Hi, I was curious about the implementation details of the avionics model of the A10C and KA-50. In the real avionics, to track the objects, the images taken from TGP or SKVAL are processed. In the simulation is it modeled similarly (with image processing)? Or, since the actual objects are known only the success ratio of the algorithm is modeled?

After completing the mission, we hanged around for some fun. We did it after 5-6 minutes of trials :)

My girlfriend finds these simulations boring. But I have a second monitor displaying skval and she is much better than me at spotting targets while watching :)

Evading the 9M119 is not as hard as evading manpads or SAMs. Usually you are fired head on by those missiles. If you are vigilant enough to detect the launch, an aggressive sideways maneuver can beat the missile.

I am a researcher and work on kinect. Unlike TIR, currently there is no onboard processor on kinect. The sensor can provide both RGB and depth image with 640x480 resolution at 30 FPS. However, even the calibration (matching the RGB and depth pixels) are performed on the host machine. An application specifically developed for head vector tracking may use only depth pixels and bypass most of the complex computer vision algorithms and perform comparable to freetrack.

After a few attemp, I completed the mission. Always anticipate the wind direction and compensate. Dont rely on auto hower, try manual hovering with trim and keep an eye on the ground movement. For the vikhrs, aligning the targets along the wind direction worked for me. Most of the missiles hit in the automatic mode.

I also want the "smart scaling" feature like in the Falcon BMS. In the CSAR mission, after 15 minutes of low level flying, I couldnt find the pilot or the enemy infantry, even though I play with 1920X1080 resolution.

Why are f-22 and f-35 not possible? Are the specifications classified? I would like to use 20 years old technology instead of 50 years old technology. How did "total air war" simulated f-22?

This problem drives me crazy. I have tried and followed all the suggestions I have found, but no luck. In second mission of Georgian oil war, despite spotting all the targets by himself, my wingman replied "negative" or "unable" to all my commands and I finished the mission myself. The funny thing is that when I replayed the saved track of the same mission, he replied positive and followed all the commands he ignored in the original mission :).
