Nobody mentioned wind speed and direction here?
-
If u miss the jtac readout can u not use \ to ask for a reread?

Virtual dollars, Ralfi, virtual dollars. But, no, I can't produce any evidense of someone taking longer shots. Just seem to remember being told or talking to someone about that once. It sucks getting old. lol. And I totally agree that the Ds locking onto a tank instead of you intended SAM target just ain't right.

As I just replied in the previous thread, it looks like you can only carry one G or K on each rack. That would sadly reduce the much needed Mavs.
-
Reading the encyclopedia it shows the H has the same standoff range as the G. But it looks like the G would be my preferred weapon of choice. Unfortunately, our present loadout selection doesn't seem to support carrying more than two of these at a time. And, of course the D can't be used in force correlation, which is what this exercise is all about.

Toad here. Ok. I finally decided to tackle this. It is my understanding that H's will work with this. But first, the reason I am even bothering. I am sure I saw a fellow A10 pilot launching these guys for a good ten or twelve miles out. On our favorite mission lately we constantly get borked by those nasty SA15s. I am hoping force correlation will allow me to fire from a safe distance. I checked the manual, printed out the Mav Force Correlation page and gave it a try. Looks like it was going to work but the launch window bar was showing even less distance that the Mav D. I did hold down the fire button before the window but it wasn't firing. Is this possible or not?

It seems like it is not just a matter of easy comms any more. You really have to use the right frequency. Odd thing is you can still use \ and make the call on the default with no response. Alt. + num + or - brings up the choice and then you use it. So, why even have easy comms?

Saw that someone presented crashlogs as a rar file so I threw them into there. See if I can get them to you. As for more info: The missions ran for an approximate half hour and all seemed to crash after about that time. Players crashed at different times thruout them. Logs.rar

Cheesh. Hope it helps. OK, didn't work. Upload does not recognize .crash.

Everybody, and I mean everybody including my server was CTDing last night. We tried three different missions andgot the same result. I know. It a beta and is to be expected. I'm not posting any crashlogs as I am sure there are plenty coming in. Me and Slohand decided last night the best bet is to just go back to 1111 and wait for a shitload of fixes to come out for World.:music_whistling:

Well, it just keeps gettin better for me folks. Turns out mapping on of my lowly X 3D Pro sticks' buttons to the snapview toggle keys has allowed my hat switch to cycle my panel views. Ya gotta love it!:smilewink:

Cich u are a God! I am sacrificing a small shrubbery to you! As we speak! Along with having those original views, Rctrl +num0 allows me to free up joystick buttoms for better use. I know there will be a day when I too will have HOTAS and TrackIR. It's just not right now. Thanks again.

OK. Now there's the trick question. I think I mentioned I am using Snap to access my CDU and punch in coords. The only downside is having to hold the snap button as I use the mouse to punch. Is there a way of making the snap views hold? At least least 0, 1 and 3 numpad keys?

Hey Cich... Happy to report that your amended file seems to have done the trick with all appropriate snapviews back in the picture, both single and multiplay.

Changing this reply. Got your amended Snapview and will try it.
