  1. I did everything I could! The developers will decide on this, it took 15 years for the existence of the R-27EP rocket to be recognized! As things change, I still play! I drew attention to these things, how the value of REDFOR decreases! They could do something about it, but they don't want to! Maybe in 5 years we will have faulty rocket motors in DCS World because they will also simulate that it can fail! It is also necessary that all Soviet engines fail all the time so that NATO fans can play more comfortably! I will be the victim who sacrifices himself so that things will go in a better direction! I respect all ED developers and I'm grateful to be here and to have created the best simulator in the world! I don't comment on the forum anymore because I think it's unfair that we Flanker fans are ignored! Goodbye, good future to all Flanker fans! Postscript: Don't hate me because I criticize everything! The DCS World community is not only made up of NATO fans!
  2. The FC series is based on fantasy, if you start to include real documents about what the original can do, it usually means that you have to delete all the things that made it playable from the FC3 product! Sit in the MiG 29S and play without Datalink on an online server. MiG 29 was playable with that datalink, we could say a long time ago that this datalink is better than Lazur, so we enjoy it, we love it and that's what made it good. Now that the Datalink was taken from him, the entire MiG-29 family was completely killed. You have to accept that you pay to suffer. Then when the fully clickable MiG-29 cockpit comes, spend 60 dollars to get back what was taken! It might be a good deal for ED, but not for us. You may have been here on this forum for a while, so everything is new to you, but unfortunately, not all veteran users are as brave as I am to ask questions on this forum. https://youtu.be/k0s59b6YXf4?si=yWHXRHH99YyC4YoP You can see what the MiG-29 was like when it was still playable with datalink! Since then, this has been taken away and you fly blindly into the face of the enemy, who is free to do whatever he wants with you if you cannot detect him with the radar! The datalink served to prevent you from being completely blind! In this video, even the size of the HUD was fine, nowadays if you lock a target with the radar you have to put your head in the HUD to see the target in the hoop on the HUD!
  3. Six years ago, every J-11A enthusiast learned that the original J-11A is equipped with the N001VE radar. The problem arises from the fact that the F-15C radar in DCS World appears weaker than in reality, which immediately calls for enhancement to increase its detection and tracking range. When it comes to Russian products, they seem to be depicted as weaker, or perhaps they shouldn't even be included in DCS World. It seems like everything in this simulator caters to NATO enthusiasts, leaving us Flanker enthusiasts feeling marginalized. Additionally, the radar systems of the FC3 MiG-29A and the MiG-29S differ significantly in reality. However, in DCS World, both radars detect an F-16 with only a ±5 km difference at a height of 1750 meters above water, where there shouldn't be any interference affecting the radar. In reality, the MiG-29S radar has a 20 km greater detection range than the MiG-29A! I'm sorry, but these issues bother me because since 2009, since the release of Lock On, Flaming Cliffs 2, and Flaming Cliffs 3, I have been flying with the Flanker, and I can see that more and more features are being taken away from the FC3 product line. The R-27ER and R-27ET missiles are also examples of this. In 2020, they had a greater maximum range! It's difficult to stay silent and watch as everything that fights against NATO aircraft is weakened! 6 years have passed since 2018, and it's as unlikely for the J-11A to have a stronger radar as it is for the F-15C. We don't need new modes introduced. The same situation applies to the MiG-29A and the MiG-29S, the MiG-29S has a 20 km greater detection range than the MiG-29A. Nobody is asking for immediate corrections based on top secret military documents, we just want to see that this difference exists in the game. Because this is how it should be credible because here in DCS World, simulation is being promoted! I don't understand why every problem requires submitting a ticket or creating a replay, this should be fixed by the developers because it has been faulty for years! Ensuring the popularity of the FC3 product brings more money to ED! It also secures the future because while I may be brave enough to write this, others may simply leave DCS World and play elsewhere. I too left DCS World for 2 years because they weakened the R-27 missile family in 2020! You can see in the two images what it was like in 2020, now, in 2024, it's 100 km! The answer is that you don't have to play this game, we are here because we like what ED gives us! Criticism is good because it makes everything better. If you close your eyes, nothing will change! These are pictures taken in 2020! Now, if I sweat blood, I can't go more than 100 km to a MiG-31 target flying at 3000 km/h head on! Regarding the MiG-29S radar! N019M Topaz is an updated version, developed as a response to the compromise of the N-019 radar by a US spy. Tested from 1986, it entered limited production in 1991. Slightly lighter than the N-019 at 350kg. Topaz has increased ECM resistance, new software, and a more advanced built-in monitoring system. A new Ts101M computer eliminates the processor overload problems of the N019, more than doubling capacity to 400,000 operations per second whilst weighing less, just 19kg, and with doubled MTBF of 1000h compared to the 500h of the Ts100. N019M allows two targets to be engaged by active radar homing missiles simultaneously. Range increased slightly to 80km. Originally intended to be fitted to the existing MiG-29 fleet as an upgrade, about 22 aircraft with N019M are thought to have entered service with the VVS. It is likely that this is the Export version that is in DCS World because it is a WEAKENED version compared to the original N019M Topaz! N019ME Topaz Export version of Topaz, slightly downgraded. All Indian MiG-29s have been upgraded to this standard. These things should be clarified!
  4. A couple of interesting things about the R-27P! Date Posted: 28-Apr-2004 JANE'S DEFENCE WEEKLY - MAY 05, 2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Russia releases passive 'Alamo' for export Robert Hewson Editor, Jane's Air-Launched Weapons London The Russian authorities have made a significant shift in their arms export policies by approving foreign sales of the Vympel R-27P air-to-air missile (AAM). The R-27P (Pasivnaya) is fitted with Avtomatika's 9B-1032 (PRGS-27) anti-radiation seeker, which homes in on other airborne radars. It is one of three basic versions of the R-27 (AA-10 'Alamo') developed in the early 1980s. Until now the R-27P has been fielded only by the Russian, and probably Ukrainian, air forces. It is part of the baseline weapon set for the MiG-29 and Su-27/Su-30 fighter families. Despite several reports to the contrary, Russia has not yet supplied the R-27P to foreign users. During the recent FIDAE 2004 exhibition in Santiago, Vympel confirmed to JDW that it has now been given permission to offer the R-27P on the export market for the first time. Despite its age, the R-27P is a radical and effective beyond-visual-range (BVR) air-to-air weapon with no Western parallels. For decades, Soviet (now Russian) missile engineers have produced passive BVR AAMs that allowed their fighters to make undetected stealthy missile attacks. There is already an infra-red-guided version of the weapon - the R-27T - and the R-27P is an extension of this capability. The R-27P's seeker was designed to be modular and interchangeable with the RVV-AE/R-77 (AA-12 'Adder') active-radar AAM. Vympel's designers discovered that the R-27E (Energitisheskaya) variant, the so-called 'Long Alamo' with its larger rocket motor, had superior ballistic performance to the R-77 and, therefore, more straight-line range. As a result, an R-27EP has been developed, but there is no passive R-77 yet. Export versions of the R-27P variants are designated R-27P1 and R-27EP1. According to Vympel, the R-27P's 9B-1032 seeker has an effective range of 200km: this significantly outreaches the 110km maximum range of the R-27E missile. Vympel is considering further improvements to the missile design but says it will still not match the capability of the seeker. The preferred solution would be a ramjet-powered R-77. Such a concept has been studied and the basic missile design was tested in the late 1980s, but since then there has been no funding to take this weapon further.
  5. The Developers should know best, because they make a real MiG 29 with all secrets! I found this 50 km HUD mode on the internet in 5 minutes!
  6. Thanks for all the answers, I appreciate the time the developers spent on my questions. It's better if I let this question go, because the discussion goes to a level it shouldn't go to! I have published some interesting pictures here on the forum, I hope this helps the development of DCS World. Thank you again for your time and patience! Sincerely, a very enthusiastic Flanker fan!
  7. If you didn't know, I was talking about the PL-12 missile when I wrote this, not the J-11A. But let's not go into what the J-11A can do, because the real J-11A has a stronger radar in reality than what is simulated here in DCS World!
  8. R-27T not R-27ER and not R-27ET! Let's not include these other two rockets in the conversation because then I will reveal more mistakes! The R27 missile family suffers from such errors that the developers are only informed by export documents. It is well known that Soviet and Russian export weapons are always WEAKER because this is how Russia protects itself from being attacked. No country gives another country weapons of equal strength. Another example is that China made an SD-10 version of its PL-12 missile, which has a shorter range of 30 km and does not sell the PL-12 missile to anyone for money! No one can still show secret Russian or Soviet weapon information on the forum. The Su-27SK document is an export document, just like the MiG 29B document is an export document, and the MiG-29B is the weakest sensor and weapons MiG-29 ever built. That's why I don't think it's right to build on what the real MiG-29A can do, which has more powerful sensors and can use more combat modes.
  9. Any missile can be launched at any time, I can overwrite the launch command at any time on these two images, but it will not hit the target, then the non-maneuvering launch distance and the no escepe zone launch distance will not change either. That's right, missiles with an infrared head are limited by the heat seeker, but if the heat seeker doesn't see the target, what we see on the HUD remains the same! The described question concerns why the R-27T has a shorter range. I can't go higher than that, and if I launch a MiG 31 in front of me, which flies at 3000 km/h, it won't even reach 87 km!
  10. I would like to help you with these 2 pictures! The maximum range is 250 km, and if the engine of the 2 missiles under the R-33 is the same, then the R-33 is also incorrectly simulated and therefore its maximum range is reduced from 160 km to 100 km! If the maximum range of the KH 58 is 250 km, then the R-33 missile can also be believed, which is 160 km, not 100 km! Another thing I don't understand, unfortunately I only found information for the R-27T. The maximum launch distance on the data sheet is 87 km, and about 62 km within the game. I just want to clarify why? I found a missile named R-33E which is an Export missile WEAKENED. Here it can be pointed out that almost all Soviet weapons are adapted from export documents, which are usually weakened versions of Soviet and Russian weapons!
  11. In this picture, the maximum height from which the KH-29T can be launched is 5 km! The problem is that when we look at the data of export products, as is well known, the export products are always WEAKER compared to the original Russian products! Maybe that's why the range of the R-27ER and R-33 was reduced in DCS World because they were made from export documents! Here is an original KH 29T description! 10 km maximum height from which the rocket can be launched! Высота пуска, км 0,2-10 Дальность стрельбы, км 3-12 Launch altitude, km 0.2-10 Firing range, km 3-12
  12. MiG 29 HUD view launching an R-27ER missile at a drone target! Youtube link!
  13. The solution to the problem is to play better, learn more, try more things! You search for Head On targets at a high (HI) radar repetition frequency setting, in which case the radar's performance is the strongest so that you can search for and attack the Head On targets! If you decide to attack a target and want to destroy it, as soon as you reach a distance of 40 km from the target in air combat, then at a distance of 40 km you press the radar repeat frequency change button twice, in this case ILV (High and Medium frequency alternating repeat frequency) will be the radar. This is the point to be in this radar mode at a distance of 40 km and below, where the EO operation is automatic. In this case, if the attacked target performs a beam maneuver, the EO will protect you from losing track of the target. You can be an even more professional pilot and after you lock the target with the radar, immediately after that manually turn on the OLS by pressing the O button to allow all your sensors to follow the attacked target and eliminate any possibility of losing the target! It would be very good if the developers would care a little about the FC3 product, and all members of the Flanker and Fulcrum family would work in such a way that the EO operation would be automatic even in HI and MED and ILV modes.
  14. Thanks for your patience and help!
  15. I don't argue with the developers anymore because this is a game software in which you have to use the values set by the developers! The R-27ER used to be able to do 130 km, now it is 100 km, but I ask why the N001 radar can detect bomber-sized targets from 200+ km completely unnecessarily! I know information from other places, but the problem is that until you have a secret document that they make public, they will never take you seriously! I ask why the N001 radar sees bomber-sized targets 200+ km away? So let's say: Max launch distance for R-27R( R1 export ) is 60kms in stratosphere for big incoming air target. Max possible launch distance with max launch parameters V max 2.2 Mach and H max 16kms for MiG-29 is 90kms . For R-27ER it is more then 150kms when launched from Su-27S ( V max 2.2 Mach and H max 18kms ) Simple! The Su 27, the N001, and the R-27ER are secret, so they must be set so that they don't violate the law, if that's the case, nobody cares! I just want a PL-12 missile, which I have already proven in many ways that everyone would only benefit from it if it happened!
