You got your HOTAS set up right? I usually like to trim so that the aircraft is in stable, level flight before I start pitching for the glide slope. Then the rest with the stick as I hardly ever tutch the trimmer when I'm really close to the runway.

hanging about with a tanker and the new E-2D model when we got intercepted by migs. Had a dogfight but got out manoeuvred almost instantly :)

Update: slow but steady progress, a lot of information to cram in! Hope to release on Friday.

I'd rather ED put time into new AI aircraft (the Typhoon for example) than fix these old models that I never really see in missions. But can't hurt I'f ED find the time.... I'd like to see the KC-10 so that we can refuel with the F/A 18, and I can't wait to be asked weather my aircraft is male or female :lol:

That's a KC-10 at that part... it has the capability to extend the boom or the probe and drogue... however the KC-135 can only use the boom, with a probe and drogue attachment (as seen on the second video). That's the problem.... will ED have to make a KC-10 model and re-think it's refuel procedures or just add the attachment and think of a way to justify aircraft with the female receptor, refuelling on a tanker that has already refuelled a F/A 18 with the probe and drogue attachment, making the normal boom inoperable?

I was just watching this video and it got me thinking..... I'f the next DCS module is the F/A 18, look at 1:03, you can see that the refuel boom is tucked away and there's a female Probe-and-drogue coming out of the tanker. Does the F/A 18 have a way to have a female receiver, or will ED have to change it's refuelling method, and create a KC-10 model? Food for thought.:idea: Edit: And you can see here also....

OK followed the advise on this thread to re-install black shark..... However, after installing patch 1.02 and hitting the exe I got this error: :helpsmilie:

OK I'm trying to take the track file out of black shark to store it in my video's while I re-install BS.... However, I can see it in the track list in BS.... but when I look for it in windows explorer, it ain't there... just the 'demo' folder. Where is it? Edit: No matter just fixed it, I just ran the track again and saved it again in my video's.

Really? does that work without 1.01? Thanks I'l give it a try.

Yep I used 1280 * 800 also but I cannot patch black shark to 1.02 as an error occurs when I launch the exe. I can't tell you what the error was as i'm frightened to try again as it took ages to restore. :crash:

Did you use 1920 * 1080? And is your black shark patched to 1.02?

Hi all.... I remember reading somewhere that the AVI recorder is broken for Black Shark..... I can't find it in the search and I have forgotten where the post I read was... Anyway I tried it myself and It comes up with a runtime error (or something).... Has anyone got it working and how did you do it? Thanks! :thumbup:

Lol Anyway I would buy it but I wouldn't enjoy it as much as DCS A/F 18....
