Confused by Mission 1 offset info.

Ok thanks. Where was the elevation info. hidden at? -
Ok, thanks for the help.

I have tried it three times and each time the flir is nowhere near the target. But are you saying it is best to designate the "stock" waypoint 6 lat/long and not input the coordinates listed in the kneeboards? Each time I've tried is via the kneeboard info.

Mission 4 problem. I input the lat/long mentioned for Golf in the kneeboards and nothing is there via the flir. Searched all around with the flir, nothing to be seen. Way point is designated a target steer point. Flir contrast, etc. adjusted. Only mod installed is tacview. I see plenty of ground and roads, but no buildings, etc. of any kind anywhere for miles around. Ideas? Broken in an update? Edit: The lat/long info. in the briefing sheet for Golf is wrong, by a large distance. Very frustrating. I got these from a flir of a youtube video of the mission and they are correct N 35 14 19 E 39 19 06 Elevation 1306 The briefing lists N 35 34 17 E 39 19 05 No elevation given.

Yes, as the currently released version is not worth using with its minimal features.

discussion Mission 4 - GBU-12 in CCIP (spoiler alert)

Agreed, so many of the various campaigns have a mission or more this way. Make something completely unrealistic just to (I guess) make it harder and/or more "fun and exciting". Frustrating is more accurate. One of my favorites calls for a laser guided bomb delivery.......................with a dense cloud layer at 10k feet forcing the player below it where they get riddled by shorads and aaa. -
The info. given is 75 and 10. Which is bearing and which is range? And in terms of the range, is it in miles, meters, or feet? I also did input the grid info. but there is nothing there or even close by. Hmmm......looking at another thread here where users had problems with this mission, the given grid coordinates are different. I am given NQ 90932665 (nothing there) and in the other thread they are NQ 9049 2476!?! Confusing (yes, I'm entering them with zeroes for precise) EDIT: The second set of the coordinates are correct. Inputting them, I easily found the targets. Strange that the given ones when I ran it are wrong. The only mod being used is Tacview.

Anyone else have this problem? After update the flir on with the Hornet tanks my fps. I used to get steady 90+, now in the same night bombing mission it drops to single digits with the flir on. CPU utilization is much higher too. Unplayable as is.

1. Burying info. in patch notes is no replacement for the standard windows prompt. There is no excuse for it. 2. I'm fully aware of the date of this thread. Fine, that still is no excuse for the standard windows prompt for a reboot not being available. I have had other programs install the same at various times. None have ever not given a notice while doing so. Perhaps they logically did so as to avoid customer confusion, threads like this, etc. eh? There's a lesson in there for you ED, though since you already said you wouldn't do it again after the first example in this thread, but did again anyway, I guess it wasn't learned then either.
