  1. Hello, Here's one I haven't seen before. When I select the Harrier, I am unable to use any keys on the keyboard with the exception of the numpad keys, and the ESC key. Upon selection of this module, all function keys become disabled as an example. The ESC key works as well as the numbers keypad. I've removed all key bindings and is still happening. I've loaded other missions, and it does the same thing with this module. Any idea what could be happening? Thanks. Ray
  2. Copy MIke. Thanks for the reply man. Yeah, I would say that feature will make the Tomcat complete for dark night, no Moon, precision strike missions. I currently have to put a fool Moon to see the basket with 2.2 set for gama. Take care and thanks again to HB for working on this stuff.
  3. Guys, thank you for all the hard work in making this module awesome! I was hoping to conduct some dark night, no Moon AAR tonight, but have found the probe light to still useless. Is been like that since the module was released. Yes, it is brighter as listed on the latest change log, but it lights up the basket when you are within two feet of it. Is this something that’ll be fix sometime? I doubt it was that bad in the airplane. Any thoughts? Thanks. Ray
  4. Guys, thanks for the help. Sorry for the late reply. Solved it by deleting the Export.lua. Also had some help in Discord. Thanks so much for taking the time. I appreciate it. Take care.
  5. Hello, Guys, I cannot figure this out. I cannot get VoiceAttack to work with the latest DCS OpenBeta after the last update. Been trying to resolve this for days now, and I cannot figure it out. The only thing I did was to update OpenBeta. What’s happening? The menus keep popping on and off every five seconds. Something that’s always solved it, which was the Lua code Reset, no longer works. It also recognizes voice commands, as it does beep, but DCS does not recognizes the commands. With the Tomcat, it displays “AIRIO commands are not available” with the Tomcat Loaded. What have I done? 1. I have performed the Lua code MASTER ZERO reset multiple times. Yes closing VA after, launching BOTH applications, closing BOTH of them again without starting any missions, and closing them again. Nothing. It does the same thing. 2. I’ve ran the repair of DCS, both the long and short version, and performing step 1 above. Nothing. 3. I have reset custom DCS path with and without “fix Reg” checked. Nothing. 4. I have copied files generated by clicking “EXPORT” in the bottom of the Config page within VIACOM PRO, to the appropriate directory. Nothing. Selecting Release or OpenBeta in the Options section has no affect. Need help please. I’m unable to fly the Tomcat module as I rely on this to work with the RIO. Again. Works good in the Release version of DCS. VA version is v1.10.3, and 2.8.1.1 of VIACOM PRO. Hope I can get some help. I’ve checked just about any other part of the forums with similar issues, but with older versions. Oh, Windows 11. Thanks guys. Ray
  6. Hi! I’m unable to find a solution. With version 2.8, I’m no longer able to use the numbers keypad section of the keyboard to center the views for example, in VR. Also the functions keys work okay, but not the numbers key. All keys work okay in 2D. Ran the 2.7 stable version and I’m able to use all the keys including centering the views in VR. Ran a repair and nothing. Again, is occurring with just 2.8 after the update. Is a Logitech 9XX keyboard. Any suggestions? Thanks. Ray
  7. Hello! Just want to post here and see if anyone else is experiencing this with the Viper and the latest OpenBeta update. I experienced two freezes yesterday in multiplayer, as both a client and a host. They seemed to happened as I was sorting AA targets, using TWS mode, and moving the antenna elevation. Using TMS right short may have something to do with it. The other thing I noticed differently, one of three Viper flights showed waypoints within the mission editor, but when we got into the jets, that flight did not show waypoints. Not sure if is related. Both times I was forced to exit by using Cntrl-Alt-Del. Take care. Bones
  8. That’s it man! Thanks you, and thanks to all of you as well that contributed. Somehow, that got selected after the update. I know I didn’t select that. I went to GAMEPLAY and sure enough, it was checked. Take care guys. Ray
  9. Nailed it! That worked for me as well. However, we gotta narrow it down man, because it looks like all the settings are now at default. We got progress! That’s good. Ray
  10. Welcome to the club man! Let’s see if we can figure this out! Okay so, here’s the latest: 1. I selected the aged cockpit in the Specials tab. 2. I ran a repair and selected the modified (default) option, and selected to delete the files it found on the initial screen. Got a repair successful. 3. I went to Saved Games\DCSopenbeta\Mods\aircraft. I deleted an A-4C folder there. That’s all I found. 4. Went to the Liveries folder, and I just have an F-16C, and an F-18C_hornet folder. I didn’t touch them, as those are liveries for the virtual squadron I fly with, and I really don’t think it’ll have any effect. All the above did not fix it guys. Attached is a screenshot of the aged cockpit. Any ideas? Ray
  11. I tell you what: how do I confirm I’m not using a mod? Seriously. I’m not being sarcastic. As far as I know man, I don’t have any mods installed. I did remember selecting the new cockpit option in the Specials tab of the A-10C II menu, but I did select it after I noticed the issue. Where are mod files saved? I’ll delete all of them. I’ll check again tomorrow morning, and post here on my findings. Thanks again for your help. Ray
  12. Guys. I ran a repair, uninstalled and reinstalled BOTH modules. Same thing. Anything else I can try?
  13. Tried building a mission in the NTTR, and is the same; with both, a cold and dark airplane, and a running one. I’ll have to wait till I get home and try it on my home PC. Ray
  14. Hey Ziptie! Dude, is weird. I don’t have any mods installed. I’m running it on a laptop, as I use it for mission building. I originally had a flight with the original A-10C. I just changed the flight to the II. I also added a single A-10C II flight and is the same. Is in Incirlik, Syria. I’m gonna try a clean mission and see if I’m able to see it. I don’t have any flight controls connected. Ray
  15. Okay! That’s great! Thanks for letting us know. I still don’t have one. Ray
  16. Hey guys! Where’s the click spot to make the stick visible in the VC? Can’t find it. I see nothing in neither the Special Menu, or in the controls menu. Thanks. Ray
  17. Ah! Cool man. Thank you. How do I command assisted startup? Do I just say it with VA? Does everything work okay after that? Ray
  18. Hey guys! Quick question: Are you guys able to fly the F-14 module with VoiceAttack lately? After the last couple of updates, I can’t get passed the “Loud and Clear” call with the AI RIO, and neither can anyone else in the virtual squadron. That’s in open beta. In the release version, VA with the RIO doesn’t work at all. Are you guys having the same issue? Being that I didn’t find anything here in the first few pages, the answer is probably not, but I figure I ask! It was all working fine until about four weeks ago or so. Where can I start the troubleshooting process? VA works okay with any other module. Light is green for registration. Ray
  19. Thanks guys! I also looked into the first two links here, and will be trying to learn me some Lúa! I’ll start playing with it as soon as I get back home. Ray
  20. Okay, I looked at the link, and can see by some of the lines that I can understand, it does look like it can do what I’m looking to so; but how do I implement it. Not familiar with MOOSE or .lua files at all man. I’ll see what I can find on my own, but if you know of a good start place to go, without taking too much of your time, I appreciate it if you can provide the info. Thanks again. Ray
  21. Cool man! I’ll look into that. Thanks for pointing me in the direction! Ray
  22. Hello, Guys, I’m sorry in advanced if this has been asked before, but I’m limited on time, and a search didn’t turn up anything. Here’s what I want to do: I want to build a mission where we can do air to air engagements, red vs blue, clients, and score hits; whether it is with missiles or guns, and not get destroyed, or shot down; but still record the kill. In other words. I want to design a mission that represents real world training, where we can score kills, without the airplanes getting destroyed. I’m very familiar with the ME on triggers, and flags. I thought about making the airplanes immortal, but the problem with that, is that is difficult to tell when you got hit. So, how about making the airplanes immortal, and when a specific client unit gets hit/killed in an AA engagement, display a message to all, with that specific unit that got hit: “Colt 21, you’ve been killed. Nock it off”. Or something like that. Will that work? Can we assign that to a specific unit? I hope I’m clear enough. If not, please ask away. Thanks guys. Ray “Bones” Lemus 56th VFW, 309th VFS CO.
