will display with the default threat ring schema and are not location accurate.
  11. I couldn't reproduce this either. Empty rocket pods jettisoned just fine in a custom SP mission. Seems like a jettison parameter mismatch, but impossible to tell without a trackfile. @stoop were you within jettison parameters? Was your master arm on? Do you have a trackfile so this can be tested? Additional info:
  12. A) As Napillo alluded to, the LD-10 in active mode simply heads towards the SPI, then searches for active radiation sources to target. You can set the SPI via the ground radar, the targeting pod, or via a pre-planned point (WP, SP, or PP). The missile does NOT need the targeting pod outside of setting a SPI , though the original poster seems to be trying to use it for additional targeting use (which may or may not work well depending on whether it can set a SPI beyond 21 miles). @strzelec wyborowytry using LD-10s in active mode WITHOUT using the targeting pod. Bet you get some better results. Active mode absolutely does work without a ground lock in the tpod. Just don't use the pod in the first place. The real bug/test here might be whether the WMD can set a SPI beyond 21 miles. B) This is a bug report forum. Please utilize the guidance found here to actually submit a bug rather than just saying that you think something's wrong. EDIT: for reference, my SEAD/DEAD loadout is two GB-6 SFWs, four LD-10s, and a jammer pod. No targeting pod required. I create WP/SP/PP as needed in the F10 map on known/suspected SAM sites, then confirm their locations with the jammer as required, and launch LD-10s in active mode to those locations. I follow up with GB-6s to clear out ground units.
  13. @Kurdes can confirm your fix for the SD-10 was pushed during this update: However, the PL-5 change was not: @uboats this is what we call an easy win, please include in next update.
  14. @uboats This is still occuring for PL-5s in the new OB, version 2.9.2.49940. Please see attached screenshots. First screenshot is a PL-5 fired from the left wing, the second screenshot is a PL-5 fired from the right wing. So the exhaust effect appears to be offset towards the aircraft just a bit. The SD-10 does appear to be fixed, however.
