  1. I also tested using a FFB stick. So the issue isn’t specific to CD REL, as you’re technically not required to trim with a FFB stick. I’ll get her straight & level, then let go of the stick (as it’s a FFB, the stick stays in the exact same position it’s been left in) & she’ll begin to climb. So it happens after trimming with CD REL, and it also occurs using a FFB stick without trimming using CD REL.
  2. Not just you, however I'm very surprised nobody else has brought this up. This affects everybody who flies the Chinook in my virtual squadron. Force trim worked beautifully when ED introduced LCT & DASH on update 2.9.9.2280, and we could finally fly her straight and level. However, after update 2.9.11.4686 when ED introduced CD REL (replacing force trim), this is where this bug was introduced. You get her flying straight and level, press the CD REL button, release then she begins immediately gaining altitude rather than remaining straight and level how she did after 2.9.9.2280. It's very annoying.
  3. Apologies to revive an older thread, but I’ve been looking for feedback regarding a modded TM Warthog stick as a cyclic. Is there any stiction when pushing/pulling the stick diagonally? I’ve used both WinWing & Virpil sticks springless with dampers, but both have terrible stiction, making small movements all but impossible (I’ve applied Nyogel & it made almost no difference).
  4. This worked perfectly for me. I’m back to flying her hands off again. Thank you for the solution.
  5. Unless it’s just me, but this latest patch appears to have introduced a bug, I no longer have the option to trim. Trim reset is still available, but trim has completely disappeared. LCT finally gave us virtual pilots the ability fly hands off the cyclic. But this patch has removed that privilege.
  6. This is definitely an issue, that’s not VRS related. I’ve tested this repeatedly, when coming down to land (landing from a higher altitude, and slowly hovering to the floor) the power will fluctuate erratically. As an example, I’ll be at roughly zero airspeed, approximately 400ft or so in the air, then I’ll slowly begin reducing power, keeping a keen eye on the VSI, then boom, she’ll drop like a rock! If you’re successful in saving her from smashing into the ground, she’ll literally shoot into the air like a rocket. I can easily perform the above manoeuvre in the Huey, Hip and Hind etc. but the Chinook makes it ‘extremely’ difficult.
