Well, two weeks of silence it's nothing, a lot of company doesn't say a word on their products until the release. Ask Bill about the next Windows ;)

I strongly disagree with you, they have no obligation to tell us what's happening. We are free to buy their products, (or not). We must accept the fact that they are not willing to share everything with us. There are (a few) competitors out there, so they need to take care at what they are saying and what they are publicly releasing. We should be gratful toward them to let us try some betas. BTW, they never said that we could have the release candidate. Be patient! Go play outside in the snow, it's sunny out there today and it's only minus 3 celcius :)

Cooool! :) ED don't have to worry about pc spec, they need to create the best effects they can, As I said, we are all updating our computer one day. It will only keep their engine last more longer (in time). For exemple, when microsft released FSX, almost no one was able to play with it at the best quality. Today, they are still able to sell that sim because it still has stunning graphics. So ED gang, don't worry too much about PC spec. and:thumbup: for your work.

It will only make you lower the screen resolution, and the quality effect unless it make you buy a new video card.(or processor and RAM). I don't care to upgrade my PC to be able to play that sim. I'll update it sooner or later anyways. What I want is to feel the most possible, if I was sat in that plane. If you cannot afford an upgrade to your pc, hmm, well, do some overtime at work. :P

EF2000, was a really great sim, but, I'm sure that the graphics was better of what I found on youtube. I don't have that game anymore, :( so I cannot look if it's what I remember of it. Anyways, A10-C is the best of all for now, and graphics are really good. only airport need to be brought to life. (animated visible ground crew)

I don't think that people will play more IL-2. Playing Red Baron(1990 PC) style game is outdated IMHO. So if IL-2 has more sells, it will only because of the marketing.

Is it normal that in the "Defend camp yankee" mission there's an A10-C flying through some buildings. In real life, can they really do that :D Does the beta 6 will fix this?

Keep hope because they are doing their module with what they had done for their contracts. If I understand what I read. So, if they have done a module of the kc-135 to help military students learning it, there's some hope to have general public version of it. + doing a module does not require them to reprogram everything. They don't need to rebuild a 3D engine, or the maps. They only need to build the aircraft, unless they want to improve their 3d engine and maps. So we still have hope to have one of these beast (C-130, KC-135) and in my dream I saw a B-2

To EvilBivol-1 or anybody else from the ED team, please take note that even if we are talking about everything in here we are still here to heard news about the beta6 update. It's just a way to kill time while we are waiting (for me), between eating, looking for an update, reading about the CDU, looking for an update, programming that damn sudoku game, looking for an update working, etc, etc... So, as soon as you have some news, even the slightest one like that you have added visible animated ground crew (in the beta6) rearming and refueling the aircraft :music_whistling: let us know. As you may know, here in Canada, the 2 official language is english and french. But, in the province of :puke:quebec, the bill 101 define the french language as the only official language. How far it can go : - If you are born here in quebec and your parents are tagged as french (Tax Return, education, where they are born) you cannot study in english until the college "CEGEP" (between Secondary school and University). And few months ago there has been talk to add the college in this too. So, imagine you are living in a french world during 17 years and then try to complete the most important part of your education in english and we must keep in mind that public schools have a poor english course. All of this to discourage people to speak in english. - French radio channel (from here, and almost all) if they are speaking in french (for news, report, annoncing songs) they cannot broadcast more than 35% of english songs :cry: (have you ever heard french songs :crazy: ) I only have 3 radio station available Free over the air. CBC, the buzz (Burlington) and virgin radio. :cry: This is only some example, but believe me, it's becoming crazy. Two weeks ago, I heard at the radio that one of the main political party here, find that there is too much people still talking in english (Parti quebecois) and if they are elected next time I don't want to think what they gonna do. Listen to that bitc* who is the chief of their party. How well she speak in english.
