  1. Hi YoYo, As Pilot Ike and others have asked: would you please be so kind as to rework your excellent skins so they can be used in the latest DCS-version? They were beautiful, historical skins, and it's a pity that they can no longer be used. So if you find the time to work on them, that would be really appreciated! Kind regards, Ikarushin
  2. Hello uboats, You did it. The AvioDev training mission works. Thank you for your continuous support and for solving this problem. Thanks, With kind regards, Ikarushin
  3. Hello uboats, Thank you for your continuous efforts to help me. I'm sorry to say that the updated content of the lua-file didn't make the difference. The mission is visible in the menu, but after starting it, again only a black screen appears. If you're still willing to think about this problem, I would appreciate it of course. And otherwise, I'm fully willing to accept the loss of the AvioDev training mission: thanks to you I have after all three very well made training missions. Kind regards, Ikarushin
  4. Hello uboats, Thank you for your reply. Only now did I have time to try your solution. Partial success: after changing the .lua (name and content) the mission did show up in the menu. But after starting it, I only got a black screen. On the bottom of the screen there is a pause/play button and a progress bar, so it seems that a video should be playing? If you have further suggestions, I would appreciate that very much. Kind regards, Ikarushin
  5. Thanks uboats for your advice. Much appreciated. Tried it of course, but somehow it doesn't work. Looking more closely, I saw that the .lua of the AvioDev mission is named "lessons.lua". Renaming it to "lesson.lua" (both .miz and .lua in the new "2" folder) made the situation worse: after starting the game and clicking my way to the tab of the C-101, there now appeared the missions of the modules next to it (either the A-10C or the FC3 in my case). Changing the .lua back to its original name ("lessons.lua") solves that problem, your missions are again available, but not the AvioDev mission. I'm truly baffled about this and don't know how to solve this. Kind regards, Ikarushin
  6. First of all, I thank uboats for making the excellent training missions for the C-101 when there were none. Since the last DCS World update in my Missions/EN/Training-folder of the C-101 there is this file: C-101-Training-L01-Start-Up-V1.3.miz. It does not show up in the game however. Even removing the folders of uboats' training missions (temporarily of course) doesn't help to make this mission show up. I think the start-up.miz is made by AvioDev. But what do I have to do to be able to fly this mission without loosing uboats missions? Kind regards, Ikarushin
  7. Thanks Robo. for your answer and suggestions. Much appreciated. Kind regards, Ikarushin
  8. C-101 not showing on index tabs Just bought the C-101 module. Thanks for the Spring Sale by the way! After installing the module, the C-101 does not show up on the aircraft index tabs in the sections "Instant action" and "Training". However, the C-101 shows up in the "Missions" section and it is also possible to create a fast mission. I think the C-101 should show up on the index tabs? Don't know if there is something wrong with my module or if it is something to do with the fact that the plane is still in beta. (I have already tried to download and install the module again, but that didn't make a difference.) A minor bug: In the start screen the 'logo' of the C-101 has gotten its full colours, but when hovering over it with my mouse, it does not 'highlight' with a small blue line. Part of the same problem? (There is also no Campaign for the C-101, but that is probably because it is still beta.) Haven't flown much with the plane yet, but I like what I've seen so far. Kind regards, Ikarushin

  11. jg6_bigglescdn, Everytime I update the game I get the same 'behaviour'. In my case it's the firewall/anti-virus programme that, in the background, waits for your permission to let the new (=updated=altered) programme give access to the internet. I usually hit ctrl+alt+delete, then choose taskmanager. I then get a view of my desktop with a window on it from my firewall/anti-virus programme. I confirm that DCS is to be trusted and then everything works just fine. Hope this helps.
  12. First I was at a loss: no "repair DCS World" file in my installation. But then it dawned on me: Windows 8.1 also has that tile-desktop thingy. And there it was: an icon for "repair DCS World". It worked, and DCS World is updating now. Thank you all for helping me!
  13. Thanks SiThSpAwN for the advice. However, I've no idea how to do that? Is there a certain .exe file I should run?
  14. I'm glad that the fix in DCS_Updater 2.4.3.62 is out. I assumed that when starting DCS World this updater would start working and fix DCS World. However, when I start DCS World, it does so without updating. My DCS World is still corrupt, e.g., there are four _backup files (all concerning the Su-25T) and in Mods my module of the Fw-190D is still missing. What do I have to do to make the updater work and fix DCS World? Or is the only solution to reinstall DCS World and all the modules?
  15. You never guess what I just did ...
