All positions are available for you to try-out, but we will only be selecting a few to join us for our 2007 season. Yes, but unfortunately, the HUD information, MFD screens, and gauge needles will still be in the same place as they were in the original cockpit. My first thought was to make an F-18 cockpit for the VBA's instead of the F-15 cockpit we use now, but I wouldn't be able to have 3 working MFD's, and the F-15 TEWS would still show up over whatever F-18 geometry I put in the Kabina file. ...unless someone knows how to adjust all that, but I believe that is what Ruggbutt was referring to. Looks like Strikemax has figured out the animations on Knells Lockon-Models forum :-) - gonna go try it now

100% agree EvilBivol :) To that end, here's a look at what I've been doing relative to "what can, and can't be done". Still have to figure out how to use the "arguments" to get flight surfaces moving, and how to put a pilot in the cockpit - guess I need a 3DS file of a pilot?! Found this F-5 model on the web...

Sorry this reply is 2 weeks late - I just found the thread For the Dirty Loop where we have the hook down, we put the F-18 geometry over the SU-33 flight model. i.e. renamed f-18a.lom to su-33.lom. Also readjusted server.lua to line up the inside cockpit view with the outside view of the aircraft. Right now I'm trying to put the F-15 cockipit on the F-18a with the "Humancockpit=yes" method. I can get the F-15 cockpit to work by renaming the Kabina-su-27.cmd file. BUT the HUD in the F-15 is still the su-27 HUD sybology (looks real wierd in an F-15)! Does anyone know which file I need to rename to relace the su-27 HUD symbology with the F-15 symbols? Thanks in advance

Sorry you feel that way - obviiously with an attitude like that, I have trouble believing you're 30 years old. By the way, I'm 41 years old, so I'm not a "KID" as you put it. Since you're a big shot lawyer, you should be able to afford a real laptop for those occasions when you're away. Looks to me that you can watch it when you get home from vacation anyway, so I have no intention of making and hosting a version just for you. Please don't ask me again for a Mac compatible version (I think you already posted rants on 5 or 6 other forums on this subject).

I'm sorry, but I would have nowhere to host it since it would end up over 500Mb in size :( I tried to make it compatable for the largest number of people - There were always going to be a few who could not see it. I'm sorry you can't see it on your mac. Do you have any friends with Windows XP? Maybe you could watch it at their place.

First, thanks for the compliments on the movie :) The Blue Angels mod you downloaded was made for version 1.11 only when we did the VFAT online aerobatic show. The corrupt textures you mention are due to Modman (Loman 5 or better). Modman does not place the textures in the correct locations, which is why you can only use Loman 2.1 final patched to install the mod. I suspect you can apply the mod to version 1.12a with Loman 2.1 final patched, but I can't guarantee the results since I haven't tried it myself. We still use version 1.1 due to a couple of issues with subsequent Flaming Cliffs patches (most notably the fact that we can no longer fly with flaps set to half). I may create a Blue Angels mod for 1.12a, and will definately create one for Black Shark, but in the mean time, you could try uninstalling the mod with Modman, then reinstalling over 1.12a with Loman 2.1 final with the Loman 2.1 patch. Again, I can't say if that will work or not. If you try it, let me know. Happy birthday Lock On... I remember when you were born!!

For reference, I already use 2 sets of joysticks in FC 1.11 simultaneously. I use the throttle from my X-36, and the stick from my X-52 Saitek. Reason being that I hate the twist stick rudder on the X-52, and want to continue to use the rocker on the X-36 throttle control for rudder. But the X-52 stick is smoother than my X-36 stick (pots getting old on the X-36) which is more precise for formation flying. Only trick was to assign all buttons and axes to an in game function. Otherwise it seems to freeze up the axes after 5 mins of flight. (Thanks to whoever posted that tip in a different thread). So after all that, I'm not sure what 1.12 joystick stuff is either - lol!!
