Great to see the release! Looking forward to playing it. Best thing about this type of campaign is that each time the player plays them, they can be different. Flaming Sunrise is great too. Now how about one for the Kola map? It's a tremendous amount of work I know, but one can always hope. -
They did ok in my campaign, but again, it's only two aircraft per flight. That's not many even if they are Hornets. That's why it's important to stack the deck in your favor with multiple flights doing the most important task of a mission.

One of the basic keys to winning the campaign is that the player should take the most important task of a mission. Leave the AI flights to the supporting roles. Also, a mindset change from the usual dcs air quake/me against the world one is needed. You're part of a team working together to accomplish an objective. Per irl, have overwhelming power at the point of the mission. Don't dilute your resources on multi-tasking missions, one flight doing this, one doing that, etc.. That just increases the chance that none will be successful. I.e., If cas is needed, have at least three flights doing it. Same for any other mission. It's only two aircraft per flight.

The most underrated campaign on the site. Highly recommended.

The campaign is very winnable. I recently completed it in ten missions with little difficulty.

I too have noticed trying to do the countermeasures programming in the jet is a mess. Nothing I set in the manual 1 slot saves, the game just releases the default setting regardless. Used to work as it should until one of the recent updates.

I'm a long time F4/BMS player, so the mission planning aspect isn't new (and something sorely needed in dcs). -

Finished Flaming Sunrise with a victory in ten missions. Good stuff, thanks again. -

Eagerly looking forward to this. Flaming Sunrise seems to be vastly under appreciated. Really like the improvements you did compared to Pontus. The planning aspect is great and easily done, and something sorely needed in dcs campaigns. Head and shoulders above the scripted ones. Seems that most dcs players prefer an "instant action, air quake" experience so maybe that explains why Sunrise isn't on the radar as much. -

I've been enjoying Flaming Sunrise lately. Outstanding work, thanks for the effort. Really like the planning, etc. aspect, much more enjoyable than the scripted campaigns. I'd like to make something like this myself, when does the instruction manual come out, ha! -
