This may be a little bug in SimShaker for Aviators. Could you please report it to this thread https://forum.dcs.world/topic/147495-official-simshaker-for-aviators/
I'm not a guy who develops SimShaker for Aviators. It's by f4l0.
I develop SimShaker Wings, SimShaker Wheels and SimShaker Sound Module software.-

Yes
Maybe somehow it's not detected in SimShaker for Aviators...
Please check in the log box are there any commands with p1_14_0_1 sample name when you move the canopy

Now I'm not sure when it started working again (it wasn't working at all when I started). But I was basing my feedback on not feeling the canopy effects. Now I'm seeing there are no canopy feedback effects in the F-15c. I felt the engines start and the flaps (which don't work until the engines are running).
I think I didn't realize the canopy wasn't doing anything before because I don't usually close it until after I've started one of the engines.
Can you feel the canopy feedback effect when you test it right in the Sound Module?

Please disable Vebose Logging in the Sound Module settings as it's not neded anymore but may affect performance.

Looks good. If you enable Vebose Logging in the Sound Module settings, can you see any commands from SimShaker for Aviators incoming?

Looks good. What if you hit the Test Vibe Motors button?

Good news. Please check in the Sound Module setting that the Blank location preset is not selected by chance.

Sound module isn't working in DCS today. It was working last night.
Already restarted my computer, and DCS and SimShaker Aviators a few times.
Sound module connects fine to my ButtKickers (the test buttons work). But no tactile feedback in DCS today. Not sure where to poke around for troubleshooting.
Please check if you can see any numbers in the SimShaker for Aviators -> View -> DCS Debug window during the mission.

Just dropping a line to say how GOOD this is with ButtKicker!
I was using the Hapticonnect software that came with my ButtKicker Gamer Plus, and it “worked” with DCS, but just felt kinda lame. Barely any rumble when firing up the F-15 engines. Just felt off.
I decided to purchase this module (after being very satisfied with SimShaker Wings in Il-2), and… WOW! I felt like I was sitting on two powerful jet engines! My immersion just went through the roof!SO good!
Thank you very much, sir!

Andre, looking for the file you edited to make SSA, & HFS not conflict.
Here you go. Put in into the \Saved Games\DCS\Scripts folder

Is the interaction something that the logger will log?
Yes, the commands sent/received can be seen in the log boxes of both SimShaker for Aviators and Sound Module

im not using my jetseat.. what should i expect to happen when i press SSA? cause right now its not doing anything.. or at least i dont know what i am looking for
it also sends the test command to the Sound Module
as it does nothing it looks like there is no interaction between SimShaker for Aviators and Sound Module
as it's conducted via network protocol I would suspect a firewall software blocking the packets sent by SimShaker for Aviators-

That did it! Now it's awesome again.
Thanks so much for the awesome customer support as always Andre!
You are welcome! Glad you are happy with the Sound Module again.

Thank you Andre.
I tried with the limiting compressor on and off, but I didn't play with the limiting compressor slider yet.
The effect I loved for landing gear might have been gone for years now, I don't know because I mostly work on building my cockpits instead of flying! It's possible I didn't realize it was gone until now when the effect is particularly bad to draw my attention to it. I can say for sure that it was the effect for landing gear in sound module six or seven years ago LOL.
Oh, and I only turned on verbose logging after my last test to get the log on my next test.
OK, thank you. It looks like you don't have right files in the right place.
Please disable Verbose logging.
Unzip attached files exactly into the Documents\SimShaker Sound Module samples\Customized\1 subfolder
When you start the Sound Module it shood look like this

is it possible to get that old landing gear effect back?
Hello, yes this is quite possible.
QuoteI found the post a couple pages back with older audio samples before recent changes and I tried those but it's still not good.
Usually it works fine. May I see a screenshot of your Sound Module?

Thank you. It is the gametrix jetseat
Talking about exactly the Gametrix Jetseat, there is a zip lock across its back side. If you unzip it you will find a soft foam layer underneath. If you carefully slightly cut the foam you will find a motors connection board inside the seat. The connectors are covered with a thermo-glue, which can be soften with a hair dryer for example. You can disconnect the motors of your choice there.
As another option you can edit some of the samples in SimShaker for Aviators package, but I'm afraid it's much more boring. -

Is there a way to create a profile that temporarily disables certain motors, such as the back ones? I have relatively minor back surgery I may need, and would really like to still use the leg motors which would pose no issue to me!
Well, this would be really easy to set up with the new SimShaker Pad, but what is your seat type?

Is the current Simshaker for Aviators currently working in MSFS2024?
Yes, it works. I think you will want to use SSA version 2.9 or higher.

providing the develper with HF8 seat specimen first would be greatly appreciated as well I think
