Turn down Shadow to flat and visib range to medium,should give you some fps,dont expect much.Many people WRONGLY THINK that when they have a high end machine,they can run in 90 fps on high/max settings in Dcs or il2.Theres NO computer with todays TECH,that can do that,maybe in 5 years time with better cpus and gpus,you can get higher results.Be happy with a constant 60 fps thats good.I have high end machine,having had the first oculus rift when it came out,and now using a rift-s and happy as hell,im using similar settings as you do,and doing around 60-70 fps in dcs and in Il2 and im happy,just experiment with the settings,untill you find something thats high and constant in fps,and go from there.

have you turned-ASW off.ctrl+1.i have a 2080 and get 40fps on ground as soon as i take off,it climbs to 70-80 fps constant and im on a rift s

Hi all! im wondering if theres any news or inside tips when the P51 Charnwood Campaign is going to be released.

This was a related problem with Watchdogs 2 about 2 weeks ago.And there was a driver update called 384.80.This helped me with watchdogs 2.try it and see if theres any problem with dcs.As of now im running 384.80 windows 10 creator and have no problem with dcs. http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4522

Hi there! I had the same thoughts as you do,to get or not to get.But i bought a Rift as christmas present for my self,been flying with it now for 6 months.And will never go back too monitor ever.Some games you should try is Dcs-offcourse : ) ,Il2 sturmovik-awsome Vr in that game too.Dirt Rally and Project cars if you like driving,Elite Dangerous if your into space sim.

Must be some 1080 ti driver issue from nvidia.I have same computer specs as the poster exept im using a 1080.and im hitting 70-80 fps in Vr,with almost anything maxed out exept shadows and mirrors.Boris are you using Nvidia gaming experience that comes with the drivers,try and uninstall that and just use the graphic drivers nothing else.Have had several bad experiences with that crappy software.

Had the same problem as you are having multible times and almost turned my oculus back too the vendor.Found a solution on oculus page.Dont use your oculus USb-cable in a Usb 3.0 computer port.And in advanced computer settings find,oculus USB and HDMI Cable and set them to NOT POWER SAVE ON USE.This helped me and have used the oculus for 3 months without any problem.

Spot on! will never go back to 2D monitor after i bought my rift,just need my Daily Vr 45m-1hour fix exept the weekends.Are as you waiting NOT SO paitently for Il2 Stalingrad-Bom vr,it will probably be just as awsome.Patrick Wilson Campaign generator and Vr,will kick the SH1t out off that game.

One question where can you see if you are a ww2backer and you can get normandy map for free,Have looked in 2.0 and in 1.56 and checked my profile,have a slight memmory that i have seen the title ww2 backer on my profile or name for dcs.Will surely buy it otherwise,just good too know if its free and only need to buy the assessts later!

Cant answer for the other Vr users,But i Quickglance throw the bottom of the rift goggles on my keybord,and have no problem with it,I use a hotas Warthog with throttle and make sures eveything is within reach Before starting to fly:joystick:

Hi i just bought a oculus rift and love it with DCS.Only thing i would like too change is the look sensivity when looking around,so it would move faster.Any setting that works in dcs or in Oculus Home???

Have you tried the joystick in a regular usb Connection if it works then??.I had the warthog joy and throttle and a saitek rudder on the same usb hub.and after a while the throttle started too blink and lose Connection with the hub.but it did work in standard usb port

Dont know were to post this! But will the new countries you can choose fully work in 2.0. I tested Sweden and they cant seem too get promotion or medals,the first liutenant rank is blurred in the Picture,and no squadron to choose from.Seen other countries in the list that has the same problem.Its a good thing too have more countries to choose from really apprecieted.
