  2. OMG, just fly the airplane, that is what a pilot does. I know from experience.
  3. I don't know about anyone else but I don't perform a single degree calculation or math equation in my head while playing. That sounded kind of ridiculous to me. I just turn my head slightly in any direction and the view is where I want it, pretty simple. If you are into flight sims, $120 is a worthwhile investment for an incredibly useful piece of equipment. I am not an employee of NaturalPoint BTW. Just mt two cents.
  4. Both make the sim absolutely perfect. If you want the best experience possible you must bite the bullet like the rest of us and get both. Im glad i did. But should also realize that the warthog stick comes with some very powerful software that lets you do nearly anything with it for any other simulator as well. Also the TiR is useful in many other games as well. BOTH! :)
  5. ShuRugal-"well, unless the plane has an AoA meter, the pilot has to use things like IAS and known aircraft weight to judge when airflow separation will occur. since the P-51 lacks an AoA gauge..." No, all you have to do is watch for signs of an impending stall, this technique works at any speed or aircraft weight, when you see/feel the buffet ease up on the stick. :)
  6. The only thing that affects stall speed is angle of attack. You can stall the P-51 at 60mph or 250mph. It just depends on how hard you pull. A wing stalls because the air going over the top of the wing becomes disrupted, this can happen at any SPEED and is called an accelerated stall. Regardless of how fast you are going a wing will stall at the same angle of attack (AOA) for any given weight.
  7. It would be cool if we could fuse the bombs so they detonate at 50ft AGL or at something other than the surface (POI) to maximize destruction.
  8. rep incoming!
  9. Haha, deeply appreciated Peter. Very much
  10. Just got some TM cougar Mfds, I have seen vidoes where an altered script file allows you to permanently show your MFCDs in the lower corners of your monitor. I am only using one monitor and would like to do this and mount the cougars on the monitor bezel. I have done some searching on this forum and am a little confused at what I am looking at. I have no experience with lua or script altering. Does anyone know if there is a posted file to download or can anyone explain an easy way to do this? Thank you
  11. I only downloaded the a10C world package and it works fine with the dcs world and P51 package. A10C works like it should with the default warthog profile. Just like playing the stand alone client. Also I never had to enter the serial number again; maybe the install recognized the valid stand alone client install on my machine.
  12. Got to mission 14:rockets. Is that it? It wont present me with any more missions even though I have completed all successfully. The cross country mission up to 30,000 Ft was fun btw, and the first strafing mission with the exploding trucks was super.
