I have a pretty annoying problem. Every time I have an ILS, or TACAN tuned, I get the identifier sound and I'm not able to switch it of. Turning down the volume knob at the receiver doesn't work and deselecting it from the audio panel doesn't work either. It keeps beeping the whole time. Any ideas? I'm on 1.1.0.7, Win7 64Bit

Das war auch nicht als Meckern gemeint, ich meinte nur, der Farbdruck wäre mir den 4 Mal so hohen Preis nicht wert. Mit meiner s/w Ausgabe bin ich wirklich sehr glücklich! :)

Nee! In Farbe geht der Preis mal gar nicht! Bei meinem ist auch nur der Einband farbig und Rest s/w, dank des sehr guten Drucks ist das aber absolut kein Problem und Farbdruck waere nur rausgeschmissenes Geld, denke ich. Bin gespannt, wie das von Miniskript ausschaut!

Ahh. No! It seems like you guys are getting me wrong. I had it printed for myself but was not too happy about the layout problem. That's the reason I'm selling it and that's not for profit, in fact it's half of the costs I paid for the printing! I don't see it as selling someone else's work, which I wouldn't do. But now it seems to be on it's way to the Netherlands anyway..

Sure! I've ordered it at the german book printer epubli . It's a softcover print in A5 and I've paid 30€+shipping.

Since there was not much response in the German section I try my luck now international! For sale is a printed version of the DCS A-10C manual pdf file. Due to a little mix-up while ordering, the layout is wrong. Pages that should be left pages are now on the right hand side and vice versa. They are still in the right order, only the page numbers are now at the inside of the page and the white area left and right of the text is wider at the outside. Take a look at the pictures and you will know what I mean! I'm asking 15€ plus shipping. For Germany that would be 22€ total, for international just ask me and I will try to give you a quote. Just keep in mind, that taxes may apply.

Hallo Stephanki! Ich habe meins bei epubli drucken lassen. Interessant fand ich auch noch Miniskript. Die drucken als Ringbuch, was sicherlich auch nicht verkehrt ist. Preislich tun die sich nicht viel.

Nein, ich kann es einfach nicht! Vielleicht bin ich einfach schon zu alt, aber ueber 600 Seiten auf einem Monitor lesen? Nicht fuer mich! Was macht der geneigte Lesefreund also? Er laesst sich ein Buch drucken! Und weil man ja von Natur aus ungeduldig ist, bestellt man es noch schnell zwischen Tuer und Angel, bevor man zur Arbeit duest! Mit dem guten Gefuehl, dass wenn man nach einer Woche wieder nach Hause darf, dort schon ein Paket wartet. Das tut es auch. Andaechtig wird das Klebeband geschlitzt und ehrfuerchtig das frisch gedruckte Flight Manual zum ersten Mal geoeffnet. Wirklich schoen geworden...aber warum stehen die Seitenzahlen innen und nicht aussen?? Und prompt wird aus dem glaenzenden Kleinod ein Spiegel der eigenen Daemlichkeit! :doh: Die fuer die linke Seite gelayouteten Seiten sind durch die weisse Innenseite des Einbandes nach rechts gerutscht. Weil ich dieses Mahnmal meines eigenen Unvermoegens nicht laenger ertragen wollte, habe ich mir schnell noch ein Neues bestellt, mit richtigem Layout. Naja, dieses Mal nicht ganz so schnell. Jedenfalls steht mein erster Versuch jetzt zum Verkauf. Ich habe dafuer 30€ bezahlt und wer sich jetzt durch meine lange Geschichte gequaelt hat, darf es mir fuer 15€ abkaufen. Plus Versand waeren das dann 22€ fuer mein Paypal-Konto. Das gute Stueck ist quasi "unbelesen", alle Buchstaben noch drin, lediglich die Seitenzahlen stehen innen und der weisse Bereich ist auf der Innenseite kleiner als am Rand. Basis ist das pdf-Manual, welches ich vor 2 Wochen "frisch" von der DCS-Seite geladen habe. Also, die erste PN gewinnt und wenn sie heute noch kommt, geht es morgen direkt raus, ansonsten am 13.4., muss dann erst mal arbeiten :pilotfly:

After the biggest letdown in years "Whirlwind over Vietnam", I would really love to see a good Huey simulation from a capable developer, which DCS absolutely is! Since reading "Chickenhawk" by Robert Mason, I´m really hooked on this bird and read everything I can get my hands on. Only thing missing is a decent sim. But I agree, that it doesn´t really fit into the DCS portfolio, even though there are still some Hueys operating today. So, DCS, if you want me to kiss your feet, make a little timetravel and bring us the Huey! Slicks, Guns and Dustoffs! And everyone else... read Chickenhawk! :book:
