While the failure of my throttle is a royal pain in the six, I'm fairly confident that the issue will be resolved. There have been atleast 4000 of these units produced and it seems a small number have a problem even knowing this I would still buy what is a damned good product. @funkyjazz, Just keep watching this space mate. When we get the answers from TM, they'll be posted here. My issue seems to be firmware related and i'm hoping that when France finishes it's new years celebrations I'll get the files and instructions to solve the problem.

So.... Would it be worthwhile re installing the USB drivers etc? The thing that really gets me is that the stick ( so far ) is flawless. So why can Tm get that so right but build what seems to be less than sturdy. Go figure.....

Hi Guys. Thanks very much for all your help.... unfortunately no joy here. Followed the above instructions and all I had happen was that the lights went out! Still not recognised by my system. Incase your wondering, I did try it on another box with out success...... Have emailed TM to see what they can come up with. Curious side issue. To make sure I got it right, I tried the AP button on the throttle as opposed to the ap dis/eng button on the throttle base. This combo brought the post lights back on.... Still no joy. Happy New Years!!

Well, I've just joined the ever growing "Dead Throttle Society" and am not (as you can guess) happy about it! I've had my TM Hog for a little over a month and like most, It has worked without a problem until this morning. I have updated firmware when that was releasd. But mine still has it's lights on just no one's home. Tried different usb port. Still no joy.

Mtech advised that the Hogs arrived in Oz yesterday and that the TM distributers would have them in their warehouses today/Friday and be shipped same day..... come to papa

Well after waiting.... and frigging WAITING only to find out today that their original ETA of mid November has become early December! I cancelled my order with the FlightStore and ordered through MTech Computers with an ETA AT MY DOOR of next week. All in all while the UK price looked great, the freight was 70 quid so the price we're paying here pretty well ends up the same.... MAN this thing better be as good as everyone's sayin it is!! TOTAL cost will be $580.

VAT might be removed but do you think you wont pay any GST? I've imported Sporting equipment in the past at what I thought was at a great price only to find that I was slugged with import taxes. I'm not trying to be a smart arse, I'm just suggesting you may want to be careful. <s

Hmm. I did the sums on that and INCUDING the 1-3 Fedex charge of 49 quid the total cost per unit was $608! Too steep for this little black duck. I'll wait for it to lob in Oz.

Hi Gentlemen, I purchased a legitimate copy of "Flamming Cliffs" 9th April 05 via Pay Pal receipt no.5443-1903-1497-4752 and have just recently built a new PC and ofcause Star Force isn't allowing me to use it. i did try to activate the product but the web site tells me tha tmy FC serial no isn't on their data base...What the? Is there any way to obtain a new serial no or product code or whatever i need to use the software that I bought or do I need to buy another copy? Friend or Foe I locked up an aircraft taking off from home plate in EOS. Went to cannon mode to check if bogey was friend or foe. I did NOT get the usual "F" for friendly and fired... only to find I had killed a team mate. Can any one else confirm same problem? Cheers Ziggmeister

Hi ALL! S> I would like to say thanks to ED for all their hard work to TRY (yer, I believe they ARE trying their best to get this candle lit!) and get FC in the air. I also find it amazing (and I've seen this a few times now) that every time there's a new patch/addon in the pipe line that some of the community stops flying and joins in this form mass hysteria and flamming (never mind the cliffs!) I think we forget how frigging good LOMAC is and some of us are hanging out for the improvements that will come with FC But lets just get out there and enjoy!! So can I suggest we ALL give ED and the moderators a break. HUH!? GOOD flying Gentlemen S>
