So was just wondering is there any way after your copilot or door gunner is waxed to get a new crew member without getting a whole new Huey? Or are they along for the ride rest of the mission? Would be nice when you land at a FARP to get some replacments when rearming and refueling.

So I have played this 9 times now even with the updated fixed campaign mission and still cant complete it the choppers just circle round and around never picking up the troops. I even turned labels on to see if I was missing a target and I did not. Needless to say this is extremely frustrating can anyone help me out with this?:mad:

If this is how the Huey flew before this update we would have lost more choppers to pilot error than to the VC/NVA IMO. My moms boyfriend is a former Huey pilot and his best friend was his door gunner. I let him sit down for another test flight lastnight and he said with the update its much better and closer to how the real Huey handles. He showed me a movie of them flying where he took off in a perfect stable hover rotated 180 degrees and transitioned into forward flight about 8 ft off the ground. It looked almost effortless. So we both think the update did some real good to the fm.

Well I spoke with the tech support guys at evga. They said it could also be the power coil I'm hearing. But they are very stumped that its only DCS that's causing this noise. And even more so that I have a 600watt psu that more than enough for the card. Any other ideas anyone?

Every time I enter into the 3d world in dcs I can hear a buzzing sound from my graphics card fan. When I exit back to the GUI it stops. Any other game I play it does not happen fsx bf3 Ac3 far cry 3 . Only in DCS. Any ideas guys and gals on how to solve this?

Is there any chance of seeing new vapor effects added to the aircraft down the road? I have been flying this amazing sim since day one and have always had one gripe. I know it's a little personal issue but there's nothing like watching a fighter jet in a high G turn with a huge plume of vapor over the aircraft and nice trails off the wingtips. In our VBA Mod F-18 custom vapor was added to the LEX in a high G turn so its possible. I am sure the current vapor trails of hard coded in the game but it's just a wish of mine for down the road and I know not near a top priority. Keep up the outstanding work guy's!

F/A-18C Reports question for Wags Longtime since I have posted here since Kato and I started the Virtual Blue Angels, I was reading over the sim hq interview and also see now Wags avatar is a F/A-18 C . Are the reports of that being the next DCS Aircraft true? If so I'm going to jump for joy!!!.. also how are my beloved VBA doing? report in guys! :)

Just as a follow up what worked for me was clearing the scratchpad then pressing the enter button on to UFC brought the heading tape back WOOT!! Cheers guys!! BTW A few errors im seeing in 1.0.8 in single player while landing my wingman notifys me Gear up gear up gear up about a million times until I exit the flight also. In multi Player if me and my wingman hook SPI's to eachother his aircraft vanishes not only the 3D model but on my TAD as well just thought i'd throw that out there :)

Hi I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to get the heading tape back in the HUD after switching modes seems that the scratchpad replaces the heading tape .. Thanks!

I have lost the ability to click the buttons in my cockpit. mouseview somhow came on by itself and I was able to disable that in the scrpit folder changing it to false however, I can no longer use my mouse to click anything in the cockpit in fack I dont even see a mouse pointer anymore even the L-Alt C option brings up the cursor but still does not allow me to click any buttons with the mouse in the pit I have even reverted the file I changed back to the original and still nothing is there a file I can edit to give me back my mouse and clickable pit ability? Please help! thanks!
