in case you've missed it: jim kindly offered replacement manuals to those that got their copies ruined. the problem is that no one has much control over the delivery process (except in the form of over-protecting the package) and delivery companies don't really care about what happens to the packages they're supposed to deliver. i think that they (posts, delivery companies) have calculated that it costs them less money to deliver the packages the way they do, than to slow down the process with careful handling.

a friendly suggestion for ed/tfc: don't ship the manuals in just a padded envelope, at least not to non-uk customers. while mine was not outright torn apart it is quite bent. the binder and pages can probably be straightened out with a bit of work, but still. in that, i think, amazon's higher shipping charges are justified - they ship books in some sort of box (when they have them in stock :D). edit: a couple of pictures, if anyone's interested :):

he just needs to click the "activate with cd" button (the middle one):

in fc and bs you generally don't need to select an axis; you just double click where you want it to be assigned and move the axis through it's full range of motion, so that the game recognizes and assigns it.

i've recieved my order after ~24 days. i ordered my copies on 1. 11., my card was charged on 7. 11. and the order was dispatched around 20. 11...

i think what shemi is trying to point out is that the moon is shaded (lighted?) incorrectly. its western hemisphere should be in shadow, not the eastern.

first: run the setup as administrator, from the looks of it you're trying to install in program files, which requires privilege elevation. second (if running as administrator doesn't work): go to start > control panel > regional and language options (assuming you have control panel's layout set to classic). click the administrative tab > change system locale > acknowledge the uac prompt > from the drop-down menu select russian (russia). click ok and reboot when prompted. re-run the setup (it'll now be in cyrillic instead of random characters) and post a screenshot of the error. be sure to set the system locale for non-unicode software back to its original setting so it wont mess up any other non-unicode software you may have. edit: ekfly> I mean the account that I have now has admin privileges right click on setup.exe (or whatever the installer executable is called) and select run as administrator.

an easier method of setting the processor affinity would be the use of task assignment manager from tom's hardware. it may not be the best piece of software (no minimize, doesn't save application profiles) but at least you don't have to alt-tab out of the game.
