I removed about 30+ aircraft mods from the mods/aircraft folder in saved games. I did NOT remove the A-4E-C, C-17_Globemaster_III, Civil Aircraft Mod, and Military Aircraft Mod. I also removed the entire contents of the mods/tech folder in saved games. I then ran a Repair Build from the DCS Launcher. Not the best solution, I guess, in terms of the mods I no longer have available in game, but everything is working properly now.

I am using a lot of mods. I wonder if this problem is due to a specific mod(s).

I hope that made sense. I must have a setting problem or something. When I build a mission using the mission editor and then run the mission I have built, I can't see the ground vehicles I have placed in the mission. This happens for vehicles that are both on road and off road. I know I'm doing something wrong. Any advice you can share would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Never mind. Silly me. I found it. It came with the latest update. I think.

I second the motion. There should have been more Israeli F-4 skins from day one. There are way too many Turkey and Egypt skins in my opinion.

Sorry guys, a quick follow up. I tried the second method under special where I checked the remove refueling probe box and made sure to save the setting. I then went to the mission editor and made a test mission with the JF-17 where I wasn't the pilot. When I ran the mission, the refueling probe was still there. Do I have to be the actual pilot for this option to work?

Need help. I looked in what I think people are calling the "unit card" for the JF-17 I have placed on the map in the mission editor, and I can't find anywhere to remove the refueling probe. I know it is possible because I see screenshots of the JF-17 without a refueling probe. Any assistance is appreciated.

I would definitely contact Heatblur Customer Support again. Sending it from Poland to Germany should be maybe a couple of days at the most.

My apologies. I didn't realize you had to buy FC3 2024. I simply thought it was a free upgrade. I can now see and fly all FC3 aircraft. Allis well.

Update. I emptied my saved games/mods/aircraft & tech folders and I no longer have a black screen when flying in-game. Not sure why the aircraft and tech mods I had installed would have given me a black screen when flying in-game after installation of the new patch released today. I also had to re-adjust my settings to the higher and extreme levels I am used to running as many of them had been reduced to "low". I still have the problem of FC3 aircraft not being authorized. When I went into the list of installed modules, FC3 was shown as available, so I checked the box and reinstalled it, or so I thought, but when I came back into the game, FC3 was shown as still being available for installation and I still got the message about the FC3 aircraft not being authorized. Can someone give me some help with this? Thanks.

After installing the latest patch (released on 7/11/2024), once I actually launch the game (fly), the screen is black. This is true on all of the maps I have tried so far - Afghanistan, Caucasus, Marianas. I tried doing a repair, but it didn't fix the problem. Also, most of the individual aircraft in FC3 are now no longer authorized in the game. Please help!

I apologize in advance if this is a dumb question. I thought I remembered seeing something about being able to change the pilot's facial features. I think I saw this a while before release. Is there any substance to this? Is it already functional and I just missed it?

If the delay is only until tomorrow, I guess I can live with that. But to publish an actual release date only to delay it yet again is getting hard to take in stride. I think I am now developing a form of PTSD regarding the Phanton release. In the scope of life, this is a minor irritant, but it is an irritant all the same.

And Santa Claus is about to come down the chimney. Can't wait.

I guess this question would most likely be targeted at any beta testers or anyone using a pre-release version of the F-4. I'm currently using the Thrustmaster T16000M joystick and a Thrustmaster TWCS throttle. I'm sure that any profiles for other joysticks, throttles, etc would be most appreciated by everyone as well.
