I don't think they will work on this project anymore. And we can't port the missions easily ourselves because they are change protected. I don't like this. -

I bring out Flaming Cliffs 2 because in the technical view FC -> FC2 is the same as BC -> BC2. They can't bring online compatibility without porting the module to the new engine which also adds the new graphical stuff.

You need to increase your resolution to WIDTH_leftMonitor + WIDTH_rightMonitor in the config which now is in C:\User\<user>\My Saved Games\DCS: Black Shark 2\config\options.cfg (Or something like that.) I use a resolution of 3600 x 1080 for a 1920x1080 and a 1680x1050 screen.

There is not tutorial mode anymore, just videos. If you want to play the tutorials you have to install BS 1.0. (Maybe 1.01 works, too. I don't know...)

Use your BS1 config but replace "SHKVAL" with "LEFT_MFCD" and "ABRIS" with "RIGHT_MFCD". That's all. Because you are flying a skinned A-10C after all ;)

The problem is that their DCS Modules and FC are not modular at all. For BS2 they had to remove most parts of the A-10C and put the Black Shark parts back in, but the aircraft is not really decoupled from the engine, so this was quite some work. And because tons of things were changed in WH they can't make BS1 MP-compatible with WH. Now they need to port the FC stuff to the WH engine... You can see that very good in the LUA-files, lots of names are specifically for the WH but are now used for BS stuff. One example for that is the multi-monitor config where the Shkval and ABRIS are now called LEFT_MFCD and RIGHT_MFCD. But now that they've done all that porting, the next "engine-hop" hopefully won't be so hard. :)

But you proved that the default pilot head position _is_ the Shkval-shrink problem. @Peter: Thanks for the research! Btw, I got the Shkval on my 2nd screen anyway. ;) -

You made the pilot taller. Probably because pilots are taller in RL than they were in BS1, right? -

I totally saw that "Everything is working as intended, everything is subject to change. Take it or leave!"-Response coming... The point was: Why did you change that detail from BS1 when it was working just fine and introduced this inconvenience? -

You now config multi monitor exactly like in DCS: A-10C. Your Abris is now called "RIGHT_MFCD" and the Shkval is now called "LEFT_MFCD".

Viper, why are you so rude? You really do bite like a snake at everyone who dares to criticise Eagle Dynamics, even if it is constructive criticism. Your "SHUT UP OR **** OFF"-attitude is not very helpful in this discussion. Either you say something constructive or you should be at least quiet and polite. I really don't worry about these 20$, but I am worried about Eagles design decisions and really hope that the Warthog-engine is much more modular and they can now built upon it. Please don't screw it up, Eagle Dynamics, please don't. Modularise it, this time for real, add DLC stuff for more income. We are fans, we are mostly fine with giving you money, we just don't want only 1 monolithic sim every 3 or more years that's giving you another nightmare when you port the last "modules" to the next engine.

Even the game process is called "DCS: Warthog", the viewports are named "LEFT_MFCD" and "RIGHT_MFCD", etc. It really is a modded DCS: A-10C ;) Btw, you really should release new Campaigns for a few dollars. Stuff like the "Deployment"-Campaign. Or other small add ons, people would buy it.

I really hope they figure it out, but I think the chances are not better than us getting a dynamic campaign like Falcon in the DCS products ;) The best improvement for me in BS2 is the new Mi-8 model. I followed the old model in way too many escort missions and it is just plain ugly. Thanks for a model that actually looks like a helicopter! <3

You could at least put it into the error message instead of a simple "Black Shark not found". That would have been helpful.

Start up, wait at about 200m height behind the end of the runway. You will see the MI-28 taxiing. Follow the helicopter (Yes, that sucker flies like a drunk). When you come back to the airfield, land at your starting point, set your radio to intercom, call the ground crew for refueling, get back into the air. Wait again behind the end of the runway and monitor the runway for the next helicopter. It sucks, yes. -

Anybody got a track for mission 16? I can only get 49%, the mission just stops after I killed the convoy that tries to escape. I see the 2 interceptors going down and that's it. Edit: And now the georgian interceptors kill all russian fighters and then they engage me. Mission just stops. Dammit, I'll skip the mission for now until I see a successful track...
