  1. Okay, so I got a success this time. I shot down 6 bombers between myself and my wingman and I made sure that all - or at least most - missiles hit the base. What I didn't realize was that I needed to say "winchester" to AWACS. That's what started the dialogue for me to land at the nearby airstrip. So it's possible on my previous attempts if I had just said "winchester" I could have got the remaining dialogue and succeeded.
  2. Sadly - or more like thankfully - it hasn't happened again, so no luck recreating. Ahh right, still familiarizing myself with the virpil gear, I just upgraded. Definitely not wake turbulence. Only other plane around was my wingman 0.7nm off my wing and back a bit. I suspect you might be right with the random bad luck of gremlins.
  3. I did see that maybe 4 or so missiles did reach the base. I just happened to open the map as they were hitting. I have a track, but it's too large to upload and I don't have a screenshot of the results. I managed to gun two right off the bat, then use two sidewinders, and then for the ones that got a little further away I used my two AMRAAMs. My wingman got 4 with sidewinders and AMRAAMS. Though, on that run I turned off fuel consumption so I could RTB faster because I was tired of doing it again (my fault and an input control bug on previous attempts), so that probably helped with my ability to get 9 kills. I'll try again with fuel consumption on and only gun if I can easily get in range. See if I get fewer kills and prompt the dialogue. If I don't get the dialogue I will post the results, but I assume the track file will be too large to upload again. Regardless I'll try again and post the results that I can. Appreciate the input! Cheers!
  4. Is there a way to edit the track files so I can just include the segment when I was having issues? No double inputs. I'm unfamiliar with the term "pot spike". I'm assuming it's relating to a potentiometer, but what is it and how would I check for it? Cheers!
  5. Hi, just going to revive this thread since I am having a similar issue. I managed to shoot down 9 of the bombers with my wingman and land at the airstrip next to Anderssen but it still isn't a mission pass. I'm also not getting any dialogue after the missiles launch. The best I can get is a draw. I've attempted a few times now since I landed at Anderssen the first time and had a bug with my flight control surfaces another time. I thought for sure this time the mission would be a pass, but no luck. Cheers!
  6. Yeah, I had already checked that as well, just forgot to mention it. Just double checked to be sure, and nothing is incorrectly bound. Cheers!
  7. Hey Everyone, I've seen a few posts about this problem, but none of them have helped me. I'm fairly new to DCS and the F-16C and I'm not really sure what happened. I was doing mission 2 of the Dragon's Fury campaign for the second time (First time I landed at Anderson when I wasn't supposed to) and after completing the mission objective I was on autopilot towards waypoint 4 and I decided to accelerate time to get there a little quicker (tired of doing it again). A few seconds into the time acceleration my plane went into a spin diving towards the ground. I took control back, but I could not get full control. There was random full rudder and continuous full aileron both to the left. I turned on pitot probe heat since I saw a few posts about that (even though I was in a warm environment) and deployed landing gear. The landing gear seemed to help the rudder a little bit, but not the constant roll. I also could not trim it out. My stick was calibrated and DCS was not showing any input on any axis in the axis tuner. I could see the rudder pedals moving occasionally in the cockpit. I managed to touch down, but then lost control on the runway and crashed. The track file is just over the size limit, so it is not attached. After the mission ended I hopped into a free flight and no issues were present. This makes me think I did something when using time acceleration, but I can't figure it out. I thought maybe I mis-clicked a command on the keyboard when blindly reaching for ctrl+z with my VR headset on. Is there any sort of command that messes with the flight control surfaces? Watching the track with the inputs showing I can see the rudder going from neutral to full left repeatedly, but yet in the axis tuner it was not moving at all. Does time acceleration cause weird things to happen in game like it does watching tracks? I am playing in VR and using a Thrustmaster Warthog throttle and a Virpil WarBRD base with a Virpil MongoosT-50 CM2 stick. I don't yet have rudder pedals (saving up) and I am using the slider on the Warthog throttle to control rudder. I have only been using it on the ground. I'm currently on version 2.9.16.10973 of DCS. Cheers, thanks for any help/suggestions.
