Sounds like a typical Amazon cockup to me, i'd search round and see if you can get it delivered quicker or have a word with your local games shop (indie maybe a better bet as more likely to try to please). Don't recall saying i did believe it, i was actually implying it was a ridiculous release date. I mean come on 5th December falls on a Monday for a start and all the years i've been gaming i've never known a pc game be released on any other day bar a Friday for some strange god forsaken reason :music_whistling: Picking a date like that just smacks of the ridiculous with no fore thought come to think of can think of a few UK game selling companies that pull the same stunt eg GAME,PLAY etc.

just read this on Amazon UK "This item will be released on December 5, 2011." Surely this can not be right? or is it a case of sticking one's thumb in the air and guess a date. According to Gem a UK distributor they are saying this friday 27th,frankly don't know what to believe :mad:.

Ah! the sweet memories of my younger ill-spent youth (well not that young even then come to think of it :lol:. Had each one of those 'sims' plus others eg silent service, flight of the intruder to name but a few. This is going to be slightly off topic but please bear with me a moment. I've been reading these forums trying to decide wether to purchase or not especially when it comes to trackir (or similar), you see the problem is i suffer from chronic arthritis etc which has seriously affected my neck movement with the result i can not move my head much more the a few degree's left/right and down (no movement up). My point being is that post after post i get the impression with no trackir its going to be very difficult to use A10 the way it should be without serious inpediment or downright unplayble and frankly its putting me off (and i suspect a lot of other potential buyers with similar problems like myself). Is A10 Warthog playble without trackir without being seriously handicapped (excuse the pun lol)? I have a x52 hotas, wish i could stretch to TM but no way even trackir is abit dear in my opinion but i suppose its demand v supply. Apologies to the op,hope you guys don't mind, look forward to reading your replies and maybe finalise my decision.

Nice job, any players in the UK done a similar thing or used a online printing outfit? Details please if so, girding my loins to get this flight sim bought.
