  1. Love this sheet for quick reference. My F4U cockpit is super dark even with a good monitor brightness. Any ideas how to fix it? thanks
  2. Actually love the sounds. Probably not accurate but cool. I don’t notice much in a power difference but would welcome a bit more as I also found the Sabre to be a bit underpowered. Either way I love flying that plane and coming from my beloved P51 it is the perfect plane to transition to jets.
  3. Upgraded to an Orion 2 18 throttle and stick this weekend. I fly the F18, Sabre, and my beloved P51. Setting up and mapping the F18 was easy, but cant get the other two planes to recognize the throttle, specifically the throttle portion. All other buttons and switches mapped fine with the Mustang and Sabre. Will i be able to fly the Mustang and Sabre with the Orion 2 throttle?Was using the TM1600 stick throttle and rudder pedals before. Appreciate help as i was hoping I could use the new throttle for all three.
  4. I saw that upgrade on YouTube. I decided to put a new set up together and upgrade to a new throttle in the near future. Messing with the jets now and want more capabilities thanks for the info!
  5. This is my only complaint about the 1600 throttle. Mine is mounted solidly but is jumpy. Going to try some silicon grease and adjustments per mfg. if that doesn’t work I’m going to look for another set up.

  7. Decided to play through BNBOB now that I know my way around the French coast. Problem is I was interrupted mid mission and put it on pause. Accidentally hit quit instead of resume. I had already flown across the channel and lost all progress. Any way to pick up where I left off if this happens again?
  8. Sad part is I died once in a mid air collision in mission 2. Had to bail out near the coast of England early on as well because I couldn’t find the base and ran out of fuel. Other than that I was shot up some but made it back. Couple rough landings as well but none enough to kill me.
  9. Completed the campaign last night. was a blast and really enjoyed the last mission. Got 3 kills A to A kills on that mission for a total of 18, and 11 A to G kills throughout the campaign. Will be purchasing Debden Eagles next. Great job Reflected!!!
  10. I have commented before that the 109 is ridiculous in the hands of AI. I have about 150 flight hours in the P51 now and rarely lose a dogfight to any AI plane except the 109. I have shot a few down in the Normandy 2 map but they are still UFO like most of the time. They seem to pull endless g and climb forever without losing speed. The marksmanship of the AI pilots is also ridiculous in my humble opinion. Also think DCS should model the P51 at its best like 150 octane and include g suit factoring as they have included the very best model of the 109…just some thoughts, still loving this whole sim experience and I will keep practicing until I’m flying my very best P51.
  11. I will disable easy coms and see how it goes. I do have the push to talk mapped to a button on my throttle, will that enable me to talk to my flight or are we basically without coms during the missions. Just trying to figure out how to tell the AI to engage, RTB, and communicate with the tower at Chailey on the way back. Sorry if these are stupid questions but this is my first time playing a campaign like this. Again also want to say I am loving the BNBOD campaign so far and appreciate the support!
  12. Reflected I am currently playing through the campaign. Great job on the missions. One issue is I can’t get my radio to work. I have easy coms on and it does nothing once in the air. Thanks
  13. Agree with your thinking. Only flown against it with Ai flying. Already thought the best way to beat it would be to fly it and see what it does in a humans hands. Will eventually get out on multi player so guess I’ll see there. Still learning the P51 and DCS in general.
  14. True on the fuel as well. Any chance we can get any of the DCS developers to comment or are the warbirds not popular enough anymore to warrant the updates/ and modeled accuracy? New here so apologies if posted in wrong spot.
  15. After playing more I am convinced the 109 k needs to be updated to a realistic plane. Seen too many high g maneuvers I don’t believe possible in the plane if modeled correctly. The Ai version is almost jet like. One other question, does the Mustang include the g suit that came in later in the war or is DCS ignoring this important advantage some Mustang pilots had wearing a g suit. I am playing in the channel map now. Normandy next. Overall loving the DCS experience just very frustrated flying against the Ai 109 k. Have 90 hours of flight time, all in single player mode. Will keep training and learning. As stated before I am doing well against all the FW 190 versions.
  16. Playing for a month now and can beat the A1 190’s a bunch….but the BF 109 kicks my butt. What is the best tactic for fighting these aliens in the P51? Thanks,
