  1. I've got my logitech steering wheel plugged in... I use the pedals as rudders :-D works perfect...
  2. Okay all sorted for anyone how is having this issue, or anyone who will. Firstly this is not a iControl issue! So check your hardware first... The RealTek PCIe GBE Family of NICs has a buggy driver - version 7.43 caused me an issue on my motherboard (seen below) use version 7.46 from this site... http://www.realtek.com.tw/DOWNLOADS/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=13&PFid=5&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false and you won't have any issues. Thanks for the help boarder2!
  3. Its a known issue. Just be patient it'll be fixed if it can be.
  4. Okie dokie, here we go... I formatted my PC completely today, latest drivers and nothing else but DCS A-10 and iControl Server plus whatever else is required for flying - TrackIR, Thrustmaster etc. I still have the same problem. The debug log doesn't show much at all, says its sending data, my guess is that its not enough or something to that effect. My Network is in good shape there are only two devices on it and no conflicting networks around either so just the iPad on the Wifi and the PC on the ethernet same subnet etc. I've attached a pic of something I've never seen before and am not sure if it could be the cause of the problem. There is a border of background activity in each MFD, its almost like the 300 size does not fill the area, if I change to different MFD sizes I have the same issue. Also I now never get about 1 or 2 FPS on desktop or DCS unless I extend to a virtual monitor on VGA then I can get better fps. The performance of switch presses is excellent, instantaneous actually. I am completely stumped. Log.txt
  5. Okay, nothing I do helps at all... I get 30fps when DCS is not running as it starts I get 1fps. I give up :-(
  6. I've done both, maybe there is something hanging around from previous debugging that we did... Will try everything I can think of again.
  7. Not really sure when it started, my PC has been out of commission for some time now, just getting everything back to being set up. With version 2.1 my fps is shocking. Like average of 2 fps. Considering I discovered the network quirk with you I did check that it possibly could be the issue and I don't run an aero desktop anyway. Really no idea what gives. Ever had issues with SLI setups? Or maybe nVidia beta drivers?
  8. Anyone else getting really horrid framerates on the MFD's with this? I can't seem to figure out why all of a sudden I can't get about 5 FPS. My network is very good and utilization on the NIC is very low. Firewall is all good and settings seem to be fine... Stumped...
  9. Also if you don't have time to complete your 3 hour sortie and have to shoot off after the kids/dog/patient/work. That'd be great too :-D Good idea otherwise.
  10. Wait for Full Alignment 4.0.0.8 before pressing NAV OSB - then switch from HARS to EGI then turn on EAC. Make sure you have your flaps set to MVR or FULL for take off I find MVR good enough for lift. TO Trim important too... 130kts then rotate.
  11. Not yet, only DX9 at the moment. I think a DX11 Update is planned for the future. News on that has been quite low lately.
  12. VRS is really great, FSX is not the greatest platform though and requires a lot of gymnastics to get the best out of it. That said the VRS guys have done a brilliant job and I'm super excited for the TacPac. DCS A-10 is my baby though, the feeling of flight and the more full featured world and systems just can't be beat. Hmmm... Some Air Traffic in a 'Free Flight' would be fun though, give the world that bit of life it needs... hehe I can hope and dream... (yes I know its a theatre of war)
  13. Haha thanks guys... Seriously suffering with cold hands, trying to AAR is a nightmare!
  14. So I've got my lovely TM Warthog all set up and ready to go, its solid and rugged feeling... also... its freezing bloody cold, and its winter! This got me to thinking, do they have heated Joysticks in the Aircraft? Because man this things is not awesome in winter, especially where I live where winter sucks due to lack of planning :-) Random yes, but I'd like to know. Thanks,
  15. Finally getting my new replacement unit, hope to all hell it doesn't die on me! So happy to have a Warthog back soon!
  16. Obvious question sorry... Have you tried the in-sim training mission? I found using it was all I needed... just kept flying it over and over until I had it figured out. That and a bit of RTFM worked well. On third party observation - there are plenty of tracks out there you can watch also Youtube can't be beat as mentioned above.
  17. Good going boarder2! Thanks for the effort once again.
  18. Purchased through an Amazon importer here in SA. Serial is 02648 Still awaiting a response from my retailer. :-(
  19. 1. Its well worth it! 2. Yes 3. No, as above not needed. Just be aware that there are issues with the device. I would suggest that if you do get one you unplug it after every use. My throttle died apparently from USB power surge or static after I power up/down my PC. Check the list of motherboards that have had throttles die on them. Thrustmaster support seems good enough. Unfortunately I live in South Africa so getting mine fixed with them is kinda out of the question. YOU WILL LOVE THE JOYSTICK THOUGH. Enjoy.
  20. Mine just died too - worked like a dream last night and today dead. 890FXA-GD70 Sucks that I'm in South Africa and paid $1000 for it, returns are going to be a serious headache.. -cries-
  21. Hi Guys, I was just wondering if any of you had experienced and issue with your Warthog Throttle. I turned my PC on today and it is completely dead. It was working last night in flight and today with no change its just dead. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I paid $1000 for this thing as I am in South Africa and pretty bleak about it. Hoping its a common problem else getting it fixed is going to take 3 months at least. Thanks.
  22. Be interesting to see, will have a look. ;-).. Although thinking about it... those off screen areas aren't rendered and don't form part of your resolution so it probably won't work... I'll try anyway though.
