Hi… this would be a very weird thing if a simualtion is regarding this bit not all the other things worth to be simulated. but…wouldnt supprise me o the other hand. maybe, there is less satellite coverage if they simulated the 80s that good. :))) i felt the Apache hovering very sliggy, like someone kicking your stick

I am not sure if to be adressed to ED or the Map producer but having legslly available 1:100k maps in the nav displays, especially for helos, navigation and combat organisation would be great. we usr MGRA grids but have no MGRS maps in the cockpit

Hi. Great map and nice VR performance so wfar. Well done. i know it is not MSFS but if you start editing sightseeing places add “deutsches Eck” in Koblenz, “Festung Ehrenbreitstein” in Koblenz. and especially add the huge Highway bridge of highwazy 61 just west of Koblenz over the River Mosel. Important feature for low level flying. thanks for your work

Hello is this the same in the real Apaches? When I edit the frequency via the Com-Man page, that it changes the active instead of the standby? doesnt make sense to me. In our real life Garmins it works changibg the standby so you dont loose what you are using right now and you can prepare for the next frequency

MOZA force feedback base AB9 How to get started?
Kutscha replied to hannibal's topic in Input Devices
I had the same not sure if it was on the same day but suddenly my simshaker didnt work as well as the base connection. next day all fine. But I am still trying to figure out the best setup for helicopters. Pressing the force trim release in the Apache results in a little nose up pitching after releasing the button in the new position. And sometimes, I have feedback of gunfire, sometimes not -
Sorry, my one. The Virpil Alpha. But the NMH16 does not have any axis to slew around a cursor? just single directions on all the hats? Meaning all buttons?
-
Yes it does. The Grip/Axis switch on the top left is working fine with the Virpil Base. But not with the Moza. After complaining wit the Moza support they said, this function is not yet supported by the Moza software.

Hello if I connect the grpund crew with ground power I would suggest (from my pilots experience) that I ca start the engines witout using the onboard APU. Is this correct? Butthis does not work power supply top the systems will brake down on idle without APU but Ground power supplied. It only keeps the systems working in throttles to flight. An is there no indication in the cockpit about a plugged in external power supply like the GPU? THX

Somebody using a Virpil Grip or the Moza MH16on the Moza Base? My slewing chinese hat is not working in the axis, just the center button. Moza says, this feature is not supported on the Virpil Stick, not mentioned on the website. I am wondering now if someone found a solution and if using the MH16 Grip, if here all functions are working properly including slewing axis hats THX

Hi. I got my AB9 Base about 5 weeks ago. the Base itself is nice and heavy, but not heavy enoough to be used with a longer stick extension without being screwed to somewhat. the regukar short stick directly attahed to it as in most jets should work. Concerning compability: They say it is compatible with the Virpil stick. you can select the Virpil Alpha Grip in the moza software, but the slweing/chinese hat axis is not working, Mails and mails with Moza they are telling me the slweing hat is not supported yet. So keep this in mind when ordering, only buttons work right now, not the axis switches on the base. If somebody is using the MH16 Stick with the base, let me know about slewing axis buttons on this stick

So adjusting RPM is done by indirectly switching screens on and off?! i got what you mean. Thanks. The chance of a double engine fail is so rare anyhow. But if, strange they dont blend it in the IHADSS automatically

Hi guys. studying all your posts and looking through the real flight manual of the AH, I am still wondering how I should be able to maintain Rotor RPM in Limits without having an indication. as a Pilot (OH-58, Huey, BK117, H145) there was always an indication of NR. Thats your live saver beside speed and height indications during AR. I could just manage to simulate AR with NR indication taking throttles to just above idle so MPDs are working. the Helo remains perfectly controllable during AR in DCS. Collective lowering ASAP to maintain NR, keep trim and gain speed of 70-100kts. but no NR indication leads me thinking of missing features in the DCS model. What say the real AH pilots? thx Oh. And any solution for this: you can touch down hard during AR and the Helo remains fine. touching down as silk and level at an FARP leaves it bouncing around on ground and tilting to the side braki g of the stab if you dont pay attention ??

Cursor functions won't bind, cursor press does
Kutscha replied to Airwolf466's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
Hi i went to setup, controls, CPG, and then collective and also tried LHG, selected cursor left/right/up/ down, virpil collective column and the moved the cursor hat on my collective but no reaction, just when I push down the hat as cursor/enter. In Virpil all the axis of the cursor hat are recognized, but not in dcs did you do any settings for this in the Virpil desktop software? maybe you could post or PN me screenshots of your setting? -

Hi I use the Virpil AH64 collective. The same. In the desktops Virpil Setup programm all works fine, but no reaction in DCS under the control settings or in came touching/slewing the cursor hat. Just Pressing it works (Btn 18) Virpil Support doesnt know either. They asked me to change the Unit ID in the desktops setup software to something else 4-digit. Don´t know if this is possible with winwing, VKC, Thrustmaster and Co. I am not at home and cannot try, but let me know if it works for you guys please
