  1. Ah, thanks. Looks like I'll have to switch to 32 bit version to get it to work.
  2. I've been trying, but for some reason, Warthog won't recognize the Fake TrackIr protocol. Black Shark has no problem with it. Using version 1.0.7.
  3. Its simple. If there's SAMs and your high, your dead. If there's AAA and your low, your dead. If there's both, play sick.
  4. Arma 2 with ACE 2 is fun, but its not real like DCS. I'm waiting for DCS to get into the FPS field. Maybe in a few years, after they come out with their Fighter, because a REAL Arma type world is going to take a POWERFUL computer to run it. The Arma 2 world has a ton of problems, and low realism. We need a REAL FPS, with REAL armor and REAL weapons. In the end, Arma 2, even with ACE 2, is still just a glorified game. DCS-Reality.
  5. This. I use a radio controlled airplane controller from RealFlight which has two joystics and a button. I use the mouse and keyboard for everything else. Its not too bad. Paying 500 to 600 dollars for a joystick is insane. I wouldn't give over $75 for a HOTAS setup. Its just a joystick. I would like to get TrackIr one day though, if it ever comes down to a decent price.
  6. As above. I set everything to low and now I can't ever see any buildings. What do I have to set to show buildings? Is it Scenes? I can't seem to get them back. The sceneries pretty bland without them. Thanks.
  7. Yep, even OF isn't at the pure realism level of DCS. Would love to see DCS-F16. That, or DCS-F18.
  8. It would be nice to have binoculars, because you can use them much more quickly the the targeting pod. Some cheap 7x Bushnell's would do. You could just look out where you want, and then hit a key to bring up the binocs. Please code them in DCS. It shouldn't be that hard.
  9. Quick Question. When your on the Divert Page in the CDU, how do you get the degrees at which the runway is laid out so you can put it in the course for the HDI? I get the magenetic heading for the runway, but I don't know what to stick in the HDI for the course to line up with the runway. In the tutorial, the teacher tells us to input 130 degrees into the HSI to set up a course to align with the runway. I never knew how he got that number.
