  1. absolutely must agree with everyone else, Saitek Combat pedals rock with the Warthog
  2. Nah, just playing offline...The place I lived at the time didn't have broadband, and only had AOL dialup...
  3. Wow, brings back memories....I spent many a days playing Janes F-15 on those

  5. I'm actually getting ready to do the same thing. I currently use the G940 but my Warthog will arrive on Monday. I'm selling my G940 and hope to get enough for it to by the Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals too. I looked at the other Saitek pedals and I'm just not so sure I would like them as much as the combat pedals, so that's what I'm going with. I'll let you know how they are when I get them, but it will probably be at least a week or two before that happens.
  6. I think you have to hit Right Control + Num 0 to enable snap views
  7. like YoYo said, here's my UFC using a X-Keys 24 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=70554
  8. I was lucky enough to get mine from Microcenter.com, it looks like they may have them in stock currently and priced at $59.99. I would call them first before I order from them (I did to verify they were in stock and I got them after a couple of days). I should mention that I searched high and low before I found them at MC, everyone was out...I originally ordered mine before XMas from Amazon and they kept delaying and delaying it. Sure they're on Ebay for 80 bucks plus a big reach around for shipping....Glad I found them when I did! I hope you're able to find them, they are worth their weight in gold in my opinion!
  9. Hi Keith, first off they look fantastic! I can tell you really put a lot of work into them, and you get a big thank you from this flight sim enthusiast! I would certainly be interested in the CDU that you are designing, depending on the final cost. Here's one question, what were your plans for the screen for the CDU? Personally, I would be happy with it being blank and then we could throw a small LCD monitor in there if anything... Overall, if it's something that would be in the $300 range, i would say I am absolutely interested, anything higher than that I would have to see how things are going at that point. Again, thanks for your hard work!
  10. seems the best price right now is right around $499 plus shipping
  11. lol
  12. it's a decent all in one (hotas and rudder) and the force feedback is ok...But to be honest at this point I can't say I'd recommend it over another system. Logitech has really dropped the ball on drivers and firmware for the system, it's going on a year since the last update and there are a couple of BIG problems with the system at this point. I'm actually looking to upgrade to the Warthog soon, only problem is they don't come with rudder pedals... So honestly, if you have the money I'd go Warthog and get some pedals to go with it...
  13. I'm fairly certain medals are awarded to career score or campaign progression...I've gotten quite a few at this point and there seems to be no rhyme nor reason for their awarding
  14. I'm not sure on the XKeys profressional, but I can speak on the XK-24... You use the Macroworks software to program the device. You basically push the button on the xkeys device and then tell macroworks what keys/commands you wish that key to "transmit". You can save each setup as a profile, so if you were gonna play A-10 you go into MW and load the A-10 profile and save it to the device. You can then change the profile if you were going to use another program. Hope this helps
  15. The xk-24 is backlit, so each key doesn't have individual led's, but you can backlight the entire pad either blue or red
