  1. Hi, So im coming back to my favourite plane (P-51 its a true beauty) after a few months in IL2 Stalingrad alpha\beta and now final release. Im prettey sure though that dcs ww2 will be the nr 1 WW2 sim for me. But one question, what is the tail fin underneath the P51 and also the FW190. I cant find this in real life pictures?
  2. I tried this, but i can not get access because its the wrong backer email
  3. Hi. I was a backer at 250$. How do i get my dcs dora beta key?
  4. Have you checked your mixture settings, i did the same mistake for a little while, always remember to set it back to Run after start up.
  5. It is a KA50 shooting in the video as well.
  6. Hi. Came over this on youtube, just wanted to share. Cannon sound at 10:08 why cant we have this in the sim  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g1MmrCybm9k
  7. yes this is how i do it, every time i move the stick i hit the trimmer button before i move the stick and release it when im in the new postion i want to be. its very smooth transistions i never get any jumps.
  8. Have you tried go to options and then special, and then tick the box that says *central position trimmer mode*. I find this option much more smooth, now you have to center your stick instead of letting go in 2sec.
  9. After a few days now training myself to mastering the huey, hover, flight transistions, weapons etc i got back to the shark and wow... How much easier it is for me to fly the shark now, it feels like a fixed wing aircraft compared to the huey, i had some problems with the hover check in the shark before, but no i do it with no hands on my joystick my coffee is in my right hand now :smilewink: the trim system in the shark is just so much easier for me now i dont use auto hover anymore there is no need any longer. Anyone else have similar experience? Now im off testing the mi8, having a realy realy good times in the helicopters, so much fun just roaming around the airport.
  10. I think i had the targets on to much of an angle as was said earlier in this thread, even though the tgp could see the targets and i get a picture in the mfd, i could not fire the laser. So i turned the aircraft more towards the target area an then i could turn on the laser again. Thanks for all the tips. :)
  11. Hi. So i have created a little practise mission to take out multiple targets in on pass with gbu-38s. I locate them with the tgp and have it set to latch-on to manual fire the laser to get the most accurate ranging then i store as markpoints. But when i turn the laser off after marking i can not turn it back on. Does the laser have a cooldown like the SU-25? And is it necessary to use the laser for accurate ranging with the tgp?
  12. Hi. I have same sort of question and done some test but on the SPPU-22-1 23mm cannon pods. I had 4 of them and fired them all simultaneously. Rate of fire is 3,400-3,600 rounds/min for one gun pod. But it seems its only the tracer rounds that hit the ground or target. There is no rounds inbetween the tracers. So very few impacts. And there is also very low spread, i would think if you fired them from an altitude of 1500-2000m down on some trucks that are not moving you would get a tremendous spread (recoil, rudder imputs etc.) and didnt have to aim super accurately? But it seems like you HAVE to hit very accurate as it is only the tracers that actually hit anything. Maybe impossible to model a such huge amount of bullets\cluster bombs?
  13. Yes you are correct silverfox441, the bm is a target tower\trainer. I guess information was wrong on that site i got that information. But according to wikipedia there are two seperate upgrade programs. SU-25SM and SU-25KM. And also the SU-25T was cancled in 2000 with only 8 planes produced. By 2020, 80 aircraft are to be modernised to SM version. So i guess the most common variant is the SU-25A?
  14. Hi. I have done some reading on the history of SU-25 and there is so many variants, so i started wondering what we have in DCS, it does not say in the manual or ingame encyclopedia what model of the SU-25 we have ingame? Su-25 (Frogfoot A) -- Original production ground attack aircraft with R-95 engines. Su-25BM -- Enhanced ground attack aircraft with R-195 engines, this is the current production version, and the most numerous in Russian service
