In my case it worked and I was able to run the Update-App and after that to download a profile to the cougar.

...und noch mein Senf zu der Festplatte. Wenn's im Budget liegt, besorg dir einen PC mit M.2 SSD. Ich schwör seit 4 Jahren auf die Dinger und sie sind wirklich sauschnell. Das merkst du vorallem beim Laden einer Mission. Und natürlich auch beim Hochfahren des PC. Die 970 EVO von Samsung gibts ja nun auch schon als 2TB Version. Kostet halt nen Groschen...

Hoi Coyote Dann wäre es doch Zeit sich dem Swiss Community-Flight anzuschliessen. Das war ein toller abend am Mittwoch. 24 Flugzeuge in Grossformation. Melde dich sonst mal bei Silvio/Drunky bei den swiss dcs guys. Ich komme ursprünglich aus dem Emmental und lebe zur Zeit in der Region Reinach AG / Sursee LU. Arbeite in Dintikon und bin gelegentlich beruflich in Mägenwil unterwegs...

Da gibt es sicher viele... Wenn die neue SSD eine Samsung ist, hast du das Samsung Data Migration Tool. Absolut narrensicher. Da kannst du auch auf eine externe Festplatte zwischenspeichern, falls ich mich richtig erinnere.

LesWelschStaffel (Server ist fast immer online) es gibt vermutlich noch mehr, aber die kenne ich nicht Öffentliche Veranstaltungen gab und wird es noch viele geben: In der Deutschschweiz am Flightsim Weekend in Hergiswil und am Air and Space Day im VH Luzern. Heute abend findet der erste Swiss Community Flight für Staffelmitglieder statt (nicht öffentlich). Ich denke daraus wird aber vermutlich noch mehr entstehen. Z.B. ein Treffpunkt auch für interessierte Nichtmitglieder.

Die Fuss-Auflage respektive Pedale mit Gestängen und Schnellverschlüssen am Stuhl, resp. den Seitenpanels verbinden, dann ist es eine Einheit, die mit wenig Aufwand fixiert werden kann. Schöne Lösung! :thumbup:

yes, of course. but what command is required? most modules have the generic FlamingCliffs Command "T" for smoke. but in DCS: F/A-18C there is no such command. If it was possible to edit some files, in which file would this command be written? to put the white smoke pods into the FA-18C.lua was easy, but where do I have to go now to turn them on in flight?

how would you turn on an off the smoke pod if it was mounted on the hornet? is this a DCS feature or programmed individually for every aircraft module?

Just for clarification: Swiss Air Force does NOT have squadron skins for each aircraft of the squadron. Each and every aircraft has the same general Swiss Air Force skin as shown in the picture of CH-SubZero in this thread, and is operated by all three squadrons as required. No aircraft has "his" homebase or "his" pilot. For example: J-5008 is flown this week by squadron 11 pilots at Meiringen airbase. Next week this same aircraft will be flown by squadron 17 pilots at Payerne airbase. BUT: there are 3 special skins for 3 Hornets. According to their tail number they have squadron paintings. These are J-5011 for the Fliegerstaffel 11 in Meiringen, J-5017 for the Fliegerstaffel 17 in Payerne and J-5018 for Fliegerstaffel 18 in Payerne.
