  1. Since we will now have player controlled aircraft with radars, will the Identify Friend or Foe (IFF) in DCS A-10C now function?
  2. set one of the macro keys to be the right windows key. you can use the "On-Screen Keyboard" application (it should be installed by default) to press the right-windows keys when using the Razer programming software.
  3. work around here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1506085&postcount=17 binocular view is still fubar, but at least this is a start.
  4. I use a two monitor setup for A-10C where the MFCDs are exported to the second monitor and the cockpit on the main screen. When in CA, I still only get the view on the main monitor, but the HUD is stretched across both screens. Is there a way to fix this?
  5. Oh I didn't know this, I always assumed it was radar guided since the Tunguska had a radar. Wow it's really hard to hit something with the missile then, the AI is inhuman.
  6. What am I doing wrong? I made a mission with a SA-19 Tunguska and an A-10C, with me controlling the Tunguska. I locked up the A-10 by pressing enter, I fire the missile and keep the A-10 within the circle, but instead of tracking the plane it seems to want to track the center of the circle (like a TOW missile or something).
  7. Hmm, when I replay the track it ends with your crashing into the ground when you do your descending turn (using DCS A-10 1.1.1.1). What can I do to get the track to replay correctly?
  8. Can you switch on the fly? I haven't seen that printed anywhere. My thinking was that you could act as a game master and participate in the game as the same time. Another thing that I was thinking of doing was acting as my own JTAC (lasing my own target).
  9. So before CA comes out, I need to know if I should make a separate account for CA or should I use the same one I have for A-10C and Blackshark2. Here's my use-cases: 1.As a player, I want to be able to connect to the same server with both A-10C or Blackshark 2 and at with Combine arms at the same time. I want to be able to do this so I can command ground units, and fly the A-10C at the same time. 2. As a server admin, and player, I want to be able to host a DCS World server on a different computer and be able to connect to it as a player as well. So, should I create a separate account for Combined arms? Or would I be OK with just the one account with all my licenses (A-10, blackshark2, combined arms) --- Bonus question Can you have DCS Combined arms and DCS A-10C running at the same time on the same computer? I would like to be able to alt-tab between games while connected to a multiplayer server.
  10. Will the JTAC in CA be able to use S.A.D.L. to send targets to players flying A-10s? Also will they be able to call in air-strikes from AI planes?
  11. Anyone have a good Su-25T profile for the TM Warthog they'd like to share? I haven't used the Su-25T enough yet to know what I should and shouldn't map to my joystick; a good profile will help me cut down the number of time I have to exit and tweak the settings. Thanks!
  12. Oh, so the fix will be in the next version? Great! I didn't see it in the change log, so I assumed it wasn't going to be in there. Thanks!
  13. The one where the CBU-97s release their sub-munitions too early if the terrain height is anything above sea level. It might not be the weapon model, but maybe the release point calculation. See: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=84124 also http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=85050
  14. No fix for the CBU-97/105 terrain altitude problem? That one really needs to get fixed. I basically avoid using the CBU-97 because of it.
  15. I think spotting ground targets is one of the most difficult aspects of the game. There's labels, but it seems like over kill if you just want a little extra help finding targets. I'm suggesting the addition of a "Unit Glow" slider that would control an amount of "glow" added to all ground units. The glow doesn't need to be an actual light glow, but some kind of effect that make units visually "pop" more from the ground clutter. So you could turn the "Unit Glow" setting higher or lower depending on your preference, which would increase of decrease the glow amount or turn it off completely. My hope is that this would ease the transitions from using labels to not using labels.
  16. Odd. I created a new mission and tried it again and it worked. Must have been a bug
  17. hmm I made a group of tanks, and tried setting their start date to a later date, but they still were visible in the game. I tried everything else including using the "hide" option, but the units were still visible in game. Not sure what I am doing wrong.
  18. Thanks! I'll give those a try as see how it goes.
  19. If I wanted to practice evading an incoming SAM which one should I use? Something that's easy to see after it has launched, and is very susceptible to countermeasures. Anyone have a good candidate?
  20. I've got a couple questions regarding mission building I need to create a multiplayer mission that is basically a training session/playground mission. What I want to do is put a bunch of enemy units in clusters around the map for users to blow up. So in one area there would be static tanks. Another area would have moving ground targets. Another area would have enemy choppers on a racetrack loop. Another might have some SAM units so users could practice missle avoidance. Another area with a friendly tanker available for refueling practice. ... etc But I'd like for the enemy units to respawn after being destroyed so that the people can keep playing for as long as they want. Is this possible? If so, how? Or has someone already created a mission like this? Also, is there anything that I need to know or look out for when creating a multiplayer mission? thanks!
  21. I need some help customizing my controller setup. I have a Saitek Pro Flight Quadrant and I want to use one of the throttle levers to open and close the refueling port slipway door, but I can't figure out if it is possible. The throttle lever has a button trigger at the end of the pull (like the TM warthog's throttle). I want the refueling port slipway door to open when that button is depressed, and then to close when the button is no longer depressed. Is that possible? I looked at the .lua for the Saitek Pro Flight Quadrant, but I couldn't figure out how to modify it to get that functionality. Thanks!
  22. Another request to add it to the game. This sim needs cheap AA
