  1. ok, landing at SAKI can be performed on tarmac. thanks.
  2. thanks for clarifying that. another question: How will race control judge a touch-and-go or landing as "normal". Is landing on the runway mandatory or is a touch-and-go/landing on taxiway/tarmac allowed? For my part I'd prefer takeoff, touch-and-go and landing mandatory on runways...
  3. No, not at all a stupid question! What is the definition of "crash" in this competition? The word crash as an event in the mission debriefing? Or just visible damages on the aircraft? we can't see external views... :noexpression: So from my point of view the answer should be: "crash" is only a crash if it is listed in the mission debriefing.
  4. ...with math? my calculation says 3.17 for the quali (40 minutes for the full race BTW) add some human characteristics and you come to 3.25 - 3.30 @Joker No, there's nothing wrong - you just fly almost perfectly! :smilewink:
  5. you're not the only I think...:D :joystick:
  6. :music_whistling: thanks for sharing your time. Winning time with SU-27 will be faster than 3:50, my estimation. my best time after a couple of runs: 4:07 (don't ask! I won't tell how I did it.:P) :pilotfly: good luck to everyone :D
  7. Aerobatic server It's not on the poll list. But THE aerobatic server definitely is VAT Berkuts server  Please read carefully the infos about schedule, rules, Ventrilo and RazClient before joining: http://www.berkuts.ru/forum/showthread.php?t=61 Installing Ventrilo 2.3 and RazClient is highly recommended.
  8. thanks OldCrow, good to hear that.:D Shaggy: check PM
  9. thanks for the fast reply. sorry i don't msn. The Turkish Stars fly the NF-5A. But now I know what i wanted to know.... So if changing the model is no option, we are not interested. Thanks.
  10. Great works! As I can see in the first post, you intend to make swiss air force skins. And if I don't misunderstand, you will do paintings for an aerobatic team. The only team I know that flies the F-5E is our Patrouille Suisse. Do you know that you have not the correct model of the swiss F-5E? The tail fin has no flat end on top and the shark-nose is much more flat, not that round. If you need more information, PM me. As I intend to start a new virtual Patrouille Suisse we might be your next customers...:smilewink:
  11. wow, finally! i love the gripen, maybe our air force will buy some of them in the near future. :D
  12. Don't worry. All streaming-video files should be available next week.
  13. maybe it's only the fact that videoing in a 40+°C and totally overcrowded exhibition room isn't that easy... i preferred watching the real Ka-50 :D and by the way: the sibirian corona was my favourite
  14. ehhm, yes he did.... FOX, you mixed up First Heaven Squadron with the Patrouille Suisse Virtuelle... These are two different squadrons. PSV means Patrouille Suisse Virtuelle, but Lordryte, Celere, Pignal and Foxtrot are FHS pilots... But it's a great video. Thanks. PSV @ VFAT2006: PSV#1: Airone PSV#2: jp PSV#3: ray PSV#4: hug PSV#5: CRASH PSV#6: manu
  15. to take the level down to the audience ;) (not that I dislike the directors discussions...) it's a great movie and I appreciate the work. and it was a lot of work of course. I'm awaiting the full movie, even if some video-genius don't like some technique you use. thanks for the teaser
  16. Thanks to Mr. Gates.. My cockpit track of the PSV display has gone to nirwana.:sad_2: the "MS06-071: Sicherheitsupdate für Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0" rebooted my PC just seconds after i hit the "save track" button. and i thought, that the "never install windows updates without asking" option should work as promised...:ranting:
  17. google says: 96 flares... (32x3) http://www.tayyareci.com/rus-ucaklari/f15su27.asp http://www.aeronautics.ru/archive/vvs/su27-01.htm http://www.faqs.org/docs/air/avsu27.html ...
  18. in other words: the pythagoras thing...;) with a 19" WS you will lose 2.1" in height compared to a 19" regular. (look at pixel amount) vertical distance between two lines (in the cockpit view)will decrease, the picture looks smaller or more far away. 19"WS 16:9 = 16.5" x 9.3" native resolution: 1440x900 pixels 19"reg 4:3 = 15.2" x 11.4" native resolution: 1280x1024 pixels If you want a WS and you expect a increase of FOV with the same quality compared to your old regular screen then you have to go up at least 3" (eg. old 17" reg; new 20" WS) I have the Samsung SyncMaster 204B (20", 1600x1200, 5ms) and I can recommend it for simulation/gaming.
  19. Give him my space, I don't need it....;)
  20. I had the DXRenderer.dll problem too. I reinstalled LockOn from scratch and it didn't help. My problem was very simple. I didn't uninstall old graphics drivers properly.:poster_oops: Drivercleaner Pro helped. http://www.drivercleaner.net/
  21. "Only Grolsch" ??? just tell me ONE german beer, that has at least 50% of Grolsch's taste...:harhar: sorry, no beer-war. but i prefer dutch beer, it's simply more "lekker" than german "yellow water with bubbles" :drunk: cheers
  22. Hi Bublik I've been testing it for some days. It works perfectly for me. Well done! Is there some further work in progress? If you need more specified feedback, feel free to PM me.
  23. you'd better ask at the german LockOn Forum http://www.lockonforum.de dort werden sie geholfen.;)
  24. BTW: check spelling of the header of your page... (Internet Explorer)
