  1. Thanks very much for the tip. This did the trick.
  2. Hi, I've downloaded the LLTM preview video a couple of times, and can't get it to play in any viewer. I've had no problem with the other videos on the DCS website. Is there some codec I'm missing? Thanks, DaddySchlich
  3. Ironhand, Thanks for the response. Nice to know that I'm not alone, but too bad that it doesn't work for me. Please keep your tracks/tutorials coming. I've always learned from them. Daddy Schlich
  4. Hi, Thanks for all your tutorials. On this one, however, I'm having a problem. I've run it three times - not touching any of the keys - and the main Su-27 has been hit by the first missile fired at it, with the time on the F2 bar at bottom of the outside screen reading 1/15:05:10, or just over 5 minutes into the track I've installed the patch to FC 1.11. Might that be the problem? Did you record using the base FC 1.11? Looking forward to your next tutorial - whether it be F15 refueling, or something else Thanks, Daddy Schlich
  5. I wish I could help, but I can't. Eventually, my problem was solved by downloading the 1.11 patch from the German website. For whatever reason, that worked. And, of course, I started from the Evolved Games CD set, rather than the dowloaded version of FC. Sorry, Daddy Schlich
  6. Would that be true since Flaming Cliffs runs just fine?? One thought - second time around - when I uninstalled, it complained about a file MOM.dll not self-registering or something. Because I was uninstalling, I figured it did not matter. But I have no idea what that means.
  7. Not sure what you mean by saying I should "default" my internet connection "speed setting." I just download using Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox with no download manager. I download to a 7200 rpm IDE hard drive through a cable modem service. Nothing fancy.
  8. Wanted to report that I totally uninstalled Lockon:FC, and then reinstalled from scratch from the Evolved Games CDs (including the replacement 2d CD). It worked fine. Then I tried to install two downloads from the 1.11 patch taken from two fo the mirror sites listed in www.lockon.ru. I used the 54.3 MB version of the patch. I'm still getting the Error Code 3 message. Anyone have any ideas? Very frustrating. Thanks, Daddy Schlich
  9. Thanks, folks, but I'm still stuck. I installed the two Evolved Games CDs directly (yes, I had a defective one, but had that replaced - so I have been playing FCliffs just fine ever since.) (I had an earlier LOMAC 1.02 setup, with various LOMAN mods, etc. To avoid possible problems, I decided to do a clean install.) I think I installed the two fixes on the http://www.lockon.ru website. Other than that, I only downloaded Ironhand's Su25T Orientation training mission, as well as various tracks, but those shouldn't have made a difference. And I downloaded the 54.3 MB patch from the first 3 mirrors (files are the identical size) - which I'm pretty sure is the correct patch for the Evolved Games version. Any other ideas? Thanks, DaddySchlich
  10. Hi, I'm consistently getting error code 3 when trying to install 1.11 even though I've downloaded separately from the first 3 of the 4 mirrors. I have the Evolved Games boxed CD set, and downloaded the 54 MB patch. Need I uninstall anything before trying to apply the patch? Either originally, or after one failed installation? I've applied the two ED patches, and have downloaded a few training missions/tracks. But no skins, no mods, etc. Any ideas out there? Thanks, Daddy Schlich
  11. Many thanks, Han, for the answer. Much better than having to find out by trial and error!! Maybe you could add to the readme. Daddy Schlich
  12. Hi, The description of 1.11 patch indicates that some tracks recorded prior to 1.11 may not play back correctly. Has anyone said whether the training tracks included with Flaming Cliffs will continue to play back correctly? Thanks, Daddy Schlich
  13. Just to the EvolvedGames website. Instructions for getting a good 2d CD are there. Just did it myself. Daddy Schlich
