  1. No problem, thanks for looking into it.
  2. Yes, tried skipping the problem mission but the next had the same result. Maybe I'll try a campaign re-install at some point. I know you're busy so if you don't have time to test, don't worry about it. It's probably something on my end anyway.
  3. Been thinking this over more, as I still have the problem. Since I've done the campaign before, I chose the "skip" option for the training mission; the one before actual mission #1. Could doing this be a possible cause of this problem?
  4. See attached shots. Cloudy sky looks like this everywhere. Same with the water textures at sea level. Day time looks correct. This is from the Persian Gulf map. All game settings are the same as before the update, no mods applied, FHO and metashaders folders deleted. Ideas? Unplayable as is.
  5. In my case, there was never even an sa-11 indication on the rwr let alone a launch warning.
  6. Had the same thing happen to me recently but with an sa-11.
  7. Sounds good, thanks again. Must just be some strange dcsism on my end. When I get a chance, I'll just restart it and see what happens. That's one of the great things about these campaigns; unlike the scripted ones, they can be different each time. Well done! That carrier fleet shot at the end is a nice touch, eh?
  8. Correct; second mission after the training one. Yes, I am using the deck crew. I did the first time I did the campaign too.
  9. Ok, thanks for looking at it. I tried it three times before posting about it, all with the same result. I'll give your second idea a try and if that doesn't work, I'll try a campaign restart and see what happens.
  10. Trying this campaign again and on this mission, the other Devil flights do not take off from the carrier. My wingman does take off. Latest update applied, no mods applied. This problem did not exist on a prior playthrough of the campaign, pre-latest updates. This is the second mission in the campaign. First one worked correctly. Tasking: Player: OCA on Siri AB. Devil 2: Bravo CAP Devil 3: Bravo SEAD Devil 4: OCA on Bandar Lengeh Devil 5: CAS at India
  11. Best sp campaigns available for dcs imo.
  12. Guess which will happen first.
  13. Great to see the release! Looking forward to playing it. Best thing about this type of campaign is that each time the player plays them, they can be different. Flaming Sunrise is great too. Now how about one for the Kola map? It's a tremendous amount of work I know, but one can always hope.
  14. They did ok in my campaign, but again, it's only two aircraft per flight. That's not many even if they are Hornets. That's why it's important to stack the deck in your favor with multiple flights doing the most important task of a mission.
  15. One of the basic keys to winning the campaign is that the player should take the most important task of a mission. Leave the AI flights to the supporting roles. Also, a mindset change from the usual dcs air quake/me against the world one is needed. You're part of a team working together to accomplish an objective. Per irl, have overwhelming power at the point of the mission. Don't dilute your resources on multi-tasking missions, one flight doing this, one doing that, etc.. That just increases the chance that none will be successful. I.e., If cas is needed, have at least three flights doing it. Same for any other mission. It's only two aircraft per flight.
