  1. I have the same problem with the A-10C using a x52 stick and throttle. All my other aircraft ( f86, SU 25 and KA 50) work perfectly fine. I cannot get the throttle's to move at all, when I am doing a cold start. Even the keyboard commands don't work, very very frustrating. Now during the cold start I have no roll command, just pitch and rudder. When I launch on the runway or in the air all works fine...WTF I have reinstalled, deleted profiles, all that I can think of, but nothings...sigh
  2. I did the latest DCS World update and now i have no control of aircraft. It's computer controlled as soon as i select any mission or any campaign. Any ideas? :pilotfly:
  3. This gentleman, is called, opening up a can of worms ;) Took quite a few take offs before I had a succesfull take off. It takes so long to restart I don't want to practice it again.. As for realism, i crew on helicopters, so much easier taking off into wind :)
  4. Well, much much anger trying to take off in crosswind. For starters, there is no wind direction in which the cross wind is, i am assuming if the weather states 17 degrees, it means winds are from 017? Or does it mean 170. In either case when I attempt to take off i usually get to about 50-70 knots and the aircraft yaws to the right and then i thunder in. Anyone have some tips? Wish there was a better weather read out so at least I could know for sure which way the cross wind is hitting me. Thanks in advance signed frustrated flyer
  5. Christmas dcs Module Giveaway DCS P-51D would be fantastic.......:pilotfly:
  6. I had the same problem with my X52. Turned out there was a buildup of dust or "something" in my controller. I sprayed the base of the controller where the stick goes into the base with contact cleaner, and Voila, no more problem. My issue was it was zooming in and out uncontrollably...very annoying, but with a quick shot of contact cleaner, happy times are back
  7. Trim A simple way to take off from the hover is to: 1. Make sure your brakes are set 2 Put the cyclic forward a little, then trim it there. 3. when you take off you won't pitch up, but will either be in a trimmed hover or a slight pitched down attitude. It works pretty well this way. It's easier then trimming after you first lift off, as this results in a nose up attitude unless your really quick. *note; This helo would benefit greatly with a beeper trim. This would allow you to "beep" the cyclic forward with a cyclic mounted button vice just setting the trim using the entire cyclic control stick. Not sure why the designer of this helo did not do this, but hey, they are engineer's......
  8. Dual Hydraulics The words read like this: "control is not possible with a dual hydraulic failure"....pretty well sums it up.....
  9. Dual Hydraulic Failure It would be impossible to control, this is why we have the magical device called "EJECTION".
  10. When I start up, I power of the sais and then align it with the horizon. It works normally when I launch, but after about 10 minutes it slowly topples, and I can't realign it. Am I making an improper switch, perhaps the DC/AC inverter in the wrong mode?
  11. Oops Apparently, i shouldn't drink at the same time I reply....
  12. Release Trim If your doing a running landing, release trim when you land on. Same for taxing, if you put a little forward cyclic to move, when you want to stop, release the trim. You can also add a slight bit of aft cyclic to slow yourself down.
  13. Anyone else have a blurry hud in BS12?
  14. Ya, I suck.....thanks for the tips....patience is the key I guess
  15. Ok, this is getting stupid. I just wait and wait for that second helo to appear, and nothing. What am I doing wrong? To make matters worse, I have to start the campaign all over again every time. Someone help, it shoudnt be this difficult....did they really preview there work before releasing it?
  16. Ok, I am a idiot. Didn't have my intercom set to Ground Intercom. Will try again.
  17. Well, I get the first part of the mission complete, but when I return to the airfield, I contact the ground crew for refuel, but get no response and no fuel. Confirm it's a RRR ( Rotor Running Refuiling) or I do I have to shut down completely. I wait for a few minutes, then hover off the end of 24, but wait and wait.......i am doing something wrong, but can figure it out....
  18. My problem is that on Mission 2 I don't have a flight plan and I just wait for the MI 28 to show up at the end of runway 24. Nothing happens, am I missing something???????
  19. I just got back into DCS Blackshark and seem to forgotten how to use the mission editor. When I open up mission editor all i see is two Icons and no other selectables. Also the flight plan's are not there to edit. Also, cannot make a new flight plan.....did I mess something up in the options?
