  1. Thanks for the reply mmaruda, I've been flying in DCS A10C and FC2 but will give it a go.Cheers,
  2. Hello, I just installed DCS World and could fly the Su25. The A10C wouldn't allow me to use JS or KB or my MFDs. All I've altered is headtracking fileshttp://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1448435&postcount=68 Now I can't even control the Su25. Am I missing something really obvious? I have the axis mapped in the game controls. Apologies for posting this before- think I posted in wrong section.
  3. Thanks Turbohog, I followed the steps and now have the headtracker column in game settings, however still no movement. I'm trying it out on the A10C
  4. Hi again, I seem to be creating a lot of problems at the moment. I installed DCS world and couldnt get facetracknoir working using jacksos method: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1448435&postcount=68 and also unable to use x52pro, mfds and keyboard with A10C in DCS world. So I went back to FC2 and ive lost facetracknoir there too. Is there a reason why installing DCS world would balls up Facetrack in Lockon? I'm assuming it's not going to work in A10C stand alone either. Any help on this would be great. Edit- I've managed to get it working again in FC2- the shortcut commands had been altered. If anyone knows why the mfds/x52 pro wouldnt work "out the box" in DCS world would be handy to know. I havent touched anything in the game settings menu yet
  5. Actually there's a bit more to it than that as my MFD's don't work, or keyboard functions (except Esc). Couple that with not being able to get facetrack working, maybe I'll stick with the standalone for time being
  6. Doh! it would seem I'm back to square one as I've installed DCS World and although I can fly the Su25, I am getting no control at all with the A10. I tried the A10 profile I use in the standalone and also tried with a blank profile.. Hmm..
  7. Hi, is there a way to get facetracknoir running with DCS world yet?
  8. Hi Bob, I recently got facetracknoir working on A 10C and found a good how to on setting all the curves and deadzone %. It was on this forum I'm fairly certain. Try knocking the EWMA filtering up as well, Should ease the shaking. Sorry GhostDog, can't help you there..
  9. Thanks for all your help. will tidy up the other controllers tomorrow. Night!
  10. some odd things such as the air brakes deploying what seems randomly and when I deploy the flaps there's a click but nothing happens. Thanks for your help on this, will try and fill in the gaps.
  11. Hi cichlidfan, I can get the profile loaded into the Saitek software. I copied the .lua file into the joystick folders in the save games folders, for the a 10. I then loaded the profile in the actual game, first clearing the x52 column and then loading the .lua of Tom's. Ah- I just made sure that I loaded the .lua that i replaced in the joystick folder and now the buttons do seem to be working on the x52 pro in game, well most of them! some still don't seem to beB quite in the right place! I'll have another play and see if they are working,,
  12. Hello, I've tried Tom's .lua but to no avail. I read a thread where you helped someone else with a similar problem and tried deleting the config files but with no luck. Struggling to think what else now. I haven't had any profiles work so far..
  13. Thanks Jack, will take a look over there. Hopefully something straightforward i'm missing
  14. Hello I picked up an X52 pro the other day and have not had any luck getting it to work in DCS a10c, besides the axis. I've tried Tom Weiss' http://www.lockonfiles.com/index.php/blog/12/entry-106-x-52pro-a-10c-tutorial-part-1/ and followed instructions. I have cleared the X52 pro settings in game and then reloaded profile. I've also cleared the config settings in the saved games folder. Any help would be great. Is there a step by step walkthrough of installing/loading x52 pro profiles anywhere? Thanks,
  15. Ican't get past the part where you have to programme the number of flares, but there you go- it is beta! Had some other problems with the tutorials, especially the air to air training.
  16. If they bring what they did to BF2 then we're in for something very special.
  17. Hi I gave this mod a go but I got some odd things, which I posted over on lockonfiles but wondered if anyone here could help? Here's a link over to my post (at the bottom there with some pictures of the problem (odd textures on the windshield of the grey-painted a10.) http://www.lockonfiles.com/index.php/topic/33302-a10-f15c-su27-extended-version-21-release/page__pid__292438#entry292438 thankyou for any assistance on this one! Regards,
  18. works a charm in w7- let me know if you get it working in LOMAC/DCS! I think perhaps it's time though I traded in my old Zboard for a logitech G series
  19. Thanks very much for the pointers- will have a browse tomorrow as past my bedtime! :music_whistling: Here's the link to HIDmacros which I used in FSX, very straightforward to use using simconnect. http://www.hidmacros.eu/ I must admit, after browsing the forum and seeing the MFPs, I think I may as well get them up and running and see what keys are left over! Thanks, Fred
  20. Hi Cali, thanks for the rapid reply. That sounds like a good way of going about it! With FSX I managed to use two old keyboards which could be recognised as independent keyboard using this HIDmacro software so that a "d" stroke on one keyboard did not create the same event as the "d" stroke on the other. Hope that makes sense! Anything that makes remembering buttons/controls in game is good. All the best, Fred
  21. Hello! New here so just wanted to say hi. Was wondering if anyone could kill my curiosity- can FC2 run more than one keyboard using something similar to HID-macros which I've used for a while in FSX? The reason is I would like to use the extra keyboards to layout more functions/switches with just the press of a button. Another thing I was pondering was how would I get my 2nd monitor involved in FC2 in any role? Thanks very much and Happy New Year! Fred
