  1. i can imagine this being used by trolls.. Player A doesnt like player B (who flies alone in his F14). Player A jumps into Rio seat, shuts down relevant systems and switches back to his one-seater
  2. well, why not? I have a mission where the A10 is flying long distances over the water, as the coast and inland is covered with SAMs. It would be good if I could air refuel without the KC135 but use a tanker thats nearby, based on a carrier.
  3. Hi, i had a few ideas. Not sure how hard it is to implement, but here I go: - make a "debug" function for mission creators (so i know, why a unit was triggered to intercept something or whatever or like in my last mission, where a helicopter did not land on a carrier as planned, but flew half way back to its land base, even if the distance was only 30nm and it should have enough fuel for that) - for tanker training: show a text that tells me why the tanker wont connect (sometimes i am really spot on and nothing happens and i have no idea why) - make it possible for a ship to follow another ship.. like all the actions that air units can have on other air units.. - make it possible to save multiplayer missions so i can continue with my friend at a later time at the same spot - make it possible to have static objects neutral (i had a static c5 that was constantly shot by some russian tank and could only stop it by placing the tank behind 2 buildings) - give the possibility to alter the factions after you created the mission already. I know, there is a mod for this, but it renames all my triggers and waypoints - add an American submarine - add ability to limit ship weapons (so for example, i only want it to have the machine gun anti air, but no rockets that shoot a target on 200nm) - add ability so enemy units communicate with each other.. for example i have some SAM site and they see me, they should communicate to other enemy forces (like a SU-33), that i am nearby. The link should be set manually, so you can control which units communicate with each other, so the whole mission doesnt get screwed - let the S-3 also have a probe and not only a basket.. for the A-10 - add subcategories for random system failure (like i want it random, but only part of the radio equipment for example) - make cockpit reflect light from thunderstorm

  5. tonight, i had a dream. Release will be on April 3rd. There will be a technical issue that needs to be fixed before release.
  6. have some problems.. cannot get it to run.. 12:51:01 - (awaiting additional input) 12:51:01 - Recognized : 'ATC request engine start' (contains 'atc') if voiceattack recognizes what i say, it usually just brings that up. Nothing happens (no matter which PTT key i use). Another example: 12:56:28 - TX6 | AUX: [ ATC ],[ ],[ ] Request Engines Start [ ] [ ] 12:56:28 - Recognized : 'request startup' (also used all PTT keys here and nothing happens) Also what is this chatter thing? i bought that as well and have it enabled. When i press 0, this comes up: 12:54:33 - Shortcut : '*Chatter*' but nothing happens. /edit: it now all works.. i just removed the export.lua and restarted VA as mentioned in the FAQ.
  7. Hi, i wanna create a mission for a friend and me. We both use VR glasses and we cannot wear them longer than an hour or so (afterwards, you get headache). I have a mission now, but it would probably take 3 hours to complete. So i was wondering if i can use campaign builder to "split" a mission into 3 parts and then save the loadout and everything to the next mission. Or if there is the possiblity to just save a mission state somehow in multiplayer
  8. Okay so i tried it out, but for some reason, this nice tool disables my mouse ingame. So i cannot click anything in the menu anymore. I am using a Thrustmaster Hotas + Rudder + Lenovo Explorer, but I dont think its connected to that

  12. lots of pages on this thread.. so if i create a multiplayer mission with this carrier, will it also work for people in the session who do not own the f14?
  13. found out that it works. It was my mistake.. is it however possible to not mirror the output on my main screen? I was wondering if this takes away performance.
  14. Hi, i got DCS World Steam Edition up and running, but my Nevada wont work of course. It was purchased from the ED Webshop and runs only with the standalone version. My Lenovo Explorer however doesnt. When i start the standalone version, i only see a 2D window on that windows reality portal crap. Anyone got those glasses running correctly with the Lenovo Explorer and the standalone version?
