I have the problem of loosing focus on a jet after moving to another view (e.g. fly-by-view) coming from terrain-view. I usually start with view PF11 (terrain) with lock on a jet (DEL-Key). When I switch to PF3 and then want to go back to PF11 with the locked plane - the lock is gone. Is there a way to keep the PF11 lock on a jet even after using other views in between? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP !

Hi Mnemonic! Very nice work. Lots of instruments now! Did you ever think of creating a realistic looking background for all the displays? I mean that the whole thing looks like beeing fully integrated in a cockpit. Maybe even a selectable backgoround for each jet - MIG, A10, F15 etc. Did you ever see RUGGBUTS F15 and A10 touchbuddy profiles? Keep up the good work!

I am looking for a COMPLETE key command overview just with the key commands for movie making. I have a complete key definition for LOCKON but was just wondering if someone - maybe moviegod GLOWING AMRAAM - can create a complete and comprehensive list just for movie makers. All external views, unlock commands, keys for recording tracks and so on. In the official key command overview for LOCKON all these keys are all kind of spread all over and hard to find and to remember where to find (especially when you don't play every day).

Many thanks to Wild.Bill.Kelso and zorlac! These guys are fantastic and have developed these great flight addons. Buy a touchscreen, fire up the FREE TouchBuddy software, use one of the fantastic profiles from there web site or create your own with TouchBuddy Toolkit. Experience simulations as never experienced before !

This is exactly the same what I experience too! After hitting "S" to start the sim the topic "Connected" changes to "Disconnected". This was tested in local mode now. In client/server mode it does not connect at all to Lockon. Any ideas?!

Cheetah, thanks for your description. I have just one Lockon version installed. I will try it in local mode - step by step - again tonight. I am using TouchBuddy and I got this running in client/server mode so VP should be possible too. I will try again!

Mnemonic, would you be so kind to give a VERY detailed step by step description what to do to get VP running in local and (more interesting for me) in client/server mode. I simply can't get VP connected to Lockon. What do I do wrong? MANY THANKS ! PS: If anybody else got some hints or experiences - this would be helpfull too!

Yes that's what I did. If 192.198.199.99 is the machine where VP is started I entered this IP in " " in export.lua on my game machine. I will do further testing tomorrow. If I want to test it in local mode: Do I just have to copy the 2 files in the game folder if I just want to use it on ONE computer? Can I switch windows after starting VP and then Lock On ? Should I then see the title "Connected" ? Thanks for your quick help!

Mmmmmmmmh! I tried Virtual Panel with my Lockon 1.12a and got some problems. As written in the readme_en.txt I copied the 2 files export.lua and config.lua into the Lockon folder Lock On/Config/export. I wanted to run it in client - server mode with 2 computers.´ What exactly has to be in the line in export.lua ? Assume my ip is 192.198.199.99 Original: local host = host or "localhost" Modified for VP local host = host or "192.198.199.99" or local host = host or 192.198.199.99 or local host = "192.198.199.99" or local host = 192.198.199.99 ? I can't get any connection after starting up VP and then starting Lock On with a mission. PLEASE HELP !!! Strange is that I once had a connection but no flight instruments showed any reaction within flight although I got the "connected" title in VP. PS: In the readme_en.txt the version 1.02 of Lock On is used 2 times for "Installation of VP. Which one is for version 1.12a ?

Mmmmmh - if they still got bugs I will wait. I was just wondering because they say "Active LEDs for precise tracking". What does that mean? Is that clip running with a batterie? @H4rM When you got your clip let us know if it is an improvement and what you think of it !!
