  1. Is there a mission already made for Supercarrier for F-18 or F14 where I can change the weather??? All I see are the few stock missions that came with the module, and I can't figure out how to get a mission where I can change the weather conditions. I want to take off in the rain! Do I need to use the mission editor? How are people recording these amazing videos taking off in the rain???? Also- will Supercarrier eventually be "merged" so that combat missions or campaigns in F-18 will take place using it? I can't go back and take off from the old carrier, but I cant figure out how to run a combat mission from the Supercarrier module. Please help! I am new! G
  2. Am I missing something, or are the takeoff and landing missions the only ones right now? Will SP combat sorties be possible in the future? Flying off the "old" flattops now just isn't the same, but I want to go blow stuff up and not just fly around the pattern!
  3. I am sorry...maybe I missed something....but if I am pointed at a gaggle of bandits 20 NM away and he starts squawking about them being there, shouldn't he at least lock them up for me? Is he programmed to do that automatically? Problem is, he doesn't. We fly at them and nothing gets locked up. I don't want to keep switching back to the rear seat to run the radar....isn't that the point of Jester???? So you don't have to fly BOTH positions at once? I see no menu in Jester's menu that says "lock stuff up for me bro". What the hell does he do on his own? You know, like a REAL person/RIO would? I need help....I suck at this A/C and I am tearing my freaking hair out. Any help or explanation about how to get him to lock up some bad guys for me would be great. GC
  4. Is this realistic??? Maybe for the A.....but the B had the upgrade that added airspeed and altitude data to the HUD....right? Someone please tell me I am right...or wrong?
  5. Hey Hansangb, I followed your link above ( http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?...&postcount=799) and I was finally able to get my 2 lilliputs up and working in 2.0! Thank you!!!!! I modified your .lua file, and things finally worked! 2 Quick questions: 1st- any idea why when I modify other .lua files and place them in my config\monitors folder, they will not show up in game, but your .lua file WILL show up in game when I place it in my folder? I couldn't get the sim to recognize any other files, but your .lua shows up in config as an option, and I am able to tweak it. 2nd- on the MFD displays I can see a "repeat" or ghost of the main screen behind the displays....any idea how to get rid of that? Does it matter if it is there from a performance perspective? Thanks in advance! I was really frustrated until I saw your post. GC
  6. BUMP! I am having the EXACT same issue....using 2 lilliput 8" with TM mfds. They work in A-10 1.1.1 but not in World 1.2.3
  7. Thanks to both of you You're right....the emc messed things up....it is working again Peter. You both are/were helpful, and I am grateful you are each here to help. Thanks, Geoff
  8. Hmmmm.....I selected "my" monitor config in the game. Does the .lua file look messed up? Any other possible reasons? 2nd question: does the "original" method described in page 1 of this post still work for A-10C version 1.1.1.1? I thought I read somewhere that after patch 1.0.0.9 things were changed by DCS monitor-wise and that people were having difficulties.... just asking because I think I am going to start from scratch if my .lua doesn't work, and I am hoping the original method still is valid (confirmation please?)
  9. Hi guys, problem with my setup after I reinstalled to 1.1.1.1 Hmmm....I have a 1920x1080 main monitor, and a second 1366x768 monitor and I had the MFD's set up nicely in my 2nd monitor. After reinstalling to 1.1.1.1 the MFD's show up as tiny little things in the upper left screen of my main monitor, and nothing shows in my 2nd monitor. Can someone help (maybe MadTommy)? Here's my .lua file: _ = function(p) return p; end; name = _('Cook'); Description = 'Two monitor configuration'; Viewports = { Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = 1920; height = 1080; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = 1.778; } } LEFT_MFCD = { x = 1920; y = 128; width = 400; height = 400; } RIGHT_MFCD = { x = 2886; y = 128; width = 400; height = 400; } UIMainView = Viewports.Center
