Moin, wie kann man denn die Außenansicht F2 und Cockpit F1 auf die Hotas Tasten legen? Wenn ich diese korrekt zuweise, passiert einfach nichts wenn ich auf die Tasten drücke. Weiterhin nur über Tastatur möglich. Alle Tasten an dem Hotas funktionieren und lassen sich sonst auch überall korrekt zuweisen. Gibt es da einen Trick? Danke!

Yes the sand/dust is pretty fine like pouder sugar, its everywhere. Still today its on my combat boots from back in the day breathing was also very nice with all that <profanity> in the air our contingents were 4-6 month. but yes US Forces are different level. 1 year, imagine doing service in kandahar or helmand... big respect. wish you all the best Melvyn

Hello Pappy, yes thank you i made it safe home but 2009 was very difficult time in the area of kunduz, so we had many operations outside the camp and near police station chahar dareh. But as difficult it was i dont want to miss this time in my life, im glad to made that experience. I was 24 in my time there, now almost 40 time flies. I was shortly after you over there, jul - nov. i look forward to the northern region of the dcs afghanistan map would be cool to create some missions in the kunduz area which i experienced myself the tools are already there Marder Tank, TPZ, US Forces etc. Man thats something very cool for me that you also have a picture of the Black Hawk!!! Haha im speechless Thank you very much! In 2009 my camera was not so high resolution, your pictures are far better. Danke für die Hinweise. Wenn ich in den VR Einstellungen die Maus Funktion wieder aktiviere dann funktioniert es, darf nur nicht gegen die Maus kommen damit das Fadenkreuz sich nicht verstellt. Am Hotas sind dann linke rechte Maustaste belegt, kann nahezu alles bedienen und das Fadenkreuz verschwindet nach einigen Sekunden wieder. Aber ich denke mal ich werde mir auch so ein PointCTRL holen, oder diese Slugmouse die hier angeboten wird. Die ganz hinteren Bereiche links und rechts im Cockpit sind relativ schwierig nur mit der Kopfbewegung zu erreichen, ich denke mit so einem Fingercursor ist das angenehmer. Das Pimax Handtracking habe ich getestet, aber das ist ja leider noch eine Katastrophe also man kann schon Schalter bedienen aber sehr fummelig.

Hi, ist es möglich generell Torpedos zu nutzen? Ich habe das bis jetzt nur bei der JU88 AI gesehen. Dachte mir das wäre mit dem Mosquito vielleicht möglich, aber anscheinend nicht.

Ich habe das soweit hinbekommen mit dem VR cursor in der Mitte, funktioniert auch gut, nur kann ich den nicht ausblenden. LAlt + C ist ja normalerweise das Keybinding, wenn ich das auf den HOTAS setze, oder egal wohin, kann ich den Cursor trotzdem nicht ausblenden. Selbst wenn ich das Keybinding lösche und nur auf den HOTAS setze funktioniert es nicht und obwohl das Keybinding gelöscht ist, funktioniert trotzdem noch LAlt + C. Und zwar ausschließlich nur. Gibts dazu eine Lösung?

Ich bin auch neu in DCS mit einem ähnlichen Setup. Dein ganzes Setup ist doch schon ziemlich ordentlich, fang doch gleich mit den vollen Modulen an. Die Schalter die ich nicht belegt habe, klicke ich direkt im Cockpit mit Maus, klappt wunderbar. Die für mich nötigen Tasten und Achsen habe ich dann am Stick oder HOTAS belegt, ich habe da bis jetzt keine Probleme mir das blind zu ertasten, das setzt sich schnell im Kopf fest. Für die Crystal habe ich auch das Handtracking Modul, muss mich damit aber noch beschäftigen, glaube aber das braucht noch Zeit.

Hi very cool pictures you have. I was also 2009 in Afghanistan (Kunduz RC North) in the German Army. I want to share two pictures i made during my time there : don´t know which unit this was but it was used by US Special Forces ODA during my time. (edited but hey its funny, i spy this "varsity7" unit logo with #354 on my picture of the CH47!! ) same number as yours chinook. complete crazy if its the same chinook. Picture was taken on 12.09.2009 and this on the blackhawk : we used the CH53 mainly. We were very impressed to enjoy the blackhawk and chinook. very exiting day i will ever remember.
