  1. This. With wings folded, NWS HI is a toggle. With wings unfolded, you must hold down NWS to enable NWS HI.

Just to add to this you can also maintain NWS High with the wings 'Unlocked' they don't have to be folded, you just need to pop the handle out of its locked position and you will stay in NWS High.

  2. Depends on how long another few weeks is. There are many that have pre-paid and would like to see a return on their "investment".

I can almost 100% guarantee you that I was one of the first 5 people to buy the module AND I've actually bought it twice (one for me and one for the 104th Server just in case).

Although I wouldn't throw a party, I'd happily wait another few months rather than weeks if it meant the release was to an acceptable level on Multiplayer.

  3. Would this ever be possible for future?

The current implementation has a fantastic engine running sound that matches the real jet perfectly however its missing the iconic spool down sound when the pilot goes idle after a vertical landing.

I understand its probably one of those 'easier said than done' things to add in to the game however Im sure it would blow the Harrier community away to have this feature added in.

  4. I'd rather wait longer and have it working to an acceptable level than have some kind of horrific only works in Single Player type of release.

Take your time ED, we can wait another few weeks while she's in dry dock getting the final touches!

  5. How is the start up procedure going to be handled? will the server be paused and everyone allowed to get in their acft...then unpause and then immediately spool up and go... thanks

Everyone will get to start their engines after joining their aircraft, you will have to remain on the ground until the Takeoff instruction is given then the event officially starts.

  6. On the ME map you see a little blue circle and red circle, this is Bullseye for Blue and Red sides.

So in your example picture you could drag the blue circle on the map over your Harrier WP1 if you wanted that waypoint to be Bullseye, then you would select WP1 from that drop down menu to tell the aircraft that WP1 is Bullseye for the mission, or you could set it up as WP2 or any other waypoint.

Its always a good idea to make sure you actually drag the Blue or Red Circles over the Waypoints you want to use as Bullseye tho, if you do not do this the AWACS will give picture calls from the wrong location as these picture calls are always given from where the Blue or Red Circle is on the Map, not what WP you have selected as BZ in the Harrier itself.

    Hope all that makes sense.

  7. Massive congratulations to TAW, winning BOTH leagues, what a way to climb up the ladder guys!

Its been great watching your journey from new comers in DCS to THE Squadron to beat in DCS!

Enjoy the taste of victory, well done again

  8. Dbestinfla, why do you try to derail a bug report? .

Thats like saying "hey my aircraft doesn't fly underwater, I know its not supposed to do that but it flies in the air so it should be able to fly under the water"

As someone mentioned before its a RUSSIAN aircraft, use it with the RUSSIAN aircraft carrier and you won't have any issues.

The devs have more important things to do with their time than cater to improbable fantasies and I for one see this a massive waste of their time!

  9. Yes, it is actually TolovaY. In my language it is written with an J.

Tolovaj in my language is the one who attacks, robs or kills people; a robber, a worthless, inferior man, an uneasy, well-mannered man, especially a child.

Sweet Jesus I'm sorry brother lol!

I'll remember from now on that its TolovaY ;)

  10. This is a known bug that has already been submitted to the dev team.

It also happens when ever you spawn HOT on the carrier, take off and recover. Once you have landed back on the carrier all the CATS will not work apart from CAT3, which will throw you off the ship when you try to connect.

Hopefully a fix will be out soon.

  11. Just want to yolo in and say I have no issues with the Hornet radar at all.

I stay in TWS for the entire flight and have zero issues acquiring the target Im looking for, even inside of 10nm. It totally baffles me that people are still flying around in RWS and using LTWS to engage enemy aircraft... why would you do this?

Use TWS like a real man and all your problems will be solved :D

I also have zero problems with any of the ACM modes, but I don't see them as some magic tool that will instantly find the guy Im looking for. I get that AACQ is still WIP and that can be frustrating but tbh the only ACM modes you really need in the Hornet is HACQ and LHAQ.

As long as your SA isn't total mince then you should always know roughly where your target is and using the HMD to acquire him is childs play easy.

No disrespect to anyone who actually is struggling with it but to me its obvious you just don't know how to use it properly. If it was as terrible as some of you make out, I would have noticed by now.

I'm certainly not invincible but everytime I fly the Hornet I shoot people in the face, and I fly against some of the best PvP pilots in the community from lots of very talented Squadrons from around the world, so I refuse to believe that the radar is as hopeless as some of you make out.

Cold hard truth... if you you think the radar flat out sucks.. you are not using it properly.

  12. Gotcha so there’s no accountability that makes me feel much better. Lol our entire update and roadmap for delivery doesn’t matter because everything’s subject to change. Why even have updates then??

I’m in the wrong line of work TBH, I wish I could tell sh*t like that to my customers. When I miss “estimates” I usually loose money. But if and when That happens at the very least I gotta call them up and talk to them. So Where’s heatblur?

Have you ever thought to consider that there are things out of Heatblurs control that affect these deadlines being missed?

Its very easy to sit behind a keyboard as an outsider who knows nothing about how this game is developed and point fingers after deadlines are missed but what you don't understand is that these guys are a 3rd party working with a core system that is beyond their control.

They also can't come out everytime something changes in the core architecture of DCS to explain to you that its causing delays. Be patient like everyone else and let them do their jobs!
